  1. If someone buys me the PC version of the game I would gladly post what I think of it. (tee hee)
  2. Not with my experience with Rolemaster, or better put Rollmaster: The game of endless charts. It took me 10 hours to create a single character in all of his slpendor. From all his stats, find the right artwork to represent him then do some minor alterations, getting all of his equipment, write out his entire history to the starting point of the campaign, his listed profession and why he chosen that profession, and skills. The next day he was killed with a single roll of a die. All that time wasted. All that effort for nothing. I stopped playing Rolemaster after that.
  3. I wasn't refering to KotOR 1, Volourn. Take the post in the context that it is written in, refering to KotOR 2. Its not that hard to do, for any grade schooler can figure it out.
  4. Agreed. Its like Lucas Arts doesn't want the game to be sold. What is up with this Obsidian? ANSWER US! What is going on here?
  5. How would they be the same? I don't follow your logic, Volourn. If PS:T story quality and Fallout open style gameplay were standard, game developers would actually try to exceed those standards. For those who want average games we would still have rhigher quality than the current drek and crap we are getting now. I don't want to go through 6-7 years without a near perfect game.
  6. Its better than the first two games. ALso the longer the battle takes the longer the bugger has to use his equipment up. It doesn't matter any way. They way that KotOR does random drops suck and its not going to change. I just hope Obsidian does better with NWN 2.
  7. Just is the system requirements for this game anyway? Out of curiousity I went to the LucasArts main siste and it doesn't list them. What the hell is up with that? The game is less than a month from being released and they don't have the system requirements up?!?!? Don't you guys know the system reuirements, Obsidian? have you shared this information with LucasArts yet? What is the freaking delay? Very bad form to not list the system requirements with a game less than a month from release. Get on your publisher's ass so they can get their work done.
  8. Not bad ideas, but we should be able to play non-jedis from the start.
  9. Bingo. Like I said before, PS:T should be the standard of all CRPGs where it comes to story quality.
  10. What would be realistic if the computer takes a look at the equipment being used by the adversary and take into account how quickly they died. Faster they died, the more salvagable their equipment is, ut longer the battle goes the less likely there will be anything of use left for it will either be used up, such as healthpacks, or destroyed and rendered unusable. That would be the realistic way of doing it. Not Bioware's way or this random loot drop. You would think that this would be somewhat common sense for developers to use.
  11. You haven't read everything for there is always more things to read.
  12. In Iowa you can only return the game for the same game and no, you cannot get your money back.
  13. Rolemaster was horrid. 10 hours to make a character, and a single die roll to kill it. No thank you.
  14. Why get on the case of others for something you also do. Sounds a wee bit hypocritical to me.
  15. If they went DVD I would buy the game just to support the format.
  16. Well, don't you do that to?
  17. Maybe a revision isn't the right word. He is caling it a "Director's Cut." It has all the information in the first version as well as new character race, a new character class, new champion and totem warrior types, new rituals, prestige classes, new spells, new spell templates, feats, equipment, and so forth. Also add in the fact the book jumps from 254 pages to over 400. I think it will be well worth the price.
  18. Or you could pre-order it at the loacl gaming shop which will hold your copy til you go in to get it.
  19. Its a CRPG? I thought it was a screen saver.
  20. Well, Monte Cook's revision of Arcana Unearthed should be out soon, Arcana Evolved. I am thinking of picking it up when I have the money.
  21. Zoq, trolling is such a harsh word. I would say verbal aggravation through unreasonable logic, utilizing inane quirps with the backing of skewed facts. :D
  22. Unearthed Arcana is from Wotc and it is a very different book. Edit: Sounds like a good system, J.E. Too bad it is in a worthless MORPG.
  23. Zoq: Of course he knows. He is doing this just to get a rise out of Ivan.
  24. Fot, what does a random picture of some unknown basketball player has to do with anything?
