  1. I can see one team being used part time to work on NWN 2 till bug reports for the PC KotOR 2 come flying in which at that point, with hope, will be transferred to work on KotOR 2 for more bug squashing and making patches.
  2. I plan on altering the 2da files like I did in KotOR 1. That should lower the leveling just a bit by getting less experience from combat.
  3. Troika did several things wrong. It tried to do an independent game first. As much as I dislike it, but Obsidian's approach was much more sound. Secondly it got into contracts that it couldn't complete a game in. ToEE was evident of that. Secondly it tried to work on a fourth game without a secured publsiher for it.
  4. *Visceris begins to sing* Jesus hates me this I know. For the bible tells me so. Little ones he tyrannize. Worhsip him or you all will die. Oh, Jesus hates me. Oh, Jesus hates me. Oh, Jesus hates me. For the bible tells me so. And like I give a shat.
  5. When your character has so much power that the game is no fun, then you have too much power. In KotOR the game was really not a whole lot of fun, combat wise. It was downright boring because your character has so much power that none of the battles were all that interesting or challenging. Completely unfun. KotOR 2, from what people are saying, seems to follow the same vein of being unfun.
  6. Yes. Does he reply? Very rarely.
  7. It only works if the person wants to be ressurected.
  8. Normally I use the play lists that I used to inspire the campaign and events going on. I shift the playlist depending on the story that I am preparing for. There is however one song that always seem to pop up at tense moments of battle for some odd reason, without any manipuation by me and its always on the list once, and I do have it on random play. It opens up with great electric violin solo withthe lyrics: Kill! Kill! Kill! Die! Die! Die! Die!
  9. That was very funny. Kudos to the one who did that. :D
  10. Its not a CRPG, so I'll pass.
  11. If Fallout 3 is not up to my specifications on what a Fallout game will be I will get it on the day that I get Troika's Vampire game.
  12. Where's you proof of that? Did I buy Fallout Tactics? Nope. Did I buy FOPOS? Nope. Show me the evidence of that statement. Do you have some sort of mystical time machine?
  13. Well, I rather be playing a Obsidian original than a Bioware castoff.
  14. If it doesn't follow the rules of SPECIAL and doesn't have the same style oand nuance of Fallout, then it will be crap.
  15. That would be cool. If Bethesda does do the smart thing and contract out Fallout 3 to Obsdian I would be a happy camper and I don't even like camping.
  16. If people can use it against me I can use it against others. Actually I am looking for maps of Neverwinter so I can get a proper rendering of the city with the toolset. I got one of Luskan and Waterdeep, but the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas doesn't have one of Neverwinter, which kind of sucks.
  17. Damn, that is a nice break down.
  18. Since Obsidian, namely Feargus, owns the art assets of the Fallout games, except FOPOS, does that mean Bethesda has to pay Obsidian now to use any art assets of the previous games and if so could he use that as a leverage against Bethesda to make sure the game is done right?
  19. Thats a good rundown Stargate, but you should do it like the Olympics. Drop the highest score and the lowest score then put in the average.
  20. Welll, Poo, if you don't like his art and think that he is a talentless boob, lets see you do better. I mean, just beacuse he wanted to share something withthe community here is no reason to attack him. Positive encouragement goes a long way.
  21. Does that mean Bethesda will not be doing Fallout 3? I hope so. EDIT: I guess not. I hate the fact that those buggers have Fallout.
  22. I am currently playing in a campaign using Monte Cook's Arcana Unearted, though the DM made some major revisions. I am playing a Mage Blade. A Mage Blade, due to my friend's rewriting, uses Arcane Battle Feats and gains a bonus feat of that type every odd level instead of casting spells.
  23. Depends on what type of character I am making. I usually have a 14 strength to start off with in a combat monkey build. 12 if more combat dexterity build. If I am going for the non-combatant type I leave it at 8.
  24. Well, my favorite setting is my own, which I dubbed Concrete Kingdom. Some of the material is based off an old Billy Idol albumn called Cyberpunk. It is a mixture of science fiction and fantasy and it has gone through many incarnations. It Started as GURPS, then to Cyberpunk 2020, then FUZION, tried it baseline d20 System and finally settled on d20 Modern.
