idea for a good kotor 3 ideas
Darth Nuke replied to drsmartazze's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well if one thing is clear, KOTOR 3 should be the conclusion to the Revan vs Sith Era. The last KOTOR (for this era, not for the franchise) highly explosive as ROTJ was. And quite franckly with a very simple story, must like ROTJ. The enemy is the New Sith, which if you think about has been the true enemy all along, and should be pounded into the game as such. It's clear Canderous was talking about these SITH as the one who's gave the Mandalorians the offer, and as we all know from KOTOR 2 the True Sith is what Revan intended to stop all along. These TS have been looming in the backgroup, starting both the Mandalorian Wars and the JCW. Hoping to weaken the Galaxy so they can come forth again. The plot is simple take out the True Sith in one GAME. Which means we're looking at probably the largest battles in this era's history. Most likely the climatic battle between the Republic and Allied Force Fleets vs the Sith Fleets. The game will of course be leading to this confrontation, where is the Question. Coruscant perhaps? But Coruscant has seen so many battles above it's skys, does continuity really need another one? No doubt Coruscant is where the Sith will want to attack, and no doubt Coruscant should be in the game concidering it's importance and since this will be the end of this era. Another thing to look at is the ally for the Republic, which should be none other than the Mandalorians. They are a small force yes, but Canderous and the clans he's gotten back together have not yet ventured to Mandalore Sector where there might be plently Mandalorians, enough to help out the Republic against the Sith. Canderous was told to become Mandalore by Revan for a Reason, he wants the Mandalorians help against the Sith. Canderous shouldn't be a party member though, he is important as the Mandalore, and as such will be that leadership character. His role is to lead the Mandalorians into battle, not travel around the hawk, just like Carth is the leader of the Republic Fleets. Interesting that Both Canderous and Carth had strong words toward each other when they were just Mandalorian and Captain. Now they are Mandalore and Admiral, and it might just be that working together will send this sith threat back to they abyss. Anyway, this means that Mandalore(the leadership capital of the Mandalorians, which you'll find mentioned in many sources it's first being in Marvel, which is continuity) will have to be in the game. Be cool that when the Republic is in trouble during the final battle the Mandalorians arrive and perform a ride of the Roherim, or should I say Ride of the Mandalore into the Sith lines. But what other allies? The Hapans perhaps. I belive they are a 1000 years off from breaking their ties with the Galaxy, they have a powerful fleet to lend a hand. So this all means finding allies for this big huge battle to end all things is the plot; Star Maps, Jedi Masters, and now Armies. What is needed is the Senate. What is the Senate thinking about all this, should the PC have an effect on the Senate? Such things should be answered in the next game. Planets should be: Alderann, Hapes, Mandalore, Coruscant, True Sith Planet, Etc. They game should definitly do some nice tie ins to the Prequel and Old Trilogies, this would be the last game of the era and I'm sure those,"Movie Watchers", will want some tie ins while the EU people get all the rest of the goodies. -
When you go to Korriban and the computer inside the Academy says which Dark Lord isn't entombed on Korriban, it's not just one, but two who aren't entombed on Korriban. Both Nadd and Naga Sadow aren't on Korrbian. Naga has a memorial, but his body is on Yavin 4.

BOOKs are Canon, learn your EU. That is not a Basilisk War Droid, even from Canderous tales, it isn't. He said he rode a Basilisk into battle, on the outside, because that's the only way a Basilisk can be used. He rode it into battle, because a Basilisk is a beast. And I don't think they look silly I think they look bad ass, and are way more powerful then those fighters. Like I said that silly design could take out capital ships with one blow. Continuity will see that fighter as that silly design, this is just how it works when coming to continuity for LFL. Oh and that Sandcrawler someone was talking about above it find. This is 4000 years before the Sandcrawler from the movies after all.
-
Yet, it shows the Obsidian didn't do good research, and were careless. That fighter is NOT a Basilisk War Droid. There is no two ways around it. The question is why didn't obsidian take the time to create the BWD in the way it was supposed to look? It couldn't have been that hard. In any account that is NOT a Basilisk War Droid, and continuity will not see it as one.

Need Computer Spikes to help Mandalorians
Darth Nuke posted a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Is there anyway I can get more computer spikes to help the Mandalorians fix their relay station? I have 3, and as some might know I need 8. -
Well according to Canderous from KOTOR, his Basilisk Squad took out an entire Fleet in one battle, in little time to say the least. An alas another continuity ERROR. Well just like the Valley of the Dark Lords you have to pretend it looks like it should from TOTJ. I mean the way it was depicted in KOTOR they still looked like they did in TOTJ, because Candy said he rode his basilisk, into battle.

Comprehensive Sith Lords List
Darth Nuke replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Dont' forget Lumiya. According to LFL she is, as of now, the last remaining lord of the Sith. -
Umm... Darth Maul didn't have any dialogue... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually he does "At last we will make ourselves known, at last we will have our revenge." Or something to that effect, he says the line when he's talking to Palpatine atop the taris on Coruscant.

KOTOR III Tidbits !!!????
Darth Nuke replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There is no need for another PC character. Revan or the Exile is fine. -
Who Do You Think Should Make KOTOR III?
Darth Nuke replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'd like to see both do the story. But I'm worried about the next game regardless who does it. The story has grown complicated now, with this NEW THREAT. I see the KOTOR series as a possible Thrilogy but can all this stuff that has been told in both games be rapped up in the next? I mean this new threat(which i believe is True Sith or something) will only be the main enemy for ONE game. I just hope the next game is as Epic as Epic can be. -
So what old school music is in the game?

***UNOFFICAL KOTOR 3 WISHLIST***
Darth Nuke replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1. Return of Admiral Dodonna 2. better NPC interaction 3. A fleet battle 4.Alderaan 5. Black lightsaber crystal 6. Coruscant 7. A dead Carth 8. a Wedge type character 9. Senate interaction, of course this depends on Coruscants inclusion 10. A big AOTC type Ground battle this time perhaps 11. Revan as PC 12. A plot that isn't over the top Mandalorian Wishlist 1.Planet Mandalore 2. A RED MASKED Mandalore(as continuity says it should be) <_< 3. Member of the Shysa Clan( to tie in with Fenn Shysa, leader of the Mandalorians in post Galatic Civil War times EU) 4. Basilisk War Droids in battle -
I think Canderous should be like Carth was in KOTOR 2, a non playable character. Canderous is Mandalore now, he needs to lead the Mandalorians not follow other Jedi on damned crusades. Having Mandalore help out the PC is fine, like sending his small fleet to help the republic or sith. Other things NUKIE Wants. 1.Better NPC interaction. I hear KOTOR 2 isn't good with this, in terms of say Kriea or Altris having words. 2.A member of the Shysa clan should be in the next game. Fenn Shysa would be the leader of the Mandalorians post ESB, and as of right now still is. This of course is Marvel(which has RETURNED as continuity according to LFL), which I don't believe was one of the sources studied in the making of the game. Concidering Krieas comments on the fall of the Mandalorians, I would believe the devs were thinking Open Season comics as the end. NOPE,NOPE,NOPE. So I would like to a member of the Shysa clan in the next game, not a Party member of course, but a character like the other NPC Mandalorians. And don't forget the Irish accent. You devs should read some of the Marvel stuff, it quite good. And please give the Mandalorians a little hope for the future next time, LFL has now decided(according to a writer of Insider who is writing a Mandalorian Article) that the Mandalorians should go on. 3.New looking ships 4. Give Mandalore his RED Mask back please 5. The planet Mandalore( I know I've said it once, but I'm a Mandalorian fan " )

Just finished it LS/Male (with revan LS/male
Darth Nuke replied to GSpotFrenzy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
They may die a slow death, but we haven't seen it yet. The Mandalorians lost a lot over the 4000 year period, but as of right now Fenn Shysa is rebuilding the Mandalorians. -
After looking up some of the Mandalore info in the game, I really do believe that the Planet Mandalore should be in the next game. It seems the game doesn't take into account that the Planet Mandalore does exist, and Canderous should know this. Why hasn't he gone back and see if the many planet of the Mandalore Sector have many more Mandalorians? He's so scared that there are only few, but why not go back home and see if there are many? This is a plot hole that I believe needs to be shown to finish up the Mandalorian part of the story.

"It was interesting that Kreia makes mention of the fetts (boba and jango...as far as what happens to the legacy of the mandalorians)" What did she say? -
In the game, from the little bit of info I'm trying NOT to read. It says Mandalore from the TOTJ comics was already preparing for war after the Exar Kun War. My question is, where do the Sith that come with the offer? Now if you played KOTOR it's quite easy to figure that Canderous wasn't talking about the Idea Sith in the game anymore, but the true sith. So a one line can fix all that in the next game, but does Canderous say anything about the Sith who came to them with the offer in KOTOR 2? Also is Dxun supposed to be like Kuar, a base planet for the Mandalorians?

Does the game say what happened to Admiral Dodonna?

Star Wars music heard in the game
Darth Nuke replied to Darth Nuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Cool, how about Duel of the Fates(Music heard during Obi,Qui-Gon, Maul Fight in PM) -
What music from the movies is heard in the game?
-
Lets see 1. Next game must have a Fleet Battle. A space battle is a must in Star Wars. 2. The Planet Mandalore. Let the third game show the mighty planet of the Mandalorians. 3. Coruscant, or at least the Jedi Temple 4. It would also be cool to see what is going on in the Senate, and how your character could influence the senate 5. The Return of Revan as the PC character 6. Aldaraan would be a nice planet to go too, and since the next game will definitly come out after Episode 3 I'm sure the planet can be touched. 7. Basilisk War Droids, don't have to fly them, seeing them in battle would be more than enough. 8. The Death of CARTH ONASI 9. A Wedge type character. Meaning a pilot who doesn't have to be a party member but a character who would show up like Wedge did in the movies.

Someone should go ahead and start the offical KOTOR 3 discussion thread, so we can put down what we would like to see before the devs decide for us? Of course they'll do that anyway

No fleet battle, that sucks Do the Sith even have a Navy?
