  1. If you do not see the RotR adventures in your application after complete restart of the application, write an e-mail to Obsidian support with your PFID (the hexadecimal number seen on the bottom of the Settings menu) and a proof that you bought the bundle in the app. The latter thing might not be needed, as they can find many things in your account when they log in. The developers/bug hunters/support will then either give you your money back or enable the content you purchased.
  2. You can, but the Steam version is not free - you have to buy it, unlocking some content (RotR adventure path, some cards, don't know precisely). If you spent ~ 25$ on the mobile game prior to introduction of the PC version (to unlock the adventures or something like that), there was an Ambassador program, which might be still valid (check it in the Announcement section of this forum), to get a discount.
  3. Hello, it is sad if you lost the Amulet of Colossal Fists from the Unclaimed tab (or maybe after you dragged it to a character), but note that there is a big misconception about "buying" cards. It's actually unlocking them to be encountered during gameplay. Because many players unfamiliar with the concept were confused/angry that they did not receive the card immediately, developers put a free copy to the Unclaimed tab for you to use right away. Summary: The card almost surely isn't lost (Check the Collection, item section of adventure deck 5 or 6, don't remember which - it should be there) and you can encounter it during gameplay of the same or higher adventure. Consider writing an inquiry to obsidian support to put the card again into your Unclaimed cards tab if you don't already have it there or in a character's deck. They are reasonable people.
  4. Oh. I always thought that Ranzak is a Parrot Hero and the goblin on the picture is just his pet. I seeee. And Raz and Agna are not the canine and the boar? My world is now upside down! </joking> P.S.: Raz, Agna are Paladin and Ranger heroes from tabletop class decks.
  5. This discussion (or similar) was here some time ago already. The character uses a Dexterity skill with a Ranged weapon for a "Combat" check, which makes him do a Combat Dexterity check with the Ranged trait. If that character also has a Ranged skill (e.g. Dexterity +n), it will become a Dexterity-based Ranged Combat check with Ranged trait or otherwise Dexterity-based Ranged Ranged Combat (funny, right?). If I remember correctly (always an issue), the Ally should allow you to retain the 1d4 bonus even for the Combat Dexterity check with Ranged trait. However, the game sometimes swaps to a less useful skill in the dropdown menu, especially with ranged and melee. If you change the skill from Combat(Ranged) => 1d4+1d4+Weapon to Combat(Dexterity) => 1d10+1d4+Weapon, it will be all OK, I think. If not, it's a bug And the name of a hero is Ranzak. He is a Raider, but use the names - we now have e.g. two Fighters (Valeros, Tontelizi), for the moment
  6. Or, for authenthic permadeath experience, you may also add only a completely new character to your party (i.e. hero that was not killed before in this party). Then, how many of the 11+n characters will remain in your party after B+1-6 adventures? Hopefully some.
  7. Interesting The developers definitely need to look into this - my Kyra, Merisiel and Seelah are all "dependent" on recharging their blessings to work at top performance.
  8. That's only because I was like "Flask of Frost? Great! Seoni will like it. ... Later: No recharge?! What? <reads the text> ... Ah, that's a pity. OK, Flask of Frost, you stay home." I believe the developers created the Orbs and Flasks from scratch and tried to balance their usefulness against the deck number. That is why the later Flasks are bury/recharge, whereas the weaker flasks are bury/discard.
  9. I stand corrected! I think Ilsoari has (or had) some interaction with Orik. So far, I have not observed any interactions with e.g. Ameiko.
  10. To me it seems like the blessings now automatically switch the check to Ranged (this Merisiel does not have it) instead of the Dexterity. How many and which dice were shown on the screen? If you e.g. use Sling, Meri should have 1d12 + 1d6 + x (her bonus to Dexterity) and it will be a dexterity-based combat check with several more traits. If you then discard a blessing to help her, it should become 2d12 + 1d6 + x (most blessings) or 3d12 + 1d6 + x (Erastil, Lamashtu-bury and such). If the dice are 2d4 + 1d6 or 3d4 + 1d6, the check has become (incorrectly) a Ranged combat check. And because Merisiel does not have the Ranged skill, it is not a dexterity-based check, therefore the blessings should not recharge. You can always change the skill to the correct one (Combat(Dexterity)) and then it should work as expected. Some cards change the skills in such way (e.g. the Ayruzi ally from AD6 can add 1 die to your check, or 2 if it is a Divine check - sometimes, the game selects the "higher amount of dice" choice and instead of e.g. Dexterity 2d8 you now have Divine 3d4 if you do not have the Divine skill).
  11. On the card, the relevant sentence is "or you may attempt an Arcane 13 check to discard it instead". There is no mention of recharge on the Flask of Force (and Flask of Frost + maybe several other 'low-end' flasks - the 'high-end' flasks like Flask of Fire mention recharge instead). Therefore, it cannot be recharged by any ability. Seoni may bury it, or (after successful Arcane 13 check) discard it. However, the game probably has a bug related to this (mentioned above), due to which Seoni is able to succeed automatically (with her upgraded recharge power) in the check. Her ability in tabletop says "you may automatically succeed at your check to recharge ...", but this is not a check to recharge, even though the object is an item with Arcane trait. Can somebody verify the wording in the app for Seoni's power? I currently don't have my tablet with me.
  12. My favourite exchanges (sort of) are between Kyra and Merisiel (later decks), revealing that they are in a relationship. Never had Valeros and Lem in the same party, but they should have interesting conversations as well. As to the one-woman/girl sequences, the best are Lini's shouts, e.g. at Attack on Sandpoint. "Save the dog, shield the horse, the goblins die, of course." (approximately) The only "sad" thing about these great lines is that with the same group composition, starting and closing sequences of the same scenario are always with the same character. Ezren, Kyra, Merisiel and Seoni at Attack on Sandpoint => Ezren always talks to the Father Zantus. If they were a little bit random, it would be much more entertaining than it is now (which is still great).
  13. I am a little bit confused as to what was going on in the picture. The situation looks like a normal check after you use the Flask of Force to help during the combat. Vermillion rhomboid in the to-be-discarded pile looks like Seoni's burn power (Spell trait, 1d12+1d6+x). So let me guess - you encountered a monster, burned the rhomboid for fireball, added Flask of Force and now you are asked to discard / bury the card. Everything in that scenario is correct... If you think it should be Discard (or maybe bury, I don't remember) / Recharge as in Flask of Fire, read the text. The first time I used Flask of Frost, I was surprised by the choice of Discard (after a check - or automatically if you have the Seoni's 'auto-recharge Magic items' power) or Bury. But it's in the text. Edit: red part Edit 2: I just realized that the Seoni's power is about recharging (checked the latest RotR hero sheets), but it allows her to automatically succeed in the check to discard the Flask of Frost / Flask of Force / whatever else. It is thematically correct, but is probably against the rules as written in the tabletop version
  14. While playing Legendary Attack on Sandpoint 1-1, Merisiel was at Guard Gate and Evoker Ezren at Old Light. Two times in different replays of the scenario (daily challenge hunting), Ezren wanted to play Force Bolt (had the +2 Force trait power) to defeat some common Monsters on his turn. The first time, Merisiel played Blessing of Lamashtu (Bury) first and Ezren then added Force Bolt. As it was inconcievable that he would fail, I immediatelly rolled the dice and just then realized that there were 6 d12 dice and nothing more! The second time, it was deliberate. First, 1d6 combat, play B. of Lamashtu - 3d6, then play Force Bolt and it changes to 6d12+14 (maximum achievable bonus is +8 or so, I do not know where the rest came from). Two dice were Ezren-coloured, whereas four dice were Merisiel-coloured. Could this be related to the fact that earlier, you had to play Blessing of Pharasma after playing the spell to get two dice instead of one and now, it adds the dice retroactively? Nevertheless, it is a strange bug.
  15. I have just finished the daily challenge (one of the worst for me as I usually do not have Bury cards apart from some Loot and few armors). For me on Android, the challenge works properly. Every time I buried a card due to wildcard or its own power, the count was updated, even for the Toad Ally. The only three times that it did not register (2 Blessings of Lamashtu and Revelation Quill), it was because I was somehow logged out while still connected ) Maybe the problem is device- or system-related? I saw the incorrect weekly challenge +1 when completing the All Hallows Eve #2 (third challenge, finish 2 normal scenarios) after completing the first normal scenario. I rather quit the application as I was afraid that I will miss the spoooooooky dice. After restart it showed correctly 2 dailies finished... Regarding the Bury challenge, for me the items that can be recharged or something instead of being buried (Wand of Enervation) do not count even if you select to Bury them instead of check to recharge. It probably is a side effect of not counting burying as a result of failed check.
  16. I usually throw Mending away as garbage, but Seoni has Improved Mending (as a lite Arcane version of Healing) and it worked every time for me (Android). No problems with being unable to draw the items.
  17. Well, then perhaps you need to do the second step Hannibal is suggesting - delete the whole party. The characters should remain in your app, so you won't lose anything related to them. BUT you will lose the adventure progress so far - i.e. the new party (with the old heroes) may have to finish all levels prior to 5-4 And that includes Heroic levels The third option would be to contact Obsidian support with your PFID number and ask them to fix the problem from their side (forfeiting the scenario as the worst case). Edit: just to be 100% precise - the game marks all scenario&difficulty completion separately from the current party. So you won't lose the Heroic & Legendary progress achieved so far. But to run scenario 5-4 on Legendary, the game won't allow you to run it right away - you will need to play it on Normal (unlocking Heroic) and then on Heroic (unlocking Legendary). You can always tell by the colour of the skull marking difficulty (green, blue, red) and the little marks (0 to 3) for the different scenario, marking "what you have already finished in the past".
  18. Because you must always Gather your party before venturing forth. You must gather your party before venturing forth. You must gather your party before venturing forth. TL DR: Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes!
  19. This bug appears usually when the Wrathful Sinspawn wildcard is active. At least in adventure 1, probably happens with all other "summon a henchman when encountering a monster" wildcards. Usually on the second choice between 3 cards I select anything other than a Monster to proceed with the game. So far I have never encountered situation with all 3 revealed cards being non-Henchman, non-Villain Monsters. In that case, the game would probably be lost
  20. I was also able to login today (Huzzah!), without losing any progress - I think . My first party is Legendary up to 6, second party was not checked (but is there), some other characters were present. However, I was playing offline (from the beginning and only the B deck with Kyra&Merisiel due to total reinstall) and the two characters I was playing offline remained in the reconnected game as Kyra 1, Merisiel 1. The "Stash" collected in the offline play disappeared (good riddance, deck B cards) and was replaced by the pre-bug Stash (10× adventure B to ~4 cards). That was completely fine.
  21. You should be able to login now! Just download our latest patch. I will try it once I get back home. Thank you very much for your effort in making the Google Play work with Pathfinder Adventures. Well, you can down-grade the scenario difficulty level (usually it is rather worthless once you complete everything on Legendary). Just click on the orange skull (Legendary difficulty) and choose Normal difficulty. Also, you can also start a new game/party and do some Normal scenarios from the B adventure.
  22. That is a great idea from the developers! They should make weekly challenges more interesting just like this - some chance to gain a new exclusive card to the Vault and such. It might not be extremely powerful, but some funny card. Like in MtG Puzzle Quest "Thopter Pie Network" as a parody of Thopter Spy Network... or Paizo's goblin promos. However, I am just a little bit sad about it because I am not able to login through Google Play on Android tablet. Pathfinder Adventures will also not run on my only other Android device (Sony Xperia E4), so I will miss this great opportunity.
  23. This is not a bug, but visual reminder and manipulation of the card. Bandits have normal difficulty of 8. Look at the Collection. But when you encounter him in a scenario, its difficulty will be increased correctly, but also shown on the card instead of the 8. In later adventures, it is not uncommon to encounter Bandits with Combat 13 to defeat. For a long time I thought it is a bug, but I was wrong.
  24. Thematically, Merisiel in the picture is almost covered in daggers. Not short swords, great axes, twohanded swords, maces and such. She holds a rapier or something similar, that is true. If I remember correctly, this is just a matter of her personality and need to be prepared for everything. And now to the daggers - all daggers use Dexterity and Ranged. Merisiel doesn't have the Ranged skill, but her Dex 1d12 is enormously powerful with blessings. Harsk is a beast with Ranged weapons, but he is specialized in them. And don't forget that Meri has a very large strength with regard to many other characters. 1d8 is smaller than for all fighter-type characters, but larger than every other character. There are other variations in many characters in other tabletop games and Class Decks. And guess what? The Rogue Class Deck Merisiel does have Ranged skill. And Skull & Shackles Merisiel has Melee: Dexterity+1 when using weapons with Finesse trait (Rapier? ). I do not consider this a thematical error, just an aspect of her.
