  1. Did this one, went a little artistic with it
  2. I swear those DLCs really jumped up the difficulty for sure though ...
  3. There is another book to in the Forgotten Sanctum that refers to the Autumn Stelagar ... I think that is definitely Hiravias yeah - I don't totally remember all the lore?
  4. The Demon is the hired guard for the tavern, perhaps to make sneaking around more difficult? Also, if you get caught stealing or start a fight you probably end up fighting her. She is probably fight filler if you are on a mission to clear out Dunnage with a vengeance maybe? I have never attacked the owner but I am sure she is game to fight if you do.
  5. Here is another though, in this interview article it again references Sven taking a pot shot at Spell Slots, makes me think they have tweaked the spell combat system for sure. Fingers crossed they keep it per rest spells. https://www.pcgamer.com/how-baldurs-gate-3-and-bloodlines-2-are-rewriting-the-rules-of-the-tabletop-games-theyre-adapting/
  6. I'm considering buying the whole Shadowrun series for $18 right now ... is combat more like Wasteland? I couldn't get into Wasteland, but for that cheap I should just do it.
  7. I am going to give P:K a run where I don't reload any and all DC rolls ... just to really get into the punishment, I will be honest have never tried that before with any CRPG so will be interesting to say the least. Almost finished with my first full playthrough of Deadfire including all DLCs. After all is said and done it definitely deserves the 9/10 ranking most people gave it :) - I put about that same hours into P:K, DOS2, POE1, DOS1, and Tyranny - all are worth playing and enjoyable. Deadfire is my favorite though.
  8. I don't think it will be 3rd person, I think it will be their 3D-ish(which is actually still 2D)/Isometric-hybrid they used for DOS, I think he mentioned in an interview they are using the same engine from DOS2. I thought Witcher 3 was 3rd-person action-style? If it is 3rd person I will cry.
  9. So do the Rogue passives apply? Can look myself I think, but if anyone knows that would be great too
  10. I am all about Heretics of Dune, Dune: Chapterhouse, Children of Dune, Dune, God Emperor of Dune and Dune Messiah in that order lol. Edit: And then there is - https://ew.com/movies/2019/02/04/dune-movie-everything-we-know/
  11. Not only tone of the writing but you could say tone of the world's they create with their design philosophy. It often matches the lighter tone of the writing ... telekinesis a good example; the wavy line that shows you are moving something is a little cartoonish. I could definitely go for darker tone in both writing and graphic representation. I hope they don't get bogged down porting the mechanics that a lot of world detail gets ignored and it plays, sounds and looks just like a DOS game ... though there is always BG4 - too soon?
  12. I've been noticing recently with my Swashbuckler, my Mob Stance hits have been dealing a lot heavier damage than often the initial hit, and I think it is because it stacks the Hold the Line engagement / Persistent Distraction / Sneak Attack / Death Blows (when suffering another affliction) while at the same time getting a crit on hit. Does that sound correct or am I off on the stacking rules?
  13. What's your skin in the game? Why defend it? I actually thought they put together a nice product, just thought it was wasted on such a lame topic ... lol
  14. No in a later post I specifically pointed to online lol, who doesn't use the internet??? as for the other half, you should keep reading the rest of the posts lol, but feel free to call people what you want, and I'll call it cynicism.
  15. I think my point was that if they spent time doing this in a way that served the general public they would make a lot more money from landing rad jobs in news media, and could skip the whole YouTube ad revenue for real money. Local news and blogging is huge and often leads to greater things - for instance a buddy of mine was a blogger in NYC, now he helps runs the whole social media and blogging for a very well known and famous cultural center. I guess they may end up with jobs as gaming journalists, but I doubt it with posts like that lol. Edit: and I have no idea what to comment about outrage selling, I guess I find it kind of cynical, everyone always thinks everyone else isn't as intelligent or politically aware, but I don't think that is true. I think most people are very intelligent and very aware - totally outrageous lies and conspiracy theories represent the hobbies of a few lol.
  16. The diversity is pretty great per encounter, if you have an idea of what you need going into it and plan ahead well. Just the other day in SSS playing one of the survivor fights, a few web scrolls saved the day literally Dominate is a great spell, summons come in handy, so many spells and abilities at the right moment can turn the tide of a battle, the game is pretty great like that.
  17. Who has the time to make videos like that?? I mean i work in video production and went to school for it but serious if those guys/gals only put there time into more important things, like reporting on homelessness in there city, or reporting on what there city council is doing, or even reporting on there local school sports teams they would be doing pretty well. The insanity is that they took the time to get all up in arms about a video game company. A producer I work with said it best, its just entertainment its not like we're saving lives here why get so upset??
  18. I read that but you think it would be like the Amazon or Google of stores, just in the sense that it it aggregates?
  19. I know there is some mods where people collected the ones they created, but this thread is very long ... would be a cool project for everyone Here is another one, sorry they are happening so slow, wish I had more time:
