I did take it a bit too literally, but I must still be easy to please then...my fav. NPC list is probably huge by now. And his dialogue was awkward, to be sure, but wasn't what I'd call "terrible". There's a fine line between mediocre and "terrible". Bethesda tends to walk this line often...but they always make sure to inch their way back toward the former.

Maybe I've got a better memory than most of you ('scuse me while I laugh my ass off at the notion.) but I remember characters. Even bit characters, for little things like a favorite line or something. Whenever I hear Owyn (In the Arena) say "He looks like a bit of a dandy." In that voice, I can't help but chuckle about it. Why can't I take screenshots in Oblivion? I set the Oblivion.ini file in My Games the way I've been told to, but I still can't take any. And yes, I'm using Paint. Edit: And I see I'm not the only one who got a new card for his birthday. A X1900 XTX 512MB PCI-E. (w00t) I get the same weird slow downs though in the oddest places.

In terms of being overly severe in the punishment, this reminds me of that one case where a little girl threw a snowball at a friend, who ducked, and accidentally hit a patrol car that happened to be passing by. The cop got out and put the little 9 or 11 year-old in hand cuffs, took her down to the police station, and brought her up on charges, printed her, the works. She was sobbing the whole time! Or that 2nd grader who threw a tantrum, hitting her teacher a couple times with little girl punches...the prinicple called the god damn cops. They arrived and restrained the girl, putting her in cuffs while she's crying for her mother...they printed her for god sakes. I don't know what's going on in the country with law-enforcement and minors, but it's getting a tad bit ridiculous. That and it's majorly pissing me off.
