Mandalore was a title in existence way before The Sith War Comics. Mandalore's had been around or years. Yet it is true, there was once a guy named Mandalore who conquered a Planet and sector whom he would call the Mandalore Sector. Canderous is NOT MANDALORE. A MANDALORE IS ALREADY BEEN ESTABLISHED IN KOTOR, AND IT PROBABLY THE SAME ONE WE SEE IN THIS GAME. Mandalore is the Leader of ALL Mandalorians. So when the Dev said THE, he was making it known that this is the LORD OF ALL MANDALORIANS.

When the Mandalore in the Mandalorian Wars was killed by REVAN, another took his place. In KOTOR there was another Mandalore already behind the scene's. HK-47 faught him and was defeated, and he also was the one who sent the Mandalorain to Kashyyk. It's in the game, go check. Canderous is not this Mandalore, he may FOLLOW this Mandalore, but he is not the Lord Mandalore. Canderous told the PC the truth from a CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW. A Mandalore did die in the Mandalorians War's, but another rose. So for the past 7 or 8 years, another Mandalore has already been in exsistence.

then what becomes of the Mandalore already risen after the Mandalorian Wars. I highly Doubt Candy is the Mandalore, perhaps he has gone back to his Master and that's his Cameo Role.

I do have one complaint the Mask is supposed to be red. http://thunder.prohosting.com/~spiff/Mandalore.jpg Yet, Obsidian caught the shape of the mask very well. All he's missing is the two symbols on each side of the Mask, and it's complete.

Man how I hope we get to see some actual Basilisk fighting in a space Battle. Be sweet if Mandalore breaks away from the party and becomes a NPC, so we can see him fight upon his Basilisk in the final space battle(if there is one)

Those tubes are used quite simply, they allow him to fight in open combat in space on his Basilisk.

Those breathing tubes allow him to fight in open combat in space. This Mandalore isn't the one Revan Killed, it's a new one. Most likely the one who owned HK-47.

BECAUSE MANDALORE IS A TITLE. Mandalorians understand that there must always be a leader, so once a Mandaloer dies, another takes his place. Mandalore is not Candyman, Mandalore is MAndalore. He's Probably the same Mandalore who was rebuilding his armies in KOTOR 1, behind the scenes. Why he joins you now is up for debate. I guessing you will have to fight him, and if defeated he will pay his, and his armies loyatly to you.

Its been said several times .. but Mandalore is just a title! so when you kill the present Mandalore a new leader arises and claims the title .. If there are any mandalorians left that is! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> According to Canderous and Jagi there are. Canderous says that the Mandalorians went back to the outer rim, where the MAndalorian Sector is located. Jagi even goes as far as saying that there are still clans left. Which is interesting, because this proves the Mandalorian hide their strenght, and their power. Canderous said Mandalore was dead, but HK faught the present Mandalore who was major alive. Canderous also said that the Clans were over, yet Jagi says there are some left, not mentioning other Mandalorians who went home. So I'd say there a many,many,many left. Oh and to stay on topic: Mandalore.

This whole Mandalore thing has my mind wondering. It would be cool if Mandalore tells the PC that his armies are at the PC's service. Then like at the end of the game, if there's a fleet Battle, the Mandalore's forces join the battle on Basilisk War Droids. You can decide also which side they help, depending on Dark Side or lightside status.

But then again a fight may not be needed. The Mandalorians honor Revan, and so does Mandalore. Revan did kill Mandalore after all.

HE would have to be. This is a guy who became Mandalore because he's the best out of an entire Sector.

If it was guy who knew Canyman then it wouldn't be Mandalore. I wonder if the planet Mandalore is one of the planets now? The lord of Mandalore would be there. From what I can muster. If Mandalore is one of the Planets, the PC goes there to summon Mandalore for something. Perhaps both he and the PC face off, and Mandalore pays loyalty to the PC. Yet still not a good enough reason to leave his people.

IT's not Canderous or Cassus. There is already a Mandalore by the time of KOTOR, why he's with the Ebon Hawk and not rebuilding his sector is beyond me. Though it could be perhaps that Obsidan forgot that a Mandalore was already established in KOTOR 1. I have to remind a dev of such a thing about a month back, who didn't understand that regardless of the intentions a New Mandalore was created. This worries me a little, because Obsidian is no longer portraying a long Mandalore warrior, they are now portraying the Leader of the Entire Mandalorians Race.

Question for the Devs. Is there some great reason why Mandalore is hanging out with Republic scum, and not building his armies? Oh, and the Mandalore Mask is Red, not Silver. In any account this is cool, because I will get to play as Mandalore and see him make an Appearance as the leader of the Mandalorians in the Clone Wars as well(hopefully). Yet this does worry me to an exstent. Mandalore is a very special character to portray. A character like Canderous, is just another Mandalore warrior, who has the ability to change because he isn't the most special of the Mandalorians. Mandalore isn't someone who changes. He loves a few things, and that's his people,honor, and glory. This guy rules and entire sector of Mandalorians, a sector whom which he now has to rebuild. I just don't see the reason why the Lord of the Mandalorians is traveling with the crew of the Ebon Hawk, and not saving his people. Not to mention he's the best of the Mandalorians. I just want him portrayed well, and not just as some regular Mandalore Warrior.

This is freaky. He must be the dumbest Mandalore Alive. He's got to build armies and Clans, but instead he's hanging out with Republic scum. From what I can figure this chracter became Mandalore when I told one of the Devs he was still around.

Where has it been said if it's Mandalore or not? The True Lord of the Mandalore wears a RED MASK, it can disconnect frm the actual Helmet. This Dude does where a helmet much like the Mandalorians in the Sith War, but I don't believe he is the Mandalore. I highly doubt the leader of the Mandalorians is alone and helping out some Republic scum. In KOTOR he was rebuilding the armies and testing new Jedi Weapons, not to mention he beat down HK. Mandalore has other things to do.

Kinda, for me. It's a sequel, but more of it's own game. A true Sequel for me would be continuieing the adventure of Revan and crew.

Actually Vader trained Lumiya is the ways of the Sith, hoping she would kill the Emperor. Lumiya never got the chance, but with Vaders and Pal's death she is now the Dark Lady of the Sith. She's in the process of building a new order, and were last seen during the NJO period. In any account Vader and Pal didn't kill everyone who was a force user. Palpatine had many Hands: Mara Jade, Jerec, Sedriss, just to name a few.
