All the starwars games I play they always seem to make the lightsaber weaker than it really is. I know that if they made it that it could cut through almost anything it might take away from the gameplay. What do you guys think? Is there a way to make a lightsaber realistic and the game be fun? Or is 2-16 damage good enough for you guys?
I'm going with tidbits. Or wait, will they release Prestige class info? Argh... I don't know. In my frustration I will vote no New news till I read the instruction booklet to protest.
As evidence for Murda's theory is that the producers watched all the movies again before making the story. They could have seen that the Jedi's had a backup plan and added that to their story.
I would love it if there were no pregiven feats. But they would let you choose like 4 on your first level up. I would love that. The more customization the more fun I have.
I like the fact of needing to use feats for better robes.
I think it would be cool if it didn't carry over. Then you could up the challenge level by trying bosses out with a weaker team. I think that would be fun. Plus if they are behind they would level up quicker to catch up. So it wouldn't be that bad.
I'm just wondering does our PC start out at level 1? So will my consular have 6 VP and 8 FP at the beginning. If so what force powers could I cast? Do you think they will give us a bonus to compensate or will we not be able to use force powers till like level 2 or 3?
No more debate anymore. Those pics that were on gamespot answer it all.
Oh Consular is for advanced players only huh? Nobody's gonna tell me that and not expect me to show them I am an advanced player. Bring it!
I think it goes like so. You used your lightsaber in an evil way by tearing sion to pieces. The Jedi then took your lightsaber away. Sion still lives through the force nearly indestructable. Only the original lightsaber that wounded him can end up killing him.
What was special about Bandon's?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Bandon's added special qualities to your crystals.
I just got an idea. What if your lightsaber is the only thing that can destroy sion?
I like the fact that lightsabers will be more special. But judging from the screenshots it still looks like plenty of people will have them.
Maybe your PC's lightsaber is like Darth Bandon's was?
I can see it now. Kreia reenacts Bastila on the Leviathon.
Kreia: You guys get out of here, I'll Keep Sion Busy
Rand: NOOOOOO!!!
Kreia jumps in to attack Sion and Door closes then explosion happens.
In KOTOR your PC was given a gift of 40 extra force points. It said that all padawans react differently to training and get a bonus depending on what they are good at. In TSL if you are given a choice on what your gift is, what would you pick?
I think I'm going Lightsaber making skills improved. It would help out my Guadian without needing the skills of a Sentinal.
Agreed.
Also, for me there was really no enemy that I had to think too hard about. The Sith Govenor on Taris I had play 3 times until I beat him. But I was still getting a hang of the game. Now that I have a hang of KOTOR, I don't know...
Sometimes it is good to go over the basics. So if there are 12 NPC's in the game and only 10 can join your party does that mean that only 2 are darkside/lightside?
They give the Sentinal more skill points this time around. And skill points are much more important. I think that the Sentinal class will be able to create the best lightsaber in the game.
