can you name once where I have said how great its going to be to get KOTOR??? and oh I own an Xbox? I don't like to rub it in because the next time around I could be in your possition so why risk it. no offense to you GOA but it seems that some PCers are doing that even in threads that don't pertain to release dates or Xboxers getting it sooner than Xboxers. so for PCers to start a thread would be kind of redundent wouldn't it?

but it would effect your ability with the lighsaber depending on which implant you had in your head for instence look at the one that gave a +4 to Dex that one helped with hitting or the one with +4 to con that allowed you to take more hits stupid stuff like that does in away effect how good you are with a lightsaber.

So what does that mean? keep in mind I never played a RPG before KOTOR and the only other such RPG I have played (heck I am not even sure if it is one for sure :"> ) is Lord of the rings: return of the king.

But haven't they been updating at like 9pm (or there abouts) Eastern time lately?

I would have to go with number 1 but the question is how would it work on the Xbox since it doesn't require you to install the game to play it? So the game would wind up having to be a completely new game anyway rather than an exspansion(sp?) pack and I don't think LA would go for that and not just call it KOTOR 3. With all that being said I think that KOTOR 3 should be on a completly different engine even if it does take two years to produce. Mainly because with a new engine (rather than a retooled one) there will be things that we have asked for that couldn't make it into TSL (due to the engine) which wouldn't be a problem.... kind of a DUH!!! moment there .

Not too mention the fact that we will have more levels that we will be able to get all the implant feats this time around.... hopefully anyway. Myself I am in favour of getting certain feats for free, I don't think we should get a lot of feats for free but one or two for each class would be cool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't mind that idea, I suppose. I like you, just don't want to get things too easily. I like a challenge and furthermore you didn't need all the feats in K1 because you were overpowered in the latter half on the game. That's just my opinion though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wonder what feats will be given to us this time? I am hopping that its feats that might not have been used in KOTOR (either because they didn't exist or there was no point to them) or atleast some that weren't used that much. The main reason for this is because as you said above we did become atleast a little over powered towards the end of the game the other way.

acctually in san andreas (sp?) you can learn how to swim, so they fixed that to a point anyway. now back on topic: JediMaffia: The first couple times through the game it kinda bugged me but I got over it and so should you! If thats a problem maybe you should be looking at another type of game to play where you will have more freedom than the KOTOR series. Now as to your bit about the "lightsaber glow" since I have an xbox and a PC (which right now can't play either KOTOR) I could care less about it, if it get fixed for Xbox 2 and KOTOR 3 then kool but if it doesn't then oh well.

I belive this is the peticular part of the article people are talking about. I would think its kinda common sense that if you were to risk you life to try and atleast save some of the people then you will get LS points and of course if you walk away your going to get DS points. I don't really think that something as simple as this should reflect on whether or not the game is biased against Lightsiders. I think it does show on the other hand that Obsidain has atleast put more thought into the whole struggle between LS and DS than Bioware ever did. Its these types of situations that the original lacked IMO anyway. Oh and if anyone has missed the article in which this quote was taken from here is a link.

Well, the info about you being fully corrupted to Darkside at ancient temple and having your prestige do surgest it one of the last places, also it is where Freedon Nadd's spectre was before Exar Kun took it inside him and eventually killed Freedon, so one cant help but wonder what secret the ancient Temple holds. Because int he one article (or video maybe) it said that you could learn force powers only available by giving into the darkside through these force clouds. I wonder what level she starts as because I haven't seen any new screen shots that include her after Peragus, So I am wondering if she is truely finished before the hawk leaves Peragus or maybe shortly there after. Someone else said that he bonus' only go to something like level 13 so they were wondering if she was finished at that point, anyone else heard anything else to do with her?

There are couple possibilities here. The first being that we can learn all 7 of the offical Lightsaber forms plus 4 that are made up by Obsidian (but only 7 lightsaber forms at once). The second being that IGN did indeed screw up and counted the 4 force forms in with the 7 lightsaber forms. Both would give you the total of 11 forms but only one adds upto 11 Lightsaber forms. The final being that there will be some different lightsaber forms for darksiders to choose, because in the Lightsabers article from IGN it mentions Jedi in the article where the Meet Your Team, article (also from IGN) it just says lightsaber forms. While highly unlikely its still a possibility. As I mentioned in my Post that was the response I got from Adam about using forms with multiple lightsabers and saber staffs. Its also possible (as I said above) that Obsidian made four of their own Lightsaber forms and that we can choose 7 forms total out of 11 possible forms to choose from. Or as you said its possible that IGN screwed up and grouped the two type of forms together. Although unless a dev graces us with an answer its likely we will have to wait until the game is released to find out for sure.

while I would like to be able to answer you one this, all I can say is that we only know for sure that two are force sensitive Viras Marr and Handmaiden, other than that as I said we just simple don't know yet.

First off let me say welcome to the boards. Now as to your post I am going to have to go with a big NO! on this one. mainly because it has only been five years since KOTOR and while you will turn pasty and more or less look dead I don't think the DS will acctually age a person.... well atleast not 50 years.

DG I would say thats about right, I mean the part about her being blind came almost three months ago when we knew little or nothing about any of the characters so its possible that XBN just screwed up in their theory. As to her only having one hand I guess we all can tell she has two (atleast for the time being - baring her cutting it off herself (w00t) ) in the screenshot that was posted in this very thread (as well as another). I am not exactly sure where they would have gotten the idea that she only hand and as to why they would have said it, I would guess either they screwed up or it was missinformation plain and simple.

well it would certainly make you second guess her teachings wouldn't it :D

very true but its the only thing I could think that would account for the error other than someone else (more than likely Sion) taking her hand. Or who knows maybe she hasn't used a saber in so long that the first time she uses one she cuts her own hand off.

maybe its possible that we cut her hand off in battle before she dies (saying she betrays the PC or we go DS and she doesn't like it). I don't think she will either. Most of the picts of her (I am guessing they are taken early in the game) show her without a saber, she either has a blaster or a sword.

Kinda like after rescuing Bastila on Taris, kinda took away from the whole big thrill of getting your own lightsaber on dantooine.

It doesn't say 11 forms total it says 11 LIGHTSABER forms, whether its right or wrong we wont know until we play the game. But from the way ut sounds there, there will be 15 forms total (11 Lightsaber forms and 4 force forms). Also for those who are interested all the lightsaber forms which can be learned in the game are open to any type of saber and also to multiple sabers as well.

mainly its so normal people don't have to read all the posts in the original thread, but thus far that doesn't seem to be a problem since most of the people who post in this thread have either read almost all the posts before they posted or have been around since the thread started.
