Mandalorian's: Something the Chronicles leave out
Darth Nuke replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Your point? Obsidian is continuieing KOTOR, therefore they should continuie it's continuity. Especially concidering Bioware people were working on this game. Mandalore returned in KOTOR in mention but he still returned. This was IN GAME continuity forgotten by Bioware. -
Where do you pick up new party members?

Only problem is that there is supposed to be a Mandalore already around my the time of KOTOR. Also according to Akari, Mandalore wants something, that's why he's with you. -

Mandalorian's: Something the Chronicles leave out

What I meant is that in KOTOR the part that Says a Mandalore was around, was not part of any Star Wars EU that was non-game. That part was created by the game itself. Meaning that Obsidian couldn't even keep IN GAME Continuity straight. -

Mandalore probably comes looking for the PC personally so he could be on any of the Planets. So It's hard to guess, if Mandalore(the Planet) was in the game then it would be positive guess that he would be there. -

but it's kinda bad not to stick with actual IN GAME Continuity. This isn't EU continuity this stuff was created from KOTOR. -

Canderous being Mandalore is one of the biggest cliche's ever. I mean come on, the guy isn't even worthy of being a Mandalore, and surely not worthy to rule a race, much less an army. They should have just stuck with the Mandalore from KOTR(AND HE WAS A MANDALORE), but that show's the even some people can't get continuity right in their own games. -
I would say Thrawn was more of the character that brought the Empire together. Yes when Pal, the Empire was weakened. Then enteres Thrawn who makes them strong again. Not to mention that when Pal returned, he never had the power he once did.

Um, yeah they are

Plot question of the day: WHY TARIS!?
Darth Nuke replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Or perhaps there was a fleet like the scrowl says, all the other ships were destroyed, and the only ship that was central to the plot was shown. -

Yes, and Prime suspect for the biggest cliche i the game. I say he's under Mandalore's command and that's his cameo. -

Well all of my stuff came from the comics themselves, so some of what you wrote is wrong. Aleema Contacted Mandalore, he never saw Ulic. Also Aleema and MAndalore's forces went back to the Empress Teta System first, then Mandalore left to tell Exar on Yavin. Oh, and the Krath retreat because Aleema wanted them to, so that she could be ruler of the Krath. -
Mandalore, knowing his Warriors need another Crusade, attacks the 7 worlds of the Empress Teta System. It is an attempt to gain the eye of a worthy opponent known as Ulic Quel Droma. An Attempt which is successful. Mandalore's forces cripple a smelting Platform in Space, and Ulic watches as it falls from orbit and smash's into a city, killing thousands. Not Long After Mandalore is contacted by Ulic, and Mandalore challenges him to battle on the Plains of Kuar, a base planet for the Mandalorian Armies. A great Battle is faught between the Grand Mandalorian Warrior and the SITH lord, but in the end Ulic is victorious. Instead of Death Mandalore is shown mercy and freely gives loyalty to the Great warrior who has beaten him. Together Mandalore and Ulic win many battles, and they both participate in the Battle of Coruscant. At the beginning the attack is successful, and Mandalore and Ulic seperate. Ulic goes for the War room, and Mandalore heads to the Weapons depot hoping to make use's of new Republic toys. As Mandalore makes his way through the depot, he is contacted by Aleema, who says that Ulic has been killed, and that he is to retreat. Mandalore has no choice but to obey, and retreats with Aleemas forces back to Yavin. It is not long that Mandalore learns that instead of Death, Ulic has only been captured. He suspects Aleema's treachery, and confronts her. He ask her why they aren't making plans to free Ulic, but Aleems brushes them aside believing that if she makes Mandalore her new War commander, he would take power over loyatly. She is wrong. Mandalore goes to Exar Kun on Yavin for help in freeing Ulic, Exar agrees. In a stunning display of power and courage Exar and Mandalore walk in on the Senate during the trial of Ulic. Once freed, Mandalore tells Ulic of Aleema's ploy, Ulic agrees and has already taken plans to get his vengences on his beloved. Mandalore's next mission is Onderon. He is to take the planet in the name of Ulic Quel Droma. Who is attacking Ossus with a squadron of Mandalorians. The Battle of Onderon is a tuff one, as the Basilisk War droids and Beast of Onderon go against each other in the sky's above. The Battle is even, and could have been won, but the Republic has already sent reinforcements. Outnumbered and outgunned Mandalore and his warriors make for the Moon Duxn. There, Mandalore's Basilisk is shot down. Mandalore is soon killed by the Evil beast of Duxn. His Mask is later found by another Mandalorian, who knows the Tradition must conintuie, he is the NEW MANDALORE.

The Chronicles are not in the right time frame...
Darth Nuke replied to Fettforce88's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It already should have been written. Mandalore and Ulic BOTH attack Coruscant together. Most summaries ALWAYS leave out the Mandalorian part, why I don't know. I mean for some reason the Krath are given more references, yet the Mandalorians in the Sith War comics had a way bigger part then them. And since they forgot it, I'll write it instead. Actually there was no Offer made by Ulic to Mandalore in the Sith War comics.

Can KOTOR2 beat Halo2 in sales?
Darth Nuke replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't agree with that. Try playing Halo 1 on legendary, then you'll find yourself having to think, and think a lot. -
I think there have been a few previews that have already said that we WILL see Hk-47 again, Alive and well, in the game. So I wouldn't take this rumor to heart.

Mandalore is definately Canderous!
Darth Nuke replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Did Ulic become Mandalore when he defeated him, NO. Did Revan become Mandalore when he killed Mandalore, NO. The Mask makes you Mandalore, and Revan never had the Mask. The Mask passed on to the Mandalore in KOTOR, and he ruled the Mandalorians. Revan is just Revan, not the Lord of Mandalore. -
Mandalore is definately Canderous!
Darth Nuke replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There is some debate as to what that statement meant. What was said is that "the crew is all dead." Some people think that the crew being referred to is the second crew that was on the ebon hawk with your new character in K2, and not the original crew from the K1 game. Also, one thing that could explain how canderous became Mandalore: We know that some characters can only joing your party based upon your alignment correct? Well suppose if you say that Revan went LS, Candy did "retire" like he talked to you about doing. If you say that Revan went DS, however, things change. Remember, Candy swore to follow Revan anywhere. What if when Revan fell again, she/he (who technically was Mandalore. I think the rule is if you kill the current one, you gain the title) gave the title to Candy, effectively "crowning " him as the new leader. He then swears the loyalty of the Mandalorian Remanant to Revan (who wouldn't want them on their side? Even diminished as they are, in the hands of such a brilliant military leader as Revan, they'd be a formidible force) for the upcoming war using the lure of the glory of battle, regaining their former strength, and claiming revenge on the Republic to spur them on. This could explain how Candy becomes Manadalore, even though he talked about getting tired of fighting. He did it because Revan asked him to. Then when Revan went poof or whatever he just kept the title, feeling an obligation to his people. What do ya'll think? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there is no rule that says when if you kill a Mandalore, you become a Mandalore. Your theory is mute anyhow, because there was already a Mandalore KOTOR. -
The Tubes are connected to his Mask, so if they are connected to him in space, then they are connected to him on the ground. <_< Those tubes allow him to fight on his basilisk in space.

Also I don't know if they have them at this time, but Mandalorians used to have a thing called a Crush Guant that they would use to increase their Arm Strenght.
