I am really disappointed with Obsidian by this. I thought they actually cared enough about their fanbase enough to give us fair warnings before doing major changes like this. Communication is always good.

Well, I have listened to the soundtrack and I like it. It is many ways better than the first game.

NO TORN! NO JEFFERSON! NO VAN BUREN! Those games are dead! So is my interest in NWN 2. EDIT: Thanks for the information relay, Phospher. It is appreciated. I just wish they gave us prior information before this lame arse move.

X-Box live is for multiplayer games and KotOR 2 is not multiplayer. Also X-Box live is not for patches, it was set up by Microsoft for multiplayer gmes.

Why bother, Phospher? The reasons why people were here was because of the NWN 2 forums now that KotOR 2 is released on X-Box and soon to be released for the PC. This move killed the community here and nothing is going to bring it back short of a new game announcement or the reopening of the NWN 2 forums here. It would be like putting a band aid on a multiple fracture.

Better late than never.

There are several reasons why this is a bad decision. First off the Bioware forums are ancient in their coding. It takes, even on DSL, almost a minute to fully load. I hate to see how long it would take on dial up. Next those forums don't have the options that these forums have. No custom avatars, no poll systems, and no attachments. Also they have it in that aweful color scheme of theirs. These are all good reasons not to go to the Bioware Boards. Add to the fact the the mods and the developers there are a bunch of anal retentives that can stand any opinion that isn't from a gushing fanbois praising their games it is just a bad place to be.

I like this idea. Atari has their NWN all in one location, and all of us can discuss the game in a good forum.

No X-Box live because X-Box Live is meant for multiplayer games while KotOR 2 is a single player game. Its just that simple.

Biwoare has the worse forums for gaming, period. They have no polls, no custom avatars, very slow loading times, their moderators are anal, their developers can't take an honest opinion. They are just simply terrible.

For the most part Biowarians don't have the back bone to take an honest opinion. When I see something stupid I call it stupid.

Yeah, I did deserve to be banned, mainly because I gave honest opinions on things without sugarcoating anything. That is one thing the Bioware people can't hand and that is the honest opinion.

There is more to it than just our bannings, Volourn. All those posts are gone. Didn't look like they made the cross over, and there were some good stuff in those threads.

Its hard to be strong when the leadership was being completely stupid.

Take it where it was bought at and I am sure it can be fixed. Or send it back to the manufacturer to get a replacement. It should stil be under warranty.

IQ tests are complete bull. I had one give me a score of 175 and another give me a score of 95. In the end it doesn't matter how intelligent you are. Only thing that matters is how you apply that intelligence.

Its not Obsidian's call, but if Lucas Arts let them do it I don't see why Obsidian wouldn't.

Doom 3 had more of a story than HL2, and I found Doom 3 mildly entertaining.
