I did something like this on my first playthrough. I saved after each good search and reloaded on bad searches: 1) the maximum number of searches per site is determined by your first search 2) you can save/load after each search ... this way you can get multiple magical items per site 3) you can get all sigil wardstones from burial sites except the wardstone of death 4) you can get magical weapons and non-magical brigandine/platearmor from battle grounds (even possible on Maje) 5) you can get spyglasses from shipwrecks (even possible on Maje) 6) I never ever encountered Bracers of Greater Deflection !!!

Can you stack Rings of Greater Regeneration? As you can get two of these in the game, do both work if you wear them together? (I ask this because until now some items with the same effect didn't stack - example: "Cloak of Greater Deflection" and "Bracers of Greater Deflection" ... but I haven't tried the rings)

Can someone confirm if "Nature's Resolve" (+10 Accuracy, +2 RES) is still available? In my current playthrough I can not get the mushroom on Tikawara ... the encounter always ends with a fight. Update6: Good Food, Better Friends (+2 CON, +5 All Defenses) no longer stacks with other food bonuses, it replaces them

Update3: some sigils still have damage immunities (like the one in Poko Kohara ruins) Update4: praying at a shrine does not remove resting bonuses ... I will add them to the list of bonuses >> only works for the shrine on Poko Kohara (gives +2 RES), the shrine on Neketaka island (gives +2 CON) still removes rest bonuses Update5: Quest "Dirty Laundry" and reforging the weapons still remove resting bonuses ... so do these first I update the full guide when I'm finished with my playthrough.

I currently play as Herald on PotD Solo (all Challenges activated) with Exalted Endurance, Mercy and Kindness, Ancient Memory, Life in Death, Ring of Greater Regeneration, a couple of other healing done bonuses and high defenses/armor. Most of the time nothing can touch you, but there are some encounters where your health can go down very quickly and you have to rely on health potions, Second Wind or Reforge the Flesh (from belt The Maker's Own Power). Conclusion: You can never have enough healing ... atleast on PotD difficulty mode. The most important thing is constitution resistance or better constitution immunity (just eat your Shark Soup ), as reduced healing from afflictions can be really bad.

I always upgrade to the Dhow first - its cheaper compared to buying upgrades to get the same benefits. Also you can train more crewman for their future role on your final ship. Later when money is no problem I upgrade to the Junk. Having some initial cannon fodder on your deck (like Birtha) helps in ship fights - especially if you do PotD Solo. I also noticed this. I thought this is tied to the Beraths Challenge under Magrans Fires, but it could also be a general issue. You can fix this by entering/exiting your ship after each battle. But this can also have issues - for example: Luca had an DoT on him after the fight and attacked me - I had to (temporarily) kill him to be able to exit.

found a way around it ... forgot there are multiple ways, but had to fight through the whole map in one combat Another issue with "no flee from combat": doing multiple ship fights (by boarding them) in a row does not replish your class ressources in between, you have to go the an area (or your ship) to have all ressources in your next ship fight.
-
Update: it seems the "no flee from combat" from Beraths Challenge wasn't tested ... in Hasango it seems that I trigger enemies in an area that is only accessible via door/stairs, but because I'm in combat I can not get there. This bug is reproduceable for me ... I need to test if I can sneak through this or if I must skip Hasango completely.

Obsidian owned by their own game mechanics once more. Next balance change, Chanters can only summon once per combat and if the summons get too far away they disappear. My herald is still alive. But I had to refrain from dual wielding and respecced for Sword + Shield ... this is much safer. The "no flee from combat" from Beraths Challenge is a big thing - often you need to clear a whole map/dungeon in one go. So builds based on active abilities without ressource generating mechanics have a hard time. But weapons with stacks that stay until end of combat like Modwyr really shine, as they are maxed out most of the time.

Patch Notes for 2.0.0

Update: this bug is fixed -
I started a new playthrough with Triple Crown (PotD + Expert Mode + Trial of Iron) + Solo (no companions) + Berath's Challenge (kill on knockdown, no flee from combat) + Magrans challenge (no pausing/slowing) as a Herald (Kind Wayfarer/Troubadour). Its harder than I thought (I had to restart once), but its still manageable. You have to make good AI settings, as there is no pausing. Also the "no flee from combat" from Beraths Challenge is really helpful for a Chanter, because combat does not end when you get out of sight of enemies. So you can just summon creatures and send them towards the enemy without risk for yourself. This helped me a lot in the dragon battle at the Ruins on Maje at the beginning of the game.

I'd like to know this as well. I think they are only shown in the Magran Fire menu ... "0/2 completed" should change after completeing them. As there is now a solo only challenge, are all solo bugs fixed? For example can you now get the second corrnet in the Old City (where you need to dive) as a solo player to open the hidden area in the Ondra temple? -
@Boeroer the link for "The Undying Titan" build is not correct (it directs you to the "The Intelligent Captain" build)
