  1. Hello JeffRedLuigi, you should write an e-mail to Obsidian support (support@obsidian.net) including your Usernames (RedLuigi#1569 and the other one), preferably also with PFID numbers (in Settings). Once they get to answering, they can merge the accounts manually.
  2. When you select Poog's Leecher role in Rise of the Runelords, you have several "dead" powers as there are no cards with the Zarongel trait in the basic RotR game and even no Zarongel treasure cards that I know. There are cards like that in Rise of Goblins, but there is no way to transfer them (separate Stash, separate deck lists, separate character roster). It would be nice to have the Blessing of Zarongel available in RotR either as a treasure card or even Advancement card. Favor of Zarongel is probably too much to ask for In addition, Ranzak with his "when you close a location, draw a new boon" has strange interactions. Sometimes, when you close the location with another character and switch to Ranzak, you can receive the boon even though Ranzak is at another location and did not close the location. Similarly, in scenario 5-1 (I think), you are able to use the ability two times (once during the "Attempt a Wisdom check. If you fail, end your turn) and then at the end of the turn itself. As a side note, the goblin-talk wth Mistress Delvahine is hilarious. "Goblin play mean lot of biting."
  3. I believe you have to select a role from the two (clicking on the name of the role) and then, select a power to be gained (power feat). After that, the exclamation mark should disappear from that character and you will be able to proceed. I think Among my 11+1+3 characters, I did not encounter any problem in the role selection after AD3.
  4. Well, his favored type is None (look for the tabletop card). The "Choose One" is a wrong text from Lem. Yes, it is a small bug. Other bugs are associated with new-ish characters or cards (i.e. outside Rise of the Runelords) and the developers didn't have time (or, more precisely: working capacity available) to fix them. All the same, the new content is what keeps the game fresh and attracts new players - although fixing a given bug is great, it may not be noticed at all by most players unless it is an all-pervasive bug. What I don't like much is the apparently higher probability to roll 1s and 2s in any Goblin-related adventure party or the unspoken increase of ALL henchman difficulty for Valeros' quest on Heroic. Kobold Heretic with 17 or 20 at B deck difficulty (is 12 and 15 at Normal) + 1d6 increase on top + possibility of non-defeat (16%). The Muscle and other Kobolds are affected as well. Why to add the 1d6 random increase on Heroic difficulty if there is a much harder increase +5 in effect? Huh, that's something I don't understand...
  5. Still present - and you receive two Card feats for playing through AD6 as "adventure rewards"... Yes, Card feat received after beating Karzoug is strange, but it is written this way.
  6. Yes, the bug is still present, but there is something more complicated going on. In Assault on the pinnacle (AD6-4) in Normal gameplay (Android, Merisiel+Kyra+Tontelizi) on several replays, the Revelation Quill could be used in the beginning (maybe when no one even entered the Runewell), but in later stage it failed to do anything. I suspect that someone being present in the Runewell crashed the part of the code responsible for scrying into other locations. Also, Eagle could be used in the beginning, but in the later stages it just stalled the game similar to Revelation Quill. Strange. AD 6-5: Revelation Quill does not work at all (Runewell)?
  7. In my gameplay, Frost Worm worked almost-as-written when encountered in a Death Zone (6-3). Failing the Acrobatics check resulted in damage without crashing, but both instances of 1 damage were Combat damage. Why? Because I was able to play Shield of Fire Resistance for both damage steps, including the "1 Cold damage". AD6 is more buggy than the older adventures
  8. Android, Normal playthrough, Sandpoint under siege (scenario 4-1), Thief Merisiel, Healer Kyra, Halberdier Tontelizi (full Polearm power, Lucky Break). Treasure cards off. It seems that Tontelizi's powers don't check everything correctly with Polearms and rerolls. Situation 1: Teraktinus (Villain) encountered by Tontelizi at Scarleti Manor dealt 3 damage or so before the check. I had to discard Vicious Trident (leaving Longsword +1 as the only weapon). The first check to defeat had base dice: 2d8 instead of 1d8 (Strength). The second check had correct 1d8. Probable reason: Discarding the trident as damage counted as discarding the polearm "for its power", did not allow its recharge (correctly), but added 1 dice to a check (second polearm power; incorrectly). Situation 2: Some time later, Kyra at Old Light (Tontelizi still at the manor) failed the first combat check with Impaler of Thorns and rerolled the dice - with Tontelizi's Lucky Break icon flashing and adding one 1d4. So Tontelizi incorrectly granted this ability to Kyra. A sidenote: It is sad that the only cards with Polearm trait among non-treasure cards (AD B,C+1-3) are Glaive and Vicious Trident (if I looked correctly). Longspear is not a polearm? What? Oookaay
  9. Have you tried Alt-Tab from the application to get past the scrying-errors? I play on Android, so I don't know if it works. Scrying and Revelation Quill both work perfectly in Android - had lock-down problems with Runewell location. Also: is Augury broken for you as well or not?
  10. Hello Klawm, I do not own an iPad (Android user here) and I was able to buy some items recently without any problem in two seconds - Valeros DLC and both Goblins. Maybe the problem is in the Apple store (maybe because of the worm that ate a part of the apple? Sorry, bad joke ). If I recall correctly, the Heroes are actually bought, as the e.g. Armored Valeros package "includes the base character" (a big banner on the right). That means you are buying Armored Valeros (skin 2) as well as the original Valeros (skin 1). Your experience with bugs is something we all experienced (but there were many more bugs). The main reason is the enormous complexity of the game and interactions. I do not know how many specific cards there are, but estimate {400 (base game) + 7 * 110 cards (expansions)} divided by 3 (an estimated number of identical cards including blessings) is ~ 400. Some of them are Heroes (multiple powers and combinations) or Locations. And that does not include the expansions and treasure cards. The number of interaction is, therefore, extremely huge. I don't like some bugs, but in general enjoy the game despite them because it is a very faithful (and much faster) representation of the tabletop game. I would strongly object to calling this game a "barely functional" product. Unless you are playing brand-new adventure (Valeros, Goblins), most of the bugs were already hunted down by the developers (creating some new bugs in the process, they are only human). Many of the bugs may be solved by Vault-Return-Trip as you found out by yourself. That is your best friend in case of a bug. Sometimes it is not enough and you have to forfeit. But still, that is a more preferable option than a true game-crashing bug that does not enable you to even forfeit! If the developers did not fix it, do not use the move-cloak to move to a Temple. Just a hint. Recently, my Merisiel and Kyra (somewhat optimized, up to AD6 completion) disappeared and I lost their progress. Did it make me sad? Somewhat, but they were affected by a beneficial bug (1 card feat more, scenario 6-1) and I wanted to replay the game with new versions to fix it. OK, so now they teamed up with Tontelizi and I enjoy the game anew.
  11. Check the PFID numbers (in Settings). If both numbers are identical, something fishy is going on and you should contact Obsidian support. If the PFID numbers in old and new device do not match, you have the culprit. I hope this can help you find the reason.
  12. Hello Harcagnel, this question (or a similar one) is asked very often. First you have to understand that this is not a collectible card game. Every "common" card is a representation of an original tabletop card in the Rise of the Runelords set. That contained a set amount of all the common cards. 3 Thieves Tools and 1 Masterwork Thieves Tools, for example. The only "legal" way to put more cards into the box was to buy Character Expansion deck (adding 1 additional Masterwork tools). These cards can be encountered during your playthrough and get returned to the box when you are finished playing the scenario. Next scenario, you may (or may not) encounter them again. This is represented by your Collection. Once you buy a treasure chest, you are opening something like a booster pack and you unlock the cards that you open (add them to the box), i.e. you can encounter them later. As many people could not understand this principle (not played the tabletop version), the developers added a free-to-use-right-away copy of that same card into the Unclaimed section. But if you lose the card during or after play (Banish keyword), you still have it unlocked and may encounter it again - with luck. Stash is a temporary storage place so you do not have to throw away everything surplus, but you can keep 10 cards. In the tabletop version with obeying the rules, there was no way to obtain new cards outside the scenario. So no Potion of Healing for you! But, if you have a non-valid deck after the scenario (say, 1 item less) and no Hero obtained any spare items, you can draw a new item with some limits regarding the deck and traits (Basic). In the computer version, that means you have to have 0 items in the Stash or Unclaimed area. Otherwise the game forces you to draw a new item from these.
  13. In the tabletop version, Ranzak has Favored card type: None. That is, he keeps his first hand, whatever is in it. If the game lists "Choose ... ", it is a wrong text copied from Lem. It is great that Ranzak was fixed, but high-level Merisiel still recharges (= can recharge) all blessings played to grant another exploration and such. I often forget and automatically choose Recharge instead of the correct Discard.
  14. Hello ShadowMHP, there are many and many bugs, but still I find the game fun to play. 1) Samisen and other Legendary rewards in RotR work just like that - you may encounter them during playing (and they were not added to Stash, I think; I had all of them prior to the introduction of Stash). To be precise, Loot cards are not awarded for RotR Legendary playthrough - Loot is one-only, you-will-not-encounter-it-again-if-you-throw-it-away type. Samisen, Shield, Bow, Tome and others can be encountered at any time. Loot cards (Revelation Quill, Medusa Mask) are awarded only once, on the first completion of the scenario in this party. Generally, that means Normal gameplay. 2) Contact Obsidian Support with your PFID (Settings, long hexadecimal number on the bottom) and they might be able to help you. With the exception of Loot cards, each and every one of the cards can be encountered again during gameplay so you won't lose them. Look at the Collection. Everything in there can be found (randomly). 3) When you press Start button (I play on Android), there are two big buttons with pictures - Rise of the Runelords and RIse of the Goblins. If you click on the Rise of the Goblins, you should be able to play it (I don't own it). If not, contact the Obsidian Support.
  15. As usual, a perfect explanation from you. There really is another spoooooooky Haunted die in my collection. Maybe ghosts and other supernatural beings took over Obsidian and decided that they also deserve some love. Was there any special Valentine reward in the previous year? Can we expect more spooky dice?
  16. This week's weekly challenge did not give me the Pink dice as advertised - maybe the challenge itself is a remnant of the previous year? The "dice" reward is overlapped with ?100? gold in the challenge info. I have tried restarting the game (Android) after checking the Collection - and it still shows Pink (0) A little bit sad.
  17. Something interesting happened to me - I opened 6 treasure chests (2500-gold deal) with the Runes active, and one of the obtained cards was Mountain Pattern! So apparently at least some of the Enhancement tab cards can be found in chests. Or it was some bug But if it isn't, I am hoping for some Achaekek's blessings. Fun fact - I just bought my own Skull and Shackles and Achaekek is a B deck blessing there (along with Gozreh, Abadar, Silvanus&CaydenCailean&Milani) instead of 5 deck uncommon.
  18. You are right again, but for my defense - I have experience mainly with the tabletop version (1st edition), where Mirror Image does not have this clause. This was apparently errata-ed and I didn't know that The same was true for Arcane Armor, but here I remembered there was some change, based on the computer game...
  19. The screenshot shows Mirror Image, which can reduce any type of damage, as long as it is dealt by a monster and also can be played even if you already played a spell. So, something is definitely off. Sorry It was definitely an oversight from me and I apologize for this. I usually throw away both Arcane Armor and Mirror Image immediately, so they probably got mixed in my head. But if Ezren used a spell to defeat Ordikon, then he wouldn't be able to use Mirror Image at all ("1 card type per check" rule) even if Ordikon's damage was reducible as it should be.
  20. It's rather simple (and can be viewed as gaming the system). If you do not have proper amount of cards after a scenario (say, a spell was banished) and have no spare spell obtained in the scenario itself, you would have non-valid deck (1 card missing). So, you are entitled to draw a new spell with the Basic trait from the box (i.e. Collection). Starting with AD2, you may add non-Basic cards that have adventure deck number two less than the current AD. That is, in AD2 - cards from B,C; in AD3 - cards from B,C,AD1... Merisiel uses a Cure (with Basic trait), which is banished. If you did not obtain another spell in the scenario, she can draw a new spell, which can be another Cure. A spell card slot for Meri is not wasted - you may not care about repeatibility for a non-caster and put there any spell you would otherwise throw away. Yes, it is one-time and yes, my Meri does not have this slot , but the possibilities are interesting.
  21. Perfectly said, Ethics Gradient, but a slight nit-picking: the banes (enemies) are removed automatically whenever they are banished. So the weaker monsters gradually disappear. Totalitärling, with the spells you have to consider also their use - combat spells (Lightning Bolt) and support spells (Acidic Splash, Fire Weapon and such) inherently have different power. But yes, the card rarity is often extremely weird, but is usually based on different real-world products. Kohl of Uncanny Discernment (AD1, uncommon; comes from Alchemist Class Deck) gives 1d4 to Perception, whereas Spyglass has 1d6 (I think) and is a B deck item from RoTR. The same properties otherwise, traits of course different. And that's only because of different source.
  22. Works regardless of the card owner. If e.g. Seoni plays the Orb on Ezren's check, it will return to her hand if Ezren looks at his deck.
  23. I think this situation is bad, but according to rules. Muck Graul is ugly, but the same result would be from a much tamer monster, the Troll. No Fire, no death. At least you can kill Jordimandus with Combat - which is usually much easier for me than Diplomacy. Harsk with his 1d4 or, well, every person other than Seelah, Seoni, Valeros and maybe Lini has a big trouble with straight Diplomacy checks. Blast him for 30+ damage? Usually easy.
  24. Well, Arcane Armor cannot be used to prevent any non-Combat damage. So Fire, Acid, Poison and Electricity cannot be reduced and the spell has a lock on it (correctly). Regarding the Sihedron Medallion (prevents all damage), didn't you perhaps use an item during the check to defeat Ordikon? If so, the "play only 1 type of a card into a check" rule applies. If not, then it is a bug. The 1 card rule is often forgotten, especially with Snakesin Armor, Amulet of Mighty Fists, Sage's Journal and so on. You use it in the beginning of a combat to boost your chances and then wonder "Why oh why can't I use armor or Sihedron Ring to reduce the damage?!?"
  25. Another test run: Merisiel is able to recharge any blessing she played in her check to acquire a boon, in her combat check (against Golbin Raider), but not the blessing she played into another character's check. The game clearly ignores the restriction to recharge only after her Dexterity check.
