  1. I really enjoyed IWD2, up to a point... more specifically the Ice Temple point... and after I managed to escape that place, I started enjoying the game again. Fell Wood and the time loop thingy were not too bad, once I figured them out.
  2. Well I laughed when Yoda started lightsaber-fighting, but it was a sardonic kinda laugh.
  3. What Darque said.
  4. Granted I haven't read very many Star Wars books, but one of my favourites always Splinter of the Mind's Eye, set sometime between episodes IV and V and written by Alan Dean Foster.
  5. "That's cool, and you are cool. If anything, if someone gets accused of spamming by me they should be worried considering the number of posts I have. LOL" Right on, that's why I laughed
  6. "Thank you. However, I should say, I basically have two types of posts - ones thata re strictly on topic, and thsoe where I tend to have tod efend myself from those who accuse me of some great Sin tm sicne we all know Im Evillly Stupid Incarnate or pointing out to people that posts like the one I quoted help no one..." It's cool, and my post wasn't intended as an attack to be defended against. I just think it's funny... I'd say the same to any "spammer" out there, just that today I found this thread to be an interesting read. EDIT: Note to self -- must type faster.
  7. Heh, that's funny: you telling someone else to stop spamming.
  8. He was also the villain in Gone In 60 Seconds
  9. What about when Luke blew up the AT-AT Walker on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back, and when Han threw the charges at the Imperial guy and knocked him into the reactor core thingy in the bunker on Endor in Return of the Jedi?... Okay no explosions then, but still...erm, what about when Luke blew up the AT-AT Walker... nevermind.
  10. Michael Bell was also the voice of Larrel in Icewind Dale, and Haer'Dalis in Baldur's Gate II. He also played Grappler Zorn in the ST:TNG pilot episode, "Encounter At Farpoint." He'd be an excellent choice, IMHO, for any voice acting.
  11. A friend of mine had one, but we only played baseball... oh wait, and there was a submarine- or naval battle-type game too. I thought the Colecovision had better graphics for the most part. Zaxxon was great on the Colecovision.
  12. Agreed, but.... no loot?
  13. ^ I like the way they turned the Vader/Skywalker lightsaber duels into a legend.
  14. I recognize you. You're the one who liked the Myth games.
  15. Supposed best? Go Lim-Lim Go!!
  16. Exactly. Do your job with professionalism and courtesy. Get a big tip at the end of the day. Get drunk. Then curse the GM
  17. Yup me too :D
  18. You're probably right. The Stars were a great team and deserved to win, but not that way. It was a silly rule to introduce in the first place, and to have it enforced all through the season and then ignored on the cup-winning goal... It's a hell of a way to lose.
  19. It was a pathetic display all right, and what's worse... the Canucks beat my Leafs out that year.
  20. Actually, it was Dallas that beat Buffalo that year. Hull was a Star at the time. That was a goal that clearly should have been reviewed at least, given that the majority of the time through the season and the playoffs, goals were reviewed when someone was even close to the crease. IIRC, series was 3-2 at that point, and if Buffalo had won, they would have forced a game 7. They had Hasek in goal then, anything was possible. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Sabres fan, they beat out my Leafs that year  ...but that call was just wrong. As for Canadian hockey fans not throwing fits... *remembers Vancouver in '94 after game 7* ...and that was a legitimate clincher scored by Leetch(?) I'm disappointed that the Flames lost, but Tampa showed they were the better team in game 7. If only the Flames had played the entire game like they played the last 12 minutes. But the Lightning deserved to win, congrats to them.
  21. *sniff* Poor little old Cincinnati. Ever since WKRP went off the air it just ain't been the same Cincy at all.
  22. :D Like that's ever gonna happen! Hmm... *Paints Volourn blue and white and puts him on a bus to Ottawa*
  23. Good luck and good fortune to the IPlay employees, wherever they may end up.
  24. Striding through the steppes, clutching a reflective halberd, cometh Mr Insomniac! And he gives an ominous roar: "As sure as predators devour prey, I swear that on this night, you shall dine in hell!"
