  1. Okay, that is a definite plus. If we could put Linux on the PS3 is there other OSes that could be installed or is Linux based material is it?
  2. How would someone who doesn't do "What If" scenarios be able to definitively make such an outrageous claim? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A careful review of the last 5,000 years of human history.
  3. Benchpress? How would using Osama as device for weight training stop terrorism?
  4. He is a possibility. Who do you think should play Cassidy?
  5. Nice sentiment, and I wish it can happen, Xard, but reality of it there is no way it ever will. It isn't within human nature. Right on, Wash. If we focused on Afganistan instead of wasted resources and lives on Iraq things would be quite different I am sure.
  6. The problem is this... The only actor I can think of who can play the Saint of Killers good happens to be dead. Jack Palace. He would have made a kickarse Saint of Killers. Clint Eastwood could pull it off but I don't see him doing a small screen gig ever.
  7. I am not going to look down on those who use drugs like MJ as long as they keep it private and do it in their own home. What one does in their own abode is no business of mine.
  8. And you can't go on a murder spree either.
  9. In any case we can all see where Gifted1's little exercise in killing would get us. Its called Iraq. Soldiers are a poor tool to use to combat terrorism.
  10. Yes, but who is to say that ideology was alredy shared by two other people? Who would then share it it with two more people each, then two more people each, and so forth and so on. Sure you can kill one person but ideas can travel faster than any soldier.
  11. I haven't played one yet that I consider good. Played UO, EQ, EQ2, AO, SWG, Guildwars, DDO, tried out WoW, played the VC beta (a friend downloaded it for some odd reason so I gave it a go), and so on. When a MMORPG that I like is made I expect it to be a tad bit chilly in Satan's home.
  12. Okay, you can put Linux on PS3. Is there any practical reason to do this beyond the cool factor?
  13. True enough Astromech. The problem with Terrorism is that it starts with an ideology and you can't fight ideology with guns.
  14. Its a MMORPG. Its naturally crappy.
  15. That's not how I interpret it.
  16. All too true. HA!
  17. They should all come here. We would have a grand old time! :joy:
  18. So, you are saying that it is okay to have threats against the US go unchecked, Alan? Interesting view.
  19. I am waiting for the next gen ATI card.
  20. Preacher is becoming a television series?!?!? Holy crap! Almost literally. It is one of my favorite comic books. All they need now is to do a Transmetropolitan series.
  21. Demoralization. Osama is a figurehead that gives motivation to those under him. Cut off that head and you can bleed that motivation. Thing is we not only need to capture Osama but we need to destroy him completely. Destroy his dreams, his hope, his convictions, and everything he believes is right. We need to rip out his sense of self and once he is a shell of his formal self show him to his follower then execute him. Okay, was that a bit over the top?
  22. It looked too Diablo-like so I avoided it. I hate Diablo.
  23. I don't mind one bit if marijuana becomes legal. There are a number of medicinal uses for marijuana and it is no more mind altering than hard liquor. Just as long as people use the drug in moderation and be smart about it, like they should with alcohol, then there shouldn't be a problem.
  24. It might be a broken record, kirottu, but it is a record that Bush failed to play. As Walsingham said, you don't make a war on two fronts if you don't have to but by splitting the attention of our military instead of focusing and "staying the course" on Afganistan Osama was able to slip through and allowing Al Qaeda/Taliban gain strength in that nation. It just simply proves to me without a shadow of a doubt that Bush and his administration are incompetent.
