Ok , I did the override folder and works, just a last question to avoid issues In your OP you said that <EntryCount> has not relevance for us so in that field and in <NextEntryID> can i left the values from the original file that i have to change? Atm seems to work fine but i would avoid futher headache and make that in the right way. Thnks

Thnks for answer, yeah, how stated i'm a noob in modding PoE , i readed the part about the override but i hadn't time to make it in a proper form, btw atm i've changed really few string, so should be quick to compile. And about a new language, good advice, but i'm just an amateur, i'm pretty sure that after some patches there will be some group of italian translator that take care of this
  3. Thnks for this, just a couple of questions. I'm fixing by myself some mistakes in my localization (italian) and a lot of female pronouns are missing so i would try to add them. About that ,after some attempts i guess that also a string in the main stringtable (english) should be added to have a proper working mod, right? Can i left it empty and just add the required part in my localized stringtable? Are there other things to know about that ? Thnks in advance

Fortunately that didn't happened to me, but i had similar issue with other game in the past (save game corruption) Someone totally stuck have tried to remove (make a backup first) of C:\Users\your user\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity II\CurrentGame ? It's a hidden folder That should remove any info about your current game , clear the problematic files and maybe fix the issue (at least for new game)

Just found Modwyr, and after a little of disappoint with the weapon type (i'm using a devoted with double sabres ) i've read this description about soubound And i guess it's wrong (it's from PoE 1) , how you can see here are mentioned ruffian weapons that aren't anymore in the game Btw i've tried to see if something changed to 'not soulbound' it but i don't see any improvement, my devote penalty on accuracy of -10 is always here. Someone know what changes? Or if it's bugged? Seem that nothing change from a common weapon

Just to point out that the string 52 is wrong in italian localization and that ends to a totally missing combat log In gui.stringtable <Entry> <ID>52</ID> <DefaultText>{0} {1} su {2} per {3} danno {4}{5}.</DefaultText> <FemaleText /> </Entry> while in english <Entry> <ID>52</ID> <DefaultText>{0} {1} {2} for {3} damage{4}.</DefaultText> <FemaleText /> </Entry> so i just removed the {5} and now all is fine. Here a fix , i'm a noob here so i've published the modified core files and a backup, maybe in the next days i will add an override version. https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/55 Another issue is the translaction of Health (Salute)/ Endurance (Resistenza) in the italian localization (and also in French,Spanish and probably other languages) the description remain the same as PoE 1 where there was Health and Endurance. This usually bring to a misunderstanding of the game mechanics , so i think it really need a fix removing old translations of Endurance (in this case Resistenza) from the stringtable In gui.stringtable <Entry> <ID>368</ID> <DefaultText>{0}% Resistenza e Salute, {1} Tempra</DefaultText> <FemaleText /> </Entry> <Entry> <ID>368</ID> <DefaultText>{0}% Health, {1} Fortitude</DefaultText> <FemaleText /> </Entry> Also another big mistakes about weapons GUI is Off (Off-Hand) translated with Spento (literally Turned-off), in my fix i have trranslted it with 'Secondaria' Thnks in advance

  10. Was he an albino? Never read the stories. Joe He's a Dark Elf from Forgotten realms D@D settings, Pale Elf is really the only thing that allows you to get close to the same look. In Particular, the Icewind Dale and Dark Elf Trilogies by R.A. Salvatore. Right, but that's my point. He was Drow. Pale elves are, well, pale. Seems wood elf gets closer in complexion and you can still get the white hair I see him often illustrated with.   11. Don't remember where I got it in game. giveitem figurine_jade_tiger Seems to have really nice combat stats too. Many thnks, tried right now and fit even more then the lyon, but i can't control it and call it with a name... btw it's exactly the item that Drizzt need and with this one, i can switch to a fighter/barbarian to take more advantage from the high INT using berath's blessing and stats like Kaylon suggested. I'm a little undecided cuz with Ranger i can improve a bit the summon but INT for this build doesn't worth all those points. BTw thnks again to all , a lot of good advices.
  12. He had a panther figurine that let him summon a magic panther. That's a pretty perfect fit for what Ghost Heart does. Thnks to all, ok probably i will max dex and dump a little int, about class i choosed ghost heart right for the panther figurine and how Crucis said Staker doesn't give too much benefits.. basically Drizzt is a Fighter, i multiclass it just to have Guenhwyvar to summon
  13. I'm trying to make Drizzt Do'Urden, my choice atm is a Devoted (saber) / Ghost Heart. This is my current character, but i would make it better... Someone have any good advice , maybe about stats and abilities ?
  14. a lot of localization are totally scrambled , just try to switch from your language to english/us or viceversa during a combat, a lot of missing strings are there.
  15. Have to agree on this. It is very awkward to see regenerating health in a spiritual successor to the isometric CRPG classics of the 90s/early 2000s. Inside some localization still are present some wrong relink due that (italian&spanish for sure), that just create a great confusion for the player of the first title. I'm triyng to fix that bymyself but a lot of other strings missing from everywhere...

Hi men, i just wanna post a bug about 'Health' translation (found in Italian & Spanish localization , portoguese/french/germany seems ok about that), the isssue is about the relink of the text that doesn't work like the english localization it's my first post so i can't pos it on the Forum Bug Btw here some screen Game version is the last one from GoG Again apologies if i'm posted it in the wrong place, but i come here right now just to understood
