Games of the CRPG vareity that are a must have: Fallout 1 Planescape: Torment Fallout 2 Ultima 4 Baldur's Gate 1 w/Tales of the Sword Coast Baldur's Gate 2 wo/Throne of Bhaal Ultima 7 Arcanum Morrowind w/Tribunal and Bloodmoon Icewind Dale 1 w/Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster

It was both NWN and Temple of Elemental Evil. Neverwinter Nights for after playing BG1 and BG2, NWN was a major disappointment. ToEE for all the bugs and issues it had and the fact there were parts of the game that made no sense whatsoever.

We most certainly don't need people like that around, but then again I am beginning to see a trend among the CC people, the DLA peeps particularly and I don't like it.

Neither do I but I manage and you don't need to upgrade your computer every few months. Its it every few years. My last computer last me 4 years and I was able to play KotOR 1 no problems. My current computer is going on its second year. Upgrading a every few months is a myth.

What are you expecting them to say beyond that they are using this time to make bug fixes for the PC and International X-Box versions? What else is there to say?

Epiphany, don't blame Obsidian that you were stupid and gotthe console version. The norm for consoles games is that they don't get patched. It is the main reason why I will never be a console gamer.

For the most part they are just posting the same crap that we already covered before in the old forums so until that stops they aren't really relevant.

I have a friend who has a bot system that I could make an account there and then use a bot to spam every board Bioware has, but that would be stupid and a waste of time. I rather do that in person anyway. Far more satsifying.

The problem with Troika is they got the ratio right, but did it in the wrong order.

You have a point there, but since Obsidian is in a better position than Troika is right now I think it would be a good time to do their own IP. I think that 2 license products for each original IP would be a good ratio for Obsidian.

That wouldn't be a problem, Phospheric (tee hee), if we could fully discuss Neverwinter Nights 2 here.

Obsidian has done or inthe process of doing 2 cashcow CRPG. If they did their finances right they can afford to make their own IP. I mean if Troika can do so with their initial game, Obsidian can easily do it for their 3rd.

I won't touch a Troika game because of their bug-infested software. After ToEE I know better.

And that is coming alot who has only 4 posts. You haven't been here long enough to be even a part of this community. What would help you is that one, you get thicker skin. We joke, we poke, and make fun of each other here because we are a group of online friends. And in my experience friends do that sort of thing to each other. Sometimes , once in a while, someone crosses the line but in a post or three later things are back to normal. As for all out attackso n the DLA where might they be at. Personally I think DLA and CODI material looks great, but if you are expecting me to pay for user made mods you are insane. I spent $5 on Shadowguard and Witch's Wake and they were okay stuff, but the limitations of DD I will probably not going to buy much else. Anything above $5 I want hard tangible disc and a fully documented user's manual that I can take to the jon with me. Call it old fashion, but that is how it goes.

I have no problems getting people in the loop. They could come here and discuss it instead of the Bioware forums. Its not like Obsidian's forums are exclusive or anything. Its not like NWN 2 isn't being covered by the major NWN sites either. There is exposure to the game. The move was unnecessary.

This line makes absolutely no sense to me.

Besides I was working on a module, but it died when my old computer died. Right now I am working on modding KotOR 1 and when I get it KotOR 2. If someone makes a d20 Modern Hak for NWN 2 I might mod that game but NWN 1 is the past for me.

That is a very good point Degan, and those who are newbies to this community such as DraconisRex and Elryn only purpose is to goad and troll the regulars here.
