IF its along the line of having a choice between the three of them (i.e. the disciple, Handmaiden, and Viras Marr) I am going to choose Handmaiden and Viras Marr. Mainly because there are picts where they are both holding sabers so I think they might be a bit more useful than a blaster toating Disciple (not knowing whether or not he can be trained as a jedi is the basis for my currect decision). Well since we now know that Marr is a Sentinal that removes her from the running for an apprentice (unless the whole apprentice thing is regaurding the prestige classes and not the normal jedi classes). Also we now know that she will follow the PC regaurdless of their actions so that would mean that she has the possibility of being both LS and DS.

They are not the same person, Akari, and Mr. Avalone have both said this. They are infact completely different people, if you look in the other spoilers thread there are links to the latest review by OXM in which it give a little back ground on the characters nothing serious but at little. Spoilers pictures below: do not click if you don't want to find out minor info on these two characters.

which would make sense if her alignment will change along with the PC. The question is, is she going to be light of dark aligned when we meet her?

I heard earlier, that handmaiden and VW couldn't be in the same party together, but that was when I thought HM was good and VM was bad, but it was never said what their force alignments were. Maybe we were assuming too much, and that feature is still there. I still say we need to focus for a moment and figure out who disciple is. Any suggestions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you look at the caption below the pict it says that she will foloow you regaurdless of your decissions, So that would mean that she is neither light nore dark. But the question still needs to be asked.... does this only apply to male characters? or will it also work with female characters? the reason I am asking this is because of something that has been said by both Mr. Avallone and Akari, how you answer the questions asked at the begining of the game will change how characters react to you and also which characters you will see in the game, SO back to my reasoning (if there is any ) by say choosing a female character and female DS Revan will that change who is loyal and who is not?

I was looking over the review agian I noticed a caption I had missed before "no where is safe; not even the hawk" (or something to that effect) and the picture above it showed the PC fighting some guys on board the hawk. My question is how in the hell did they get on board and past everyone else.... not too mention where is everyone else in you party I mean shouldn't they be helping get rid of these guys?

I think all three have the possibility of being in your party no matter what alignment you are its all a matter of who you choose, I remember Akari saying that there were some party members that you would have to choose between and once you chose you couldn't go back to change your decision. Maybe this is the group he was talking about? I think Marr will be a love intrest but I also think that Handmaiden will be one as well more than likely who becomes your LI will be determined by how much time you spend with them. As for female LI I would think Atton and Mandalore or the diciple or who knows maybe even Bao Dur? We were told (once agian) by Akari that Atris wont be a NPC (and that she will have a major role in the game) but that doesn't mean that she wont have a role in who is in our party, by that I mean I think Handmaiden is maybe even her apprentice and she sends her with the PC inorder to complete her training maybe because Atris is in fear of being discovered where she is hiding and doesn't want to risk the Handmaiden's life in case she doesn't survive the encounter. Also a very good point about him only ever showing up in picts with only a blaster and no saber, I wonder what that means?

Really? I knew there was going to be two version but whats the other version going to be like?

well since both are fircely protective of the PC I am betting that you can, though I could (and am) very likely wrong. My main thought on this is that because neither one of them are listed as being strickly one side or the other in the reveiw it makes me think its possible. I was also wondering if the Handmaidens name is going to be "Sirta" " .... and they can't release it because it would be too obvoius?

Your right its not Xbox exclusive, mainly because it also comes out on the PC but in terms of other consoles it is exclusive. The main reason for that is because its supposedly easier to port from the Xbox to PC and vise versa than to go to another console, not to mention the size of the save games. And unless someone is willing to shell out big bucks for the HD version of the PS3 it still isn't going to be possible for the KOTOR to be on any other console (also before you say the XBox2 isn't going to have a HD either it should be said that it is said to have a Flash drive allowing for saves while saving space).. PS3=No harddive no KOTOR3 and the same goes with Xenon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there are going to be three versions of the PS3 and one will include a HD.... for an extra couple hundred dollars of course.

I kinda like this idea. I mean if he is LS then it would make sense that whats left of the Order would try to keep track of the "last" known Jedi, and if he is DS then it would make sense that he would be there to gain inteligence on the lone jedi. Its also possible that he is merely force sensitive and can be trained at a later date. I know it was said by one of the devs (most likely Akari) but at such an early stage in development (I am refering to when the coment was made not now) can we really take to account what was said to be fact, I mean if they are going to show you something earth shatering would they really want you looking for the flash back?.... ok I was kinda rambeling there forgive me. I was wondering if maybe she joins the party because the PC saves her life or the life of the Queen and she feels that she must join in order to protect the PC... though that does kinda go against the whole people joining not just because they want to but because it serves their motives. well to a point atleast because she is jedi trainable or already trained as a jedi in some picts. I was thinking back to what Akari said awhile back about the disciple, handmaiden, and Viras Marr not all being able to be in the party at once. Well I am guessing now (after looking at the pict talking about the NPCs) that we are able to have any combination of the three in our party just not all three. So this also makes me wonder about the whole apprentices thing since atleast two of the three have been shown with lightsabers in picts does that now comefirm that we can train more than one NPC... or is it possible that once we regain our Force abilities that Kreia (saying she is still around this far in the game) will take another apprentice while we take our own???

Carth was good for the first 20 or so playthroughs but his constent whining really got on my nerves after that. As for Dustil I never had much problem with him since he didn't really seem as annoying as Carth.

The boards wont be the same without you guys and gals (PC users & international Xboxers) who do leave. I was going to leave but not I am kind of adicted to this forum so its doubtful that I am going anywhere, I am just going to be careful about which thread I go into from the fifth on.

We don't really know anything more about the prestige classes as of yet, maybe after the 30th someone can post more about them (i.e. when the DVD startegy guide comes out).

While yes it would be more productive, it would be more than likely a lot more perdictable than many smaller ones. A lot of people (myself included) say the big revilation about revan coming at the end of Dantooine (or earlier) so to have smaller ones its possible that they might throw even the most dillegent person off their track as to what the devs are getting at.

Oddly enough, it appears that the DVD Enhanced Prima guide comes out on the 30th of November, while the Prima XBox Hint book by itself comes out the 6th of December (same date as the North American XBox game release). [Edit: the DVD Enhanced guide also seems to be a universal guide, ie. for both the PC and XBox (the DVD itself at any rate), I wonder it the hint book in the DVD enhanced guide is different from the hintbook sold on it's own - unlikely seemingly, except I can't figure out why the book itself is coming out later than the DVD variant] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was wondering that myself. I am guessing its just another way for another company to make as much money as possible. Because I can't see it being anymore informitive or less informitive than the regular strategy guide (other than the DVD with trailers and fly-by's and whatever else included of course).

Thing is we are not saying TSL wont have plot twists all we are saying is that there wont be one huge one but many smaller ones that will change the game in (possibly) different ways.

Going by the picts on the offical site I would say you can get the Disciple as a male PC. Since I think its been said that Kashyyk isn't in the game I am betting that we will meet the walking carpet on Telos (since Telos brings about anoying things incl. Carth). Oh also can anyone please provide me with a link to the info where it talks about the handmaiden being over protective and falling in love at first sight with the PC?

If I am not misstaken its been said many times that the game will have many smaller plot twists rather than one large one, I do belive a dev even said so (I forget which one though), so I wouldn't worry about having another major plot twist like in KOTOR or one thats going to ruin the game by being too obvious.

(w00t) I like it!! that would kick ass. Another thought would be a slow motion 360 degree pan of the lightsaber slicing through his body (literally cutting him in half) from head to toe. Ofcourse to top it off would be a blood curdeling(sp?) screem just before he dies.
