  1. Best game ever status, from me, comes from the emotional attachment to Aerith. The CG movies and music probably were a big help in that, such as in the introduction and her death scene.
  2. I honestly can't say what endings I consider the worst. I've become numbed to endings that don't fit my tastes. Only games I can say for certain I didn't like are the ones that are basically not there. KOTOR 2. Any other game I could try to claim had a bad ending, I'd probably be more voicing my opinion of the overall story. X3 Reunion's ending wasn't "bad" but it made me sad because I wanted it to continue. Games with endings I definitely liked - FF VII, Unreal II, Suikoden II (there were three endings, the ultra bad ending was the best!), Dreamfall These are just the ones that standout for me.
  3. I lived on Bria. From the moment I saw Uzzitzilaz, the first Jedi, dueling in a Coronet starport, I knew I had to exterminate every last one of them.
  4. Doesn't that help put to use the Sense Motive skill in the case of lying?
  5. This is my criticism, too. But for different reasons. Do not, ever, under any circumstance, name any project anotherproject-like, for the love of god! As for next-gen. Isn't that a buzz phrase meaning "creates an experience, either visually or through gameplay, on next generation consoles that was not possible on previous consoles?"
  6. YOU SIR ARE DEAD TO ME! Unreal II is one of the game's that actually has caused me to almost cry. The ending was powerful. Along with Suikoden V and FF VI. FF VII and Suikoden II being the two games that actually did make me cry.
  7. Yes, but only if and not a way to obtain any sort of reasonably "meaningful evil." Only a cheap imitation of chaotic evil with no greater cohesion.
  8. Stereotyped chaotic evil, maybe. Killing other team members just weakens the group as a whole.
  9. You can have quality followers of evil, as long as they're not just "followers." Even evil characters can team together for joint benefits.
  10. I cannot recommend The Prestige enough. I still need to see United 93 Thank You for Smoking Inconvenient Truth
  11. Sometimes I miss this game. Living at the Blueleaf Temple. Joining guilds to kill the leaders' Jedi. Sending my pet droid onto rooftops to kill AFK Jedi. Waiting in the nearest cloner for that Jedi to rez, so I can kill him again. Going to a hidden Jedi town to kill a Jedi, killing a Jedi, then realizing it was the wrong Jedi. Good times.
  12. I enjoyed Achebe's Things Fall Apart. The thing about Catcher in the Rye is that there's a giant government conspiracy behind it. troof
  13. OH GOD, NO! This must be a bad dream. Somebody wake me up!
  14. Coruscant is way too metropolitan for the design of SWG. The game can't even do Corellia decently. 3 or 4 cities and then empty space (then the player made cities). Coruscant is just one giant city. It would fry their servers.
  15. Took a break from Suikoden V for Sam and Max Episode 1 - Culture Shock (replay) and Episode 2 - Situation: Comedy (available publicly today). Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
  16. I can't help but think of Outlaw Star just a little everytime I watch the Firefly pilot. Girls in boxes.
  17. Saw Children of Men. Typical Dystopia. The world is going to ****, the people of the world are going to ****. Everyone is dying or succumbing to despair, often both. But, there's a glimmer of hope we're going to lead you to and then just drop you off at to leave the rest to your imagination. Good movie, nontheless.
  18. Sent a support e-mail to get my order code from when I purchased Episode 1. Got a reply back within 15 minutes. Upgraded to the full season. Played Episode 2 for a while. Went to the movies. Finished Episode 2. Both the service and the main course were terrific. I give this restaurant 3 thumbs up.
  19. I just watched the Death Note movie. Pretty good if you're a fan. I don't like the way this Ryuk convulses when he laughs, though.
  20. http://www.machinima.com/films.php?id=231 Part 1 with links to the other parts.
  21. Definitely.
  22. Ergo Proxy is a cyberpunk thriller. The world has ended, the earth is no longer suitable for human life. Those that live there, mostly live in large sheltered domes. One such dome is Romdeau. R-il (Lil or Real depending on sub) Mayar is the grandaughter of the leader of Romdeau. She works hunting down infected autoraves (androids). Vincent is an immigrant to Romdeau. He does menial work, I don't recall what exactly. I don't want to spoil too much, but the plot follows these two characters' pursuit of the truth behind Proxies. A type of large humanoid creature (meta-human/super-human/whatever) that they are both introduced to.
  23. They were still on the job. You told them to abandon their duties and get drunk. You don't think that's a little chaotic?
  24. I believe you and I may be the only ones who like Tron 2.0. And I couldn't even play it through a second time because the level design is sometimes horrible. I got stuck running around in circles looking for the path.
  25. Care and nurture is simple? Spoken like a true man!
