Expectation rises with game quality! Its like inflation! Just imagine TSL's had come out first and we are all waiting for KotOR to come out now. Puts it in perspective for me even though I havnt played TSL's yet. My guess is, if that was the way of things I'd be dissappointed with KotOR! Who knows though, but I'm quietly confident its been put in extremely good hands.

If I remember correctly, one of the prieview movies demonstrates how it has been implimented, or at least you can see it being used...I may be wrong though.
