Stargate: 2000

While I don't have the game yet (I have to wait until christmas for it), I have been noticing after reading the various posts on the section of the forum that some of you are having problems that are being fixed by disk exchanges and I was wondering if maybe alot of the problems are coming from a bad batch of burned disk. So if others would oblige and list your disk S/N then maybe we can find out if this is true. And possible finaly have a solution to the seemingly constant problems some are having. Listing both the S/N (since the s/n contains the batch number) before you exchange your disk (saying you haven't done so already, because I am sure it wasn't high on your priority list at the time to look at the s/n) and saying your new disk works also listing the s/n for that disk. Once I get the game I will also be donig this in order to maybe help give the heads up to some who are having persistent(sp?) problems. For those who don't know where to find the serial number is on the bottom right corner of the backside of the game box.

I have to agree with GOA one this either people are being Lazy or just plain stupid when they post a spoiler in the General forum. I myself don't mind finding out what planets we go to but when they start talking about story points and such I Really DON'T like it.

But they *can* make changes before the international version is released in Feb, and they can make changes before the PC version is released. So listing any glitches is fully productive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Since there is very few devs left working on TSL I wouldn't bet on any updates or major changes being made to the PC or international releases of the game. Most of the Devs have either moved over to the NWN project or onto the new in house project Obsidian is working on.

you do realize that all but a few devs have moved to other projects and no longer really have the time to answer questions on this board.... right? Most of the answer will/can be found by simply useing the search feture at the top of the screen.

I have dial-up as well and don't have a problem accessing the flash it might have taken me a little while to DL it the first time but it doesn't take too long after that.

Ok... i COMPLETELY understand how some people don't want stuff spoiled for them... (I personally am not one of them... but to each his own) and it's a reasonible request... KingSnake. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't Chris say that you can't have the Handmaiden and Visas Marr in the same party <uses master force speed to run and check> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At first everyone assumed that because Marr looked evil and Handmaiden looked good (i.e. Marr wears red and black where handmaiden wears white) that you could only have the one of them in your party at a time but it would seem that (info taken from the "jedi training manual" ) and that she will follow you regaurdless of your alignment as will handmaiden so to answer the question I would say that you can choose between having Marr and handmaiden, or marr and diciple or handmaiden and disciple but not have all three.

It would seem to make sense given the information we have been given to date. This would seem to add more credability to the theory about Mandalore being Canderous, IMHO anyway.

I wonder why they different dates, according to Lucas' main page it should be in stores on the 6th (i.e. tomorrow).

count yourself lucky I still have roughly 38 hrs till its in my house, since its not being bought till tuesday or so.

Just thining of something here and most people (who visit this thread anyway) with a large amount of FP (posts) are members of the pink side (myself included)

While I agree with you 100% that one should upgrade their internet connection IF they can, the problem is that some people like myself can't (atleast not for another week or so) because of OLD telephone lines in their area. But I will say it agian IF you can upgrade DON"T be so damb cheep and upgrade, because it will save alot of hassle to do so.

I more than likely wont be leaving entirely, I will be around from time to time since I am not getting the game till christmas I am not really looking forward to the first of the plot spoilers.
