  1. Has anyone played any games that the obsidian people have made before? What was their challenge level? Like was Fallout hard?
  2. With all of the upgrades in TSL (new crystals, new stances, new lightsaber qualities, new force powers, more level ups, skill points are more important, prestige classes, blasters do more damage, all non-jedi's have special skill, start out as jedi, and no Carth) will the game have challenge? I mean if we get all these upgrades and the enemies only get a little harder, won't we just wipe up?
  3. Just as long as it isn't overwhelming the posts, I don't mind an off topic from time to time.
  4. I looked around and a couple more sites say Feb. 8th. I guess everyone is just picking a day in Feb. and they don't really know yet.
  5. I did a search and didn't find anything about this. On Ign today (Nov. 4th) They had TSL's release date as Feb. 15th. Do you guys know anything about this. IGN Release Dates
  6. I'm thinking he is a force adept. I'm guessing he becomes your apprentice and you train him. Another note, if Mira is a bounty hunter class do we have any clue as to her level progression? Like how many Vitality points a level does she get and what about skill points?
  7. It says I don't have permission to access the file.
  8. I'm thinking Canderous joins your party in TSL. Then he is impressed with Atton Rand's fighting style. Then he uses his line "Atton, I'm your man until the end." Just a thought.
  9. Maybe something that looks to be a twist but then later turns out to be not so twisty? Or something like that.
  10. Didn't they say that he is yhe one that breaks your items down? If so then he is very valuable if he is the only one that can do that.
  11. Did they say that there wouldn't be any twists in the game? Or am I thinking of something else?
  12. The reason why consulars were excellent in KOTOR is that with proper class crossing they can fix all their weaknesses. Plus with the level cap at 20 their advantage of more force powers was very valuable. Also the cross classing hurt you number of available force powers. For example, if you went level 6 soldier then you ended up being level 14 Guardian. That would be a total of 15 force powers. But in TSL it looks like a Guadian class Jedi could have more force powers than even the Consular in the original KOTOR.
  13. Yes. And I bet you most of them will be resistant to a lot of the force powers you throw at them.
  14. twins <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Clones. Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords (Resurgance of the Clones).
  15. First off, Kelly is good. A little older, but good. Here's why I don't think it helps the consular that much. Point 1. How many force powers do you need. Once I have level 3 lightning, whirlwind, plague, kill, horror and drain, how many more could I use? Point 2. If I go all Darkside and pick all Darkside powers. I won't need all those extra force points. Even in KOTOR my consular had so many force points that I would recharge them so fast I could never run out. How much more when I'm a level 30 consular. It's overkill.
  16. Somebody who is good at posting pics should do a picture-agrophy of mug shots and names under them. Maybe I will If I could figure it out.
  17. Consulars were an excellent class in KOTOR. I don't see the reason to pick them this time around in TSL. Maybe you guys can help me see the error of my ways. Here are 5 reasons why I don't think they will be a solid class choice. 1. Higher level cap. More levels mean more force powers. So even a Guardian will have plenty of force powers to choose from. 2. Higher amount of force points. With the higher levels come more force points. If it still takes 20 Force points to do a universal move and my high level Guardian casts it, even he will still be able to use plenty of force powers. 3. You learn force powers by doing things in the game. Yet another reason why my guardian can have plenty of force powers. 4. Prestige classes. If I start out as a Guardian and find that I still want to have more of a push in the force power area, I can just choose to be Jedi Master. 5. More Sith Lords to fight against. Malak was extremely resistant to force powers. He was only one. With more Sith Lords to fight against you will have even more enemies that are resistant to force powers. Now before all the consular lovers get mad at me, I still think they are a good class. I just think that in TSL there is less of a reason to choose them.
  18. O.K. here goes <clears throat> Lightsaber goodness The Sith Lords will rock the house mmmm tasty Mira (w00t)
  19. On a side note. If an enemy made a saving throw it would stay up the whole turn. This is troublesome if you don't know what the symbol is for the attack you want to do. Not too bad for Force powers but I couldn't tell if I was selecting HK's flamethrower or stun beam weapon.
  20. After looking at that can Yoda pick them or what? Dooku goes dark side. Qui gon never listens, and then there's anakin. Sigh, these are dark times.
  21. Yeah that part in KOTOR was dumb, especially when my character was totally killing Malak. But maybe for the Sion encounters the environment saves the characters and not themselves? I just have this picture of the mining facility falling on sion then the characters leave and then he gets out.
  22. Just wondering guys. I haven't played too many RPG's on the Computer. So I don't know classes very. But I always thought the Clerics, or classes that have a lot of mana, spell or force points were very weak when it came to taking damage. They would be really valuable but you would have to protect them a lot. Is this the case in KOTOR? Does the Consular class represent the Cleric class well?
  23. Just for me I would want Prestige character stats. Then I would want player level up charts. So then I could study (when I'm bored) what classes I want to be and exactly what level to be when I go Prestige. That way my PC is the perfect character.
