  1. Do you guys think the items you could get on yavin were TOO GOOD? My character had both of the special crystals with two sabers and I could kill pretty much anything with 1 force jump (even the rancors on unknown world). Will there be items like that in kotor 2? and will they take the fun away?
  2. That is of course if you don't have the two special crystals on yavin. If you have those you need two different light sabers. And those two lightsabers are way more powerful than the double-bladed lightsaber.
  3. Oh o.k. I like that idea. Having to fill in prerequisites. That means It is more up to me. So I can strategize the quickest way to be a prestige class.
  4. I don't know what you guys are talking about. Revan is a she.
  5. I was just wondering when do you guys think we will be able to switch to the prestige classes? I can only think of two different ways. 1) Like in the first Kotor when a certain part in the story happens you change (like going to dantooine to change to jedi) or 2) Switching once you reach a certain level. The first one you would probably play like I did in the first Kotor. Don't level up very much until you become prestige class. This can put a damper on replay because you would then want to skip past the beginning parts and not do much until you became a prestige class. on 2 you would just turn at a certain level. This would then take away the strategy on deciding what level you want to switch to prestige class. Which one would you guys rather have?
  6. I agree. One of my favorite things about Kotor was looking over the manual and figuring out how to make the best character ever.
  7. What's the difference between a dark jedi and a sith?
  8. Judging by the fact that the sith lords are hunting you down to kill you, it would put a little dampening on joining the sith right away. Maybe after you kill one of the sith lords you could join. But I still don't think that will happen right away.
  9. I'm sure I'll find it. I think I saw one at my local walmart the other day. It has been there for a while.
  10. I was thinking that another way they could add replay value to Kotor II is further messing with the differences between light and darkside characters. If you go light you would playout the game how Kotor 1 unfolding. Fighting the evil characters. But when you went darkside you still had to fight the same bosses. What if when you went darkside you would have to fight light side bosses. The movies and games almost always have the light side prevailing so they could end up being some of the best bosses. It would be cool fighting a little yoda type guy who still claims my ds character has much to learn. What do you think?
  11. Thanks for your suggestions, Since I already own, rebellion, academy, outkast I've made my decision. I'm going to buy fallout 2. Thanks for the suggestions all.
  12. Any suggestions on games I could play while I'm waiting for kotor 2 to come out that you think would be a similar experience?
  13. Cool. It sounds like we are in good hands.
  14. One thing I didn't like in the first kotor was not enough options for scripting my ai. I would have liked one that made my ai do nothing unless i tell them too. I don't know how many times my characters would rush in ahead of my jedi when i wanted them to stay put. I would have to pause the game select them and cancel all their moves and then they would stand still for a while and then run in. Another idea could be picking their list of moves and handpick four moves and at the end of that they would loop. Like you could choose, Force Wave, Flurry, Force Wave, Heal for instance and those moves would loop on the AI.
  15. Yeah I think arena would be an excellent idea. Because at the end of Kotor 1 I claimed my Darth Revan guy could beat three malaks at once (considering I could kill malak in 3 swings) and I always wanted to try it out.
  16. Now I know lots of people played through kotor twice. Because most wanted to see the light and dark ending. I've got an idea I think might be cool. What if at the end of the game you beat it and get the light side ending. Then the game stores your character stats. Then when you play it on the dark side, after you beat whoever the last boss is you have to fight against your light side character that you beat the game earlier with. I think that would be an interesting battle. They shouldn't use this as what really happened, just a fun battle to do at the end. What do you think?
  17. thanks I'll check out the difficulty thread. I still think they would have time to make the game harder though.
  18. I see on the forums that a lot of people gripe about how short Kotor was. Many people are suggesting that they make the game longer. This would add more time to the production of the game and I would rather have Kotor II sooner rather than later. So my suggestion falls under my biggest gripe of Kotor I and that is the game was way too easy. A way to fix both the problem of too short and too easy would be that after you beat it the first time you could unlock a Jedi Master type difficulty. This way they could effectively double the game length without adding to much programming. What do you guys think?
