Having played KotOR is a big help, but not essential. It does add more depth to the story and certain links in the quests, etc.

I remember there was a mod for JK2 multiplayer than enabled you to completely customize your lightsaber colour by changing the amount of red, blue and green on a sliding scale. Now that was an awesome tool. As far as KotOR and TSL go though, I use.... LS - Blue, Silver, Purple 'Neutral' - Silver, Purple DS - Red, Purple

PC version is out on the 11th in Britain from all Game stores.

What about item generation cheats?

I'm not really bothered bout when its released atm, as my gaming hard drive has gone and broken. I think someone's trying to tell me something.... However, my older brother (who is loaded) is giving me his computer :D 64-bit processor.... mmm....

INTJ - Mastermind. Did another test like this a while ago and got Mastermind on that aswell. Must be something to it afterall.

Lol. I think we can comfortably assume that the release date is Feb 11th for most of us Europeans. If not, then it will only be a few days behind, in which case go out and make up for the time you will spend glued to your computer.

In support of JTL the ship to ship combat is alright. But it wears thin once you've killed the same people over and over again and you've become such a good pilot its mind-numbingly easy. You no longer think about how you're going to win the dogfight, you're just waiting till you have won it. JTL is one of the better aspects of SWG but it still has many of the flaws (namely it becomes old very quickly).

Maybe its just me, but I don't think that is the scrolling text for the intro of Ep3. It doesn't have the same feel and its too short.

Anyone else here read the Tears of Artamon series so far?

I used to play Jedi Academy siege all the time. But the game got corrupted and I've been too lazy to reinstall it.

Stargate SG-1 all the way. The character interactions are a funny as hell most of the time and poignant when they need to be. Cliche at times, but thats the point. Great series. Watched it from the beginning, still a fan in the late single digits.

I have both and I regret it enormously. Galaxies has an enormous amount of potential, but is sadly lacking. The first week or so is fun as you go round exploring and encountering new things. This quickly becomes old, and in order to progress you must spend an enormous amount of time simply grinding. Sorry for the bad news.

The following post is just my personal opinion, so its obviously not law or the word of god or anything: Star Wars Galaxies is a waste of time and money. The idea behind it is great and has an enormous amount of potential. Sadly this has not been capitalised on. Galaxies reverts into endless, mind-numbing grinding. Your skill matters not at all, only how much you go on the internet and how little of a life you have. Just my opinion, but I feel I have to put it forward if it will stop people being as disappointed as I was.

Some fantastic bands there Off The Wall (the world's No.1 tribute band to Pink Floyd) were in my town a month ago. I couldn't get tickets Heartbreaking...

Lol, I lived in Mexico for a while, right in Mexico City. The police were worse than the gangsters :D You'd walk down the street and there'd be gangsters having a shootout in the street, and the police holding up a liqueur store :D

Being part english-spanish-italian I can testify that you learn the 'received pronunciation' equivalent of any language unless you learn from the people themselves. Received pronunciation english is the dated BBC form, with no trace of idiolect or idiosyncratic language.

First time through I'll go without cheats. Once I've done that I'll consider using cheats for items like robes and sabers, etc.

This would be fantastic news for me except for one thing... My main hard-drive, and the one I use for gaming has gone caput and I need a new one. And I'm all but skint. My luck stinks.

My advice: don't waste your time on Star Wars Galaxies in particular. Your skill as a player matters not at all, just how much time you spend grinding exp, and how little of a life you have.
