My next run is going to be a 8 Charisma "Bail, Jim Bail" superspy. I'm looking forward to it. With the silenced .22. Guns, Speech, Sneak.

Because you don't need them? Most terminals I've found have only required 25 science, most locks only 25 lockpicking. Most times that they don't, there's alternate ways around them.

I've found 3 or 4 skillbooks. Only one wasn't owned. :'(

You and I most definitely have different definitions of the word weird.

Stat checks don't show up unless you pass, unlike skill checks. There are probably a ton, but you'll never notice if you don't have the score. I'm running through with a Charisma of 3.

I agree. Despite all the claims of bugs, it also seems the most polished to me. No despawning enemies when loading a save. No "I can't get into Moira's hideout" or "the conversation with the hags drops because I don't have Gann." It's also the most functional Bethesda Gamebryo release I've played. I haven't gotten locked into a Vault, found dead named NPCs below a ledge, or gone to a quest target with no update. *sniffle* I miss having to go into the toolset to find workarounds for quest/game breakers.

That's your wild wasteland perk kicking in with an encounter that wouldn't normally be there. Ahh. Thank you. The name wasn't Drew. It was Owen. Owen and Beru. Hit level 12 last night. Completed the Vault 22 quest as level 10, turned it in, and went 3/4ths the way through 11 on that turn-in. Did the nearest quest which was just talking to people and hit 12. 2 levels in 30 minutes, nice. Can't wait to hit 14 for Jury Rigger.

Fun bug I encountered. Apparently part of the reason I have so much weight is that my armor is stacking. Only way I found this out was by dropping my armor. Then I find I still have armor. I drop it again and it's still there. One more time and I'm done! There were three things of armor in my pack. Stacked and they simply don't seperate. I was wearing them all. Too bad the DT didn't stack. Two were at full condition, the third was at partial because it seemed to be the top layer and took the damage. If I put them back in my inventory, they start stacking and disappearing again, while still contributing weight. Oh, and I think I'm in "save overwrite" territory right now. I'll know for sure when I get home. When I started saving last night, my save numbers dropped by 30. I made double sure to save repeats before I ended the game just so I had a higher save number than my old saves. I don't want to lose my progress.

I could swear it's fixed broken limbs. Surprised me, too. May just be my faulty memory, though.

I don't know if it's a glitch, but I don't need to go to the doctor. I just rest. I'm thinking it might be the canteen.

we have to at first I got so tired running around Goodsprings that now I'm abusing the fast travel fuction. I just pretend I'm on a motorcycle It's just that I find myself loading up all my food from my house, zipping to goodsprings to cook it, zipping back. Oops, I have weapons to sell. Zip back to good springs, sell it, zip back to store what I didn't sell, zip off to another part of the map to ADVENCHA

The engine is part of the game. I don't care how much it's known that game X is getting released on the pong engine, it's still going to get a low score because the pong engine is outdated. That said, I don't mind the graphics at all. They may remind me of Source, but at least it's not plasticy like half the engines claimed to be good looking out there. In other news... Anyone avoiding fast travel? I find myself using it alot since hardcore isn't as hardcore as thought. I'm going to try to break the habit tonight.

That's completely seperate, as the achievement system predates the cloud system. And more games have achievement support than cloud support.
