I don't know, what I do know is that because of my rantings on the Valley in KOTOR the PC version at least got seperated tombs.
-
And they are all continuity. Bioware doesn't take continuity into it's hands andf change it. The Valley is wrong, that's all there is to it.
-
But that's the way Marka Ragnos looks. That is his continuity ghost form used by all of LFL except Bioware.
-
But the Valley still wrong. If a game with a must smaller engine like JA can make a right VOTDL then so can KOTOR 2.
-
IT doesn't MATTER, that is the Valley of the Dark Lords. You can make that Valley look cool, dark a moody. Remember Marka Ragno's tomb in KOTOR, the little maze in that one big building. Look at the pic at the top of the page on the lin. You'll see a tomb in the shape of a person sitting down, THAT IS MARKA RAGNOS TOMB.
-
No,no, the Valley is wrong. The one from KOTOR 1 isn't right, the same one they used from KOTOR 1 and used for KOTOR 2 isn't right. They are both wrong. http://thunder.prohosting.com/~spiff/Korriban.html The True Valley of the Dark Lords is in those pics.
-
Yay, Korriban's back, it's dark and moody, YAY. Tell me one thing thought, why does the VALLEY OF THE DARK LORDs in KOTOR look the same in KOTOR 2? IT's WRONG. Why use a concept that is wrong?

A lot of stuff is made up by Fans, but I'm not one of those fans. I'm the most knowledgable fan you'll find on the subject. Info before Sith War. Mandalore conquers a Planet in the far outer rim and names it after himself. He would later conquer planets outside the Mandalorian system, that would one day become the Mandalore sector. I'll start with the Sith Wars. The Mandalore feels that his honorable people need a new crusade so he plans to attack the Empress Teta System so that he can go up against a worthy opponent known as Ulic Quel Droma. Mandalore attacks the ETS and then Challeneges Ulic to a fight to see who will get the Entire system. They fight on the plains of Kuar, a Mandalorian Base planet. There Ulic and Mandalore fight in a great battle, Mandalore loses. Instead of killing Mandalore Ulic decides to use him and his army. Together Ulic and Mandalore win many battles during the Sith War. Unfortunatly in one of the last battles of the Sith War(Onderon), Mandalore's forces were out numbered and Mandalore had to flee to the moon of Dxun. He was shot down and killed by the wild beast on the planet. Later when his MAndalorian Warriors searched for him, a lone Mandalore found his mask and continuied the Tradition, he became the new Mandalore MAndalorian Wars you already know. What you might not know is that when Mandalore died at the battle of Malchor V another took up the title and became Mandalore. This is proven from HK-47 story, that is unless HK was fought and lost to a ghost. 200 years before ANH the Mandalorians wipe out the Ithullan race 100 years before ANH, Durge kills a Mandalore. Durge his found and the Mandalorians get vengence for his deed. Some years before TPM, two Mercenary groups of Mandalorians split and become two groups known as the Peace keeper and the Death Watch. Jango fett would become part of the Peace Keepers under Jaster Mereel. Many battles were fought between the groups, but Jasters group came out no top, or so they thought. On a Mercenary mission the leader of the DW, Vizla, set a trap for the PK's and JAster was killed leaving Jango in charge of his group. Not long after Vilza would against set a trap for Jango causing the Jedi knights to attack and wipe out Jango's entire party. He was the last Mandalorian Merc. During the Clone Wars the Mandalorians of Mandalore fought for the Confederacy. There lastest battle took place on New Holstice. After the clone Wars, Palpatined enslaved the Mandalorians people, and used 212 of the last Warriors to do his bidding. In the end only 3 would survive, Fenn Shysa, Boba Fett, and Tobi Dala. Fett would go on to continuie his BH days, but Fenn and Tobi would return to MAndalore and try to save their people. 22 years later they would succeed with the help of Leia Organa, but Tobi would die in the process. A few years later the Mandalorians system would be attacked by the Nagai. Fenn the new leader of the Mandalorians, would seek help from the Republic. On Endor the Nagai made a surprise attack and Fenn and his Mandalorians would help evac the planet. When the war ended the Mandalorians went to help the now Good Nagai find a new home. Fenn and the Mandalorians of Mandalore haven't been seen since, but it's assumed not long after the nagai found a home, Fenn returned to free the rest of his sector from Imperial rule. Fenn might have had his own dealing with the Vong.

Hk-50? Interesting concept, a dumb one, but interesting. So T3-M4 and HK-50 not 47 are together and are the EH last remaining crew members. Yet what happened to HK-47? Did Revan have 2 HK's, or is HK-50 an upgrade of HK-47? Ya know if I didn't know that when I made my arguement on that fact of killing HK-47 being bad Idea, this article had already been created, I would say that they went back and made Hk-47..Hk-50 so they wouldn't kill off HK-47. Unfortunatly I can't take credit for that, but atleast I can always know I changed that damn Valley for the PC version, well I was responsible for it.

Which is kinda cool, because the writers didn't know they did this. Another Mandalore was created by accident, and fortunatly it doesn't mess with Continuity. Even help out What Canderous said about how maybe someday the Mandalorians would rebuild, which during KOTOR they are doing. -

No plot mess. HK was indeed built after the Mandalorian wars, and was sent to Mandalorian space during Malaks and Revans conquest days. What people don't know is that a Mandalore, isn't one man, who ever takes the mask becomes Mandalore. When Revan Killed Mandalore at the Battle of Malchor V, another took the Mask and became Mandalore. -
Perhaps the armored character is Cassus Fett
-
I thought Obisdian said that armored character was just a generic and was only there until they replaced him. He seems to have become a full fledge part of the party now, and is Mandalorian.

That's just prove's how badly this part would have been written. If he is trashed he still gets killed off, if he's left, if's he's shut down, anything. Which means he had no reason to be brought, only to die. You don't do that, it never works. It's like if Han had died in Jabba's Palace in ROTJ, it would have been the worst thing to happen in the entire movie. So I'm hoping these Droids get to come with you off the Ebon Hawk. IF not, then if there's a KOTOR 3, bring em back. -

It's just a feeling on how the article is written. For odd Reason HK comes off as a bad guy( he is anyway) for this first part, meaning he either attacks you or something else. Perhaps he does something heroic so that the party can escape. Either, if he does die, it's bad to kill a popular character like HK. So I hope I'm wrong. -

I think it's smart. Obsidian is trying to make their own game. What better way than to have a shocking fate for one of the main NPCs of the first game (and probably the most well-known by the casual fan) It allows Obsidian to say "This is our game and not Bioware's) and it sets the stage for some uneasiness regarding the fate of other NPCs from the first game. We'd be wondering: Are they gonna kill Bastila? Or Canderous? Or Carth? (Please?) Makes for some compelling storytelling, IMO. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have found that with killing main characters off early, is basis for bad writing. I've seen many movies that have done this, and all have failed. You don't kill a well known character early, later or near the end, fine, but not early. Not to mention that to kill off a character just so that you can prove that your making your own game, is bad writing from the start. -

For some reason I feel that they're trying to kill off HK. Which is something you don't want to do when making sequels, as has been proved with movies. -
"Darth Riven" is a production of another bunch of lazy guys: WOTC. These company invented Riven in the beginning of their activity in SW. It was a bug - one of many they have made. So don't try to defend KOTOR by giving an example of another bug made by another stupid company! Maybe you've heard of a little thing called "tempest feud" the most pathetic RPG scenario ever? WOTC.... The fact that WOTC devs were too lazy to explore EU and created some darth doesn't mean that bioeware is innocent. Besides Riven rapes also SW timeline. 30.000 years ago there were no dark lords. Dark Lords appeared after Great Schism of the Force 20000 years ago. Another mistake that strikes into real fans... "Living Force" campaign that introduced Riven is a real sh..t opinions are the same. This is what KOTOR says. And I see obvious lack of originality if they are the same as TIEs. KOTOR starships suck. Leviathan isn't so bad. I can live with him. But I can't stand republic cruisers copied from TPM republic cruisers... Ghost of Anakin: yes comics generally are less important that books. But GL is a god-creator of SW and if he participated in TOTJ production that means that TOTJ are somehow more important that Barbara Hambly's terrible novels... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You seem to forget that Rivan regardless of sucky storyline or WOTC bad research is still Canon. And as I also said LFL said Bioware could use the Darth Title.
-
"Bane of the Sith" explains how title "darth" appeared. It is bioware's laziness that they didn't make any effort to read this 6-page long shortstory and adapt KOTOR to EU. Why are you trying to excuse their slackness? Yes it could be explained the way you say, but it STILL SUCKS - if we have to invent such things like you make, only becouse morons that were responsible for the storyline were just too lazy to read stuff related to KOTOR times. And you know how long they were doing the storyline? 3 damn years. Enough time to explore this part of star wars and avoid any mistakes I guess. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Darth thing isn't Bioware's fault. LFL TOLD Bioware that the Darth title was used during the KOTOR era. Not to mention that a Darth before Bane lived, he was called Darth Riven and there was also a Darth Andeddu. Darth Riven was created way before KOTOR.
-
I hope this isn't true. Revan should have been the main character for all the games, like Katarn was for his games.
-
Mandalore isn't one man. Whoever wears the mask of Mandalore, becomes Mandalore. I like this concept it makes Mandalore like a Phantom, to his people he is many to the Galaxy he is one, a ghost.
-
One other thing. If the Mandalorian on Kashyyk was just saying the name in an honorable way, then it confuses me. He says the he obeys Mandalore, but feels testing the weapons on Wookies is dishonorable. Now it's either this Mandalorians is nuts, or talking to a ghost. For why would he have doubts from a guy who's dead, who sent them on this mission. And this Mission is after the Mandalorian Wars, and probably didn't begin until the KOTOR War because I doubt the Mandalorian had enough suppy to be there for 5 or 6 years. Days perhaps, maybe a few weeks, but not years. I mean if Mandalore is gone, why is he worring about it. No other group of Mandalorians in the game care, the do dishonorable deeds: Raid, become mercs, bounty hunters, this and that. Like I said intended or not, a Mandalore is back.
-
But intentions never show. George intended for Boba to die, that didn't happen. Mandalore is not one warrior, so what a Mandalore was killed by Revan. Another Mandalorian takes the Mask and becomes Mandalore, Revan doesn't know this. Clearly from the Datapad, another Mandalore has risen and begun making his own plans. Those Mandalorians on Kashyyk are on Mandalore's orders, not a dead man's. If the Kashyyk Datapad doesn't prove this, then HK-47 does. Revan was a Sith Lord when he sent HK into Mandalore space. When this stuff was written not everything was caught. Whether on purpose or not a new Mandaloer was written back in to continuity. This doesn't effect anything, it just proves another has risen. Canderous either doesn't know, or won't tell. I'd say the latter concidering I would keep the info of My race rebuilding a secret. Revan sent all the Mandalorians to the outer rim, which basically means he sent them HOME. The location of Mandalore, the Mandalore system, and the Mandalore sector is in the outer rim.

There were still Sith After the Exar Kun war. In the Clone War game it shows a picture of the past that has thousands of sith fighting the Jedi. Not to mention in the Sith War comics we only know what happened to 3 of the 20 Exar Kun had. I'm sure many of these Sith survived and went back home.
