I've heard nothing but good things about Disco Elysium and if it wins RPG I'll be OK with that. If anything other than that or Outer Worlds wins I'll... I dunno, quietly disagree I guess, they're just popularity contests.

You certainly are out of the loop, yes. Another loop you appear to be out of is that Obsidian had no input on the decision to be EGS (and Microsoft Store) exclusive for 12 months, so you're complaining on the forums of the wrong company.

Like I said, not many videos. But since we've been informed that every character looks like a lesbian, and lesbians are women, we can safely deduce that all the characters are women. QED.

They look like women. I haven't watched that many of the videos, but I can only assume that there are almost no male characters. Bold choice.

I don't think that's what was being said. I think the point was just that whereas Bethesda tends towards somewhat binary choices, Obsidian tends to have more nuance. (And also better writing.)

I think the overall point of the video is that the Xbox One has little to no exclusives that won't also come out on PC, and what exclusives it does have aren't as compelling as the exclusives available on PS4 and Switch.

Personally not a fan but here's a pro: it allows you to play some games.

Wizardry 8. It's actually a very different type of game from what I think The Outer Worlds will be, but it has the distinction of being my co-favourite RPG with a game that I am hoping The Outer Worlds bears some similarities to: Alpha Protocol.

As far as The Outer Worlds is concerned, Microsoft is not the publisher.

Demo is short and rough but extremely promising. I will be keeping an eye on this.

I don't remember either of them saying that was the reason they wanted their own IP, and I don't believe even slightly that that was their main motivation. The reason they wanted to be bought by a publisher was for financial stability. They wanted to be able to keep all of their employees employed and not have to worry about needing to lay people off (again) because a project got cancelled. In your later paragraphs you appear to be directing blame Obsidian's way for the current store situation of The Outer Worlds. This is misguided; this was 100% a Private Division decision.

This decision had nothing to do with Obsidian.

OK first of all I have never cuckolded a chair, you take that back right away. Second of all, it's due out on 25 Oct 19, but not on Steam. 25 Oct 20 on Steam. Some people are upset about this.

This game is done, dude. They're just bugfixing now. It's coming out in like two months.

Swap the 'C' out for a 'U' and you could have STUPID. Checked out thesaurus and all I could find was 'urbanity' for 'charm'.
