The problem with Marx he was following a socialistic/communistic model, while I still like to keep the capitalistic economic model with a democratic government.
We greatly reduced ignorance be instigating a separation of church and state. If we eliminated religion altogether, and focus even moreso on secular education and civil liberties we would reduce it even further.
I have to say my order of enjoyment with these movies goes like this: Temple of Doom>Raiders of the Lost Ark>Kingdom of the Crystal Skull>The Last Crusade.
It all depends onthe story. If the sex and sexuality enhances the story, integrel to the characters, and the events that unfolds then I say let there be sex. May this be depicted in books, television, movies, or even video games.
Religion in of itself is a problem, but the Abrahamic religions are probably the worse of the bunch in the modern world. More evil and destruction has been done in the name of religious beliefs than any amount of good.
Oh yeah, Einstein. One of the so-called greatest minds that gave us the atomic nightmare.
It doesn't happen as much as it use to because we have actually made progress in that regard, unlike some other countries. Unlike the Middle East, the US has stepped up to the 21st century.
Just because it happened in the past does not make it right, nor does it make it alright to do so now or in the future.
I know its not just Iran. Its the Islamic religion that is the problem. There is a reason why theocracies are the worst form of government when it comes to civil rights and liberties. Just because a neighboring country is commiting atrocities does not make it right. If you think it does I again have to say you need some psychological help.
I like Temple of Doom most of all. Heart ripping cultists that burn their still living victims with magma gets me every time.
Crystal Skull is midly entertaining and worth the $5 I spent on it. George Lucas is like Bioware. Just as Bioware does with their games, Georgie-boy delivers a formulaic movie that is entertaining to the masses but not innovative nor risky within the genre. There are far far worse movies and their are far far better ones as well, but it has that fine niche of being a good popcorn movie and that is good enough for me.
I agree with this assessment.
I don't praise JE that highly. It is better than KotOR and NWN1, but worse than BG1, BG2, and ME. If I was to give it a grade it would be a C+ to B- compared to ME's A-, and NWN's and KotOR's C.
Yeah, I want to go 300 MPH down the highway on a cycle just to have Pixie Stick shoot me with a rocket launcher so that I can explode!
That could be fun.
In terms of zombie attack I only live a few blocks from work which would have all the supplies I need. Also many of my friends have done weapons training in both military and the SCA, so I can be very protected. Given that even in my ample form, I can still run faster than my roommate if need be. Also I have a friend who can give me access to the ROTC armory on campus.
I have to agree with Walsh. We just had our own natural disaster here in Iowa last night. A mile wide tornado ripped through a town called Parkersburg. Only 7 dead, which given the size of the tornado if could have been worse, but with a lot of property damage to go with it.
