  1. I don't normally link CRACKED, but when I do, it's to gush over Half-Life.
  2. I liked Dragon Age 2. I want to say I loved it. I really did love what they did with gameplay. And how encounters are handled. People hate the wave setup, but I thought it made encounters more interesting and kept me on my toes. On the other hand, Act 3 makes me want to call a box of kittens bad names. Those poor kittens. I won't go into details about what is so bad about Act 3. I was a broken enough record when the game was released.
  3. I swear, every time I restart Skyrim, I get a better Axe of Whiterun. 1) Steel Axe with Soul Trap 2) Steel Axe with Absorb... I don't remember. 3) Orcish Axe with Absorb something 4) Orcish Waraxe with Absorb Health
  4. I still want a Pretty Princess RPG.
  5. Kind of late there, buddy.
  6. You have got to be kidding me Microsoft is changing the 360 dashboard, again. This is how many times, now?
  7. Previously on MYSR Liam Neeson has had an awkward career and the Russians and Danes like to share movie titles. Anyone seen Troll Hunter? The local blockbuster doesn't carry it and asking them about it just got me sidelined into renting Attack The Block.
  8. Past 500. Starting up a new one.
  9. The Russian one. I have no idea what you're talking about for the first part of your post.
  10. Rented and watched Night Watch last night. Plot was fairly good. I like it enough to want to rent Day Watch. The cinematography (I guess, it's what I'll blame) was wretched at times. But passable for the most part. They have very few action scenes, but they're impossible to follow.
  11. There was a sequel to Alice, recently. And a rerelease of the original with support for new resolutions.
  12. I wouldn't call it piracy. But it's still illegal. In the United States, it's a DMCA violation. As I understand it, there's similar laws in effect for all WIPO member countries. But I'm not a lawyer.
  13. Lucasarts was distributing a new pressing of KOTOR 2 not that long ago. You may even find it on shelves right now, in fact. So them having something against the game doesn't strike me as true. There may be some technical issues relating to it. Valve does turn down games, even from known publishers and franchises, on technical grounds. Just try to find the second Splinter Cell game. But 1, 3, 4, and 5 are all there.
  14. Maybe it's not a remake of Verhoeven's Starship Troopers. But a faithful adaption of Heinlein's.
  15. Finished Gemini Rue. Pretty good story. Has some silly pixelhunting and a bit too much backtracking. I don't think there's a logical reason to treat the toilet lid as distinct from the toilet if the toilet itself has no use. Given that it took me forever to figure out the lid is only a couple pixels higher and does have a use. Now to figure out what to play next. Top of the list are: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Dead Space 2 Catherine LA Noire Bastion Neverwinter Nights 2 Avadon The Black Fortress
  16. Saw Devil. Could have satisfied as a Sci-Fi original. Completely shallow cast, no development, and the only guy who we're remotely likely to give a flip about isn't in any danger at all.
  17. Just finished Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Seemed a cash-in installment. I was afraid Brotherhood was going to be that, but it ended up coming across as a sequel. It really pushed the story forward, introduced notably gameplay revisions. This one had hookblade and den management. That's about it. And nothing really added to the story.

Heck, I thought it a blast solo. And I generally don't go for loot driven games.
  19. I want to play as Oracle.
  20. Wow, I felt the complete opposite. It was really frustrating playing as Catwoman without the ability to zip up to rooftops and glide along. Grabbing the attention of every thug along the way. And no way to quickly escape from guys with guns.

I wanted to get the DLC for the 360, since that's where my save is. But this would save me some money.
  22. I always took it as leaning to the left.
  23. That's a fantastic image. I mean that.
  24. Catwoman is the new copy content. You know the industry trend to have content only available to new copy purchasers? That. If you buy used, then you have to pay more for it. Anyway, playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. Doesn't feel like there's much in improvement over Brotherhood. The den defense missions, hookblade, and more guild management don't hook me in it. Glad it's Ezio's last, they need major changes or refinements to sell me the next installment.
  25. There was a box? It was DVD case from the start here (KOTOR1 too). Also 4 Discs instead of 1 DVD even if it was totally the rule here in Europe. :/ The US move from boxes to DVD cases was only about the past year or two. I know ya'll have been doing it a lot longer.
