Not coming to the PC. Seems to be the first Civ game with Meier as the design lead since the original. I guess that explains the different focus from IV. I hope Civilization V is on the board. With Soren Johnson. There's actually some parts of Revolution I'd like to see in a Civ V. Mainly armies.

You've never watched Macross before, have you? The villain of Macross Plus was an AI pop musician. The multiple series have constantly been about love and the power of music (also robots) I believe Macross 7 was literally about a rockband that fought aliens with music weapons, even. Frontier is one series I'm definitely looking forward to hitting the states. I'm still watching Dragonball Z. Just about done with Frieza Saga.

I played Civilization: Revolutions demo earlier. It was good, but I much prefer Civ 4. Religion seems to be a near non-issue. No dealing with workers or tile improvements that I can see. And I didn't see a single city improvement with a drawback. But the graphics are much nicer. And combat is streamlined (for good or bad) with decent improvements. Don't know if I'll get it, but it's worth checking out the demo.

They'll have to do something other than an MMO. They've got until 2017 to exploit the license and I don't see them just producing a bunch of MMOs to fill up that timespan.

Something revolutionary has to be radically new. Not just new. Nor does getting a lot of hours out of something qualify it as revolutionary.

I've already established that it's going to be useless to me. But what makes another useless thing preferrable? If I do buy some P&P books that I'll never ever use, why that one? At least D&D has some familiarity for me. I've read a number novels and played several games that were based on the Forgotten Realms part of it.
