  1. I know this addition is long after the thread ended, but I wanted to mention something about the design of the digital version which is strictly different from the physical version--something nobody apparently noticed or took account of. First, the game allows you to "purchase" boosts using gold (also using money in order to acquire gold, if you're willing) including a Holy Candle "charm". While the effect is not nearly as good as the Holy Candle card (in either version), it helps players who are after a more casual game. This effectively monetizes the game, allowing them to make money off of people playing it. I'm sure that's part of the reason why they also made the Holy Candle banish in the digital version as opposed to simply buried. A second thing I wish to point out is that there is exactly ONE Holy Candle in the base set. In other words, one and only one of those cards that you could ever obtain. The digital version doesn't keep track of card counts with the stash (I don't know if you've noticed). I have two Holy Candles in my stash and I still run into Holy Candle in the scenarios from time to time. In theory, someone could stock up on these. Third, the digital game allows you to store cards that you've collected from previous adventures--a maximum of 10 if you're online, but ultimately an unlimited amount if you play offline because it doesn't enforce the limitation. This makes it even more powerful, if you're desperate. Overall, I was surprised because I played the app before I ever played the physical game, but I am definitely more for the Holy Candle banishing rather than just burying. The potions work that way, too, and while that's frustrating, I haven't heard anyone making a big fuss about that. In what world can you burn a candle and yet it's still fully ready to use a day or two later? Yes, I understand it's magical, but that shouldn't be possible.
  2. Well, they don't seem to be in much of a hurry to fix this... They fixed some of the other bugs much quicker. I wonder if they're also trying to release something else, or if they're really struggling in trying to fix this issue by reworking something (I know that can take a while).
  3. I just recently tried playing with Valeros and Seelah in one of my parties. Seelah's ability does work still. His makes you recharge his blessings when you use them, so that isn't broken. Valeros, on the other hand, didn't work. It wouldn't give me the option to recharge my weapons when I discarded them. I feel like I've been able to recharge my weapons with my other party that has Valeros during this update, but I don't know. This playthrough was on the computer, by the way. Don't know if that makes any difference.
  4. Also, I have been posting glitches and other bugs through this forum. Is there somewhere else you can report a bug? It doesn't look like Developers actually look at these.
  5. Well, so far, I have never had a problem recharging Valeros's weapons. I haven't tried playing with my Seelah too recently, but it was working the last time I played it.
  6. No, it is coming through as a dexterity check. Here's a screenshot I took today. I played the Frost Longbow +1 and then discarded a Blessing of Erastil to give me two extra dice. I took the screenshot, then rolled. It would not let me recharge the blessing. I also just tried it on my computer. Same problem. Actually, I also played a Blessing of Seranrae with Kyra who has the similar ability to put her blessings on top or shuffle them in when she plays them, but it wouldn't let her do anything with the blessing. It also occurred to me to ask: Does the scenario matter? I'm testing this on the third basic scenario with Black Fang, but I'm pretty sure I've seen the problem with Merisiel on the 5th adventure. Kyra usually works, but not on this scenario. So, I went and tried the last scenario of Adventure 5 and now Kyra's ability is working, but Merisiel's does not. I wonder if they programmed something that only allows a character's role abilities to activate if you are playing past Adventure 3?
  7. Alright, I just checked and Merisiel does not have the Ranged skill. I'm definitely surprised. But in that case, all blessings Merisiel uses when I play a Dexterity-based weapon should be rechargable. It's still not working, though. Also, apparently the image is too large, so it didn't upload. Plus I didn't know I had to press a button to make it do so. Anyway, now I know at least that parts not wrong.
  8. Here's a screenshot of Merisiel during a fight, showing the glitch I talked about. I did not play anything except the longbow and then did this. Also, for the first time, I used a blessing of Seranrae with Kyra and it didn't let me recharge or put it on top like usual. That feature has been working during this update, but randomly didn't this time. It happened on the third scenario of the basic adventure, the one with black fang, which spawned a skeleton right after my fight where I used the blessing.
  9. Before the most recent update, whenever I would use Blessings of Erastil (blessing for combat dexterity) or the other one for non-combat Dexterity on Merasiel's turn to boost her Ranged attacks, it would give me the option of recharging them. Now, it doesn't. Based on how those blessings work (i.e. for Dexterity and Dexterity-based skills, including Ranged: Dexterity), I should be able to recharge those blessings (or any others, frankly) for a Ranged combat. But how it doesn't. I haven't seen Merasiel's ability trigger at all since the update. I've also noticed another weird bug in connection with this. Whenever I try to use a blessing like this in such a situation with Merasiel, I can click the button to look at other options and it will show me Ranged: d4 + 0 and Dexterity: D12 + 3. So . . . something's definitely wrong in the programming there because Merasiel has Ranged: Dexterity +1 or +2 by default. I've also noticed something buggy about the Vicious Greataxe and the Vicious Trident. Sometimes when I attempt to play them, it glitches out and then the card acts like it is no longer usable. Recently, I tried to discard it on Velaros and it didn't even ask me to discard a card, like it's supposed to. I also didn't get any extra dice. I had exactly one other card in my hand to discard, so it should have worked. I should also mention that this is only on the Android app that I've had this problem so far. I haven't played on my PC since the update to test that, but I might get around to it at some point.
  10. I spoke too soon. The first time I loaded the app, it worked fine. Now, same problem as before. Also, I just ran into a new set of bugs. I'm playing the Approach to Thistletop scenario. I've noticed two things already: First, the bandits I have been fighting have text that says their difficulty to defeat is increased by the level of the current adventure deck, which is one. However, the card shows they need a combat check of 9 to defeat and that's what the game says I need to defeat him, too. I've had this issue with other monsters, too, I just run into a lot of bandits because of the Guard Tower. Bug two: Marasiel encountered Tangletooth at the Guard Tower, twice now. I've defeated him both times, but it counts him as undefeated both times. The text on the card says that all other players at the location encounter him first and if someone doesn't succeed, then Tangletooth is undefeated. Marasiel is there alone, both times. I don't know what's going on. I do know of one other thing I have been doing, though. At the beginning of my turn, I have been summoning Bandits there because of the Guard Tower effect. But I've just been having Marasiel evade them. Maybe it's related? Thanks for your work on fixing these bugs.
  11. Apparently they HAVE fixed this bug, at least that's what they say. My device wasn't auto downloading the update. And it works! I still think the choice to not require banishing doesn't make sense. People could manipulate that to their advantage. I don't know anyone who would care about losing 10-20 gold anyway (unless things get much more valuable later).
  12. I'll have to try that and see if it works. I did something like that in trying to post this with accurate information and I found it fixed itself. So I'll try that. But in honesty, this bug has been enough to stop me from playing the app for the last two weeks. And I was thinking of buying the steam app so I would have everything... And this definitely stopped me. It's been two weeks and they haven't fixed whatever they broke with the last update? Especially this where it is something they could probably fix by just reverting to previous code that worked perfectly well?
  13. I run a Google Nexus 7. The Android operating system never got past 6.0.1 before they stopped supporting updates. The odd thing about the missing completion things is that the missing Heroic completions fixed themselves later. I don't have the issue now. As for the characters, I think they might have not had issues, I'm not sure. I might have gotten some info mixed up between two characters.
  14. I have no idea where I can report bugs I've been encountering, so I'm posting here. Hopefully this will get where it needs to go. First bug: every time I start the app (with WiFi enabled), I am greeted with the familiar: "network connection restored. Purchases, gold, etc., Have been enabled" or however it goes. However, I have no gold when I go to look. The store icon/button is not visible, and if I continue playing, none of those things come up., I don't earn gold, and the icon in the corner says I can link my social network. The only remedy I have found is to log in to my Asmodee.net login and that enables everything. Second Bug: Also related with this, the game wouldn't let me (or make me) banish cards in my stash over the 10 limit. I don't know if that's an intentional feature when the game is not connected, but that seems weird. For whatever reason, I had a few days where I would try to fix my decks after a scenario and nothing would be saved and I wasn't asked to banish cards. The end result was that I got about 3 copies of each card in my stash and finally today was able to banish them. This probably had some connection to the previous problem. Third Bug: I lost some of my campaign information with one of the recent updates. This was really weird for a while. It said I had completed some scenarios on normal and Legendary, but not heroic. I haven't looked through to see what the end result was now that things seemed to stabilize, but that was annoying. Fourth bug: On a similar note, one of my characters reported having never completed one scenario, even though they didn't die. I know she completed it because she is one of the two I have always had in my team. I've since played that again and gotten the scenario reward again (but not the adventure reward again), which was a random card.
