In hollywood, some movies have what is known as a coda. It is at the end of the movie after the main conflict has been resolved. It is a cute little moment or something where a loose end is tied up ore we learn a little more about a character. Since videogames are a young art from I can't think of any games that have had a coda yet. But I'm sure as the art form matures we will see more of that.

What's the last of the planets going to be?

Yavin 4 would rock! But hey on a side note has there ever been a video game from LA where you have to fight against Kun? -
So jaquar, are we sure that we will have the same 30 points we had in KOTOR?

Hey where is the option that you like EU better than the original Star Wars. Or is that Blasphemy

I went to the gone gold game site and it appears to be down So I can't tell you for sure. But isn't it something like two weeks to make all the copies of games. So I think at the very least it would have to be done 2 weeks before Dec. what ever the date is (I'm waiting for Feb.)

I'm in the 7-9 catergory somewhere in there.

One thing we do know for CERTAIN, is that Mira was not in charge of the party when this droid died.

Oh so HK would be a protocol droid to everyone else. I still don't picture HK blowing himself up on accident though.

Do you guys keep even numbers?

Is power gaming a bad thing? I can't help it if I have to be perfect! Please help me of this diseas :"> -
I can see it now. An unarmed consular running in for melee attacks. Now that would be fun.
-
But doesn't HK stand for a Hunter Killer droid? Or did I just make that up in my head from watching Terminator too many times.

I think these little touches that have been going on will add a nice amount of replay value to them. I already envision me playing at least 6 times through. " -
It said protocol droid. So I was thinking t3m4 or a c3p0 type droid. Not an HK.

It would be cool if as you were playing you see an enemy pull out a lightsaber and be scared. Because they would be so rare that you knew that enemy you were about to fight had lots of training. -
Playing through KOTOR I got to the point where I knew the best item for every slot and made sure that my stats would stay at even numbers. That way I could the most modifier points. In TSL when you don't know what kinds of items are out there are you guys gonna keep most of your stats in the even numbers or will you go odd counting on items and level ups to make those odd numbers into even numbers?

I would love if the level cap of 20 returned. But that is not so So I would like maybe a level cap of 20 on the hard difficulty setting. That would be cool. If not that then no more than 30 levels please. If it is removed entirely it could be o.k. just as long as they don't beef up the exp. points for everything. If you got the same amount of exp. points as you did in KOTOR then it would be harder to level up. So I would welcome the no cap if they did it this way. I just want the game to be hard.

I have a feeling that the what's his face lightning bolt grabber thingy force power will be in the game.

Call of Duty online with teamspeak is fun. It's almost an RPG. You can pick your weapon at the start! (w00t)

In one of the questions that pop up there is talk of a holocron falling out and you have the choice to pick it up. So do you think that there will be lots of holocrons in TSL? Maybe they give you new force powers to learn?

So are you saying the Consular does not represent the Cleric well. As well as the Guardian not representing the Warrior class well?

Watch AotC again. Anyway, the lightsaber being too powerful/not powerful enough issue is more of a bad conversion from the D20 system than anything else. You see, in the D20, vitality points don't actually represent a character's resistance to damage, but their ability to avoid lethal damage. These increase with levels and are replenished at the end of the fight. The true toughness of a character is represented by his wound points. These have the same value as their CON score, and aren't increased with levels. When a character is hit, the damage is substracted from their vitality points. When a character runs out of vp, they have 'run out of luck', and the next attack causes real physical damage. Considering that the average CON score is around 12, you can see that most characters will be killed in one or two shots from a gun, and will hardly survive a lightsaber blow. It's interesting how in the D20, only characters which have access to PC classes have vitality points, meaning commoners, stormtroopers, battle droids, and the sort only have wound points, thus reflecting the 1-hit-kill feel from the movies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like that! Sounds like it could work in a game.

I loved KOTOR. I have a strong feeling I will love KOTOR 2. Hades does bring up some good points and an RPG where you have so many more choices would be an excellent game. But as long as they keep improving their games, us gamers can only win.

My first couple times through KOTOR I killed the Rancor. I didn't know you could feed him poison. Well I knew you could but didn't know how to. I didn't know you could give items. It was a fun battle though. Never laid so many mines.
