Well, if you need a decent video card and have a PCI Express slot and in Iowa for some odd reason I have a spare GeForce 7600 that I am not using. -

With as close as Vista is coming out if it doesn't work with DirectX 10 then its not worth the money.

I thought Splinter Cell was a FPS. I'll have to take a look at these. Thanks for the info! Once I get tired of NWN2 and X3, I think HL2 and Splinter Cell will be next.

My views of First person view isn't going to change but I am willing to give it a go for a FPS. It would be nice to see a Third Person Shooter though. :D

How story driven is it? I know its not a CRPG but I can almost get into any game if it has a good story to it.

I am considering expanding my game library to include Half Life 2, but I haven't played Half Life 1. So two questions. 1) Does it look better than the X Box version? 2) Do I have to play Half Life 1 to know what is going on in Half Life 2?

Nope. That game can be played offline while a MMORPG doesn't have that option, hence the Online in Massive Multiplayer ONLINE Role Playing Game in the genre title.

I still think it was pretty damn lame to put an invulnerable boss in the game when none of the other boss creatures were invulnerable. Name one other PC CRPG that uses an invulnerable creature that you fight as a puzzle.

Yes, I had morphine once and that was enough for me. I refuse to have morphine ever again. I prefer the pain instead of that stuff.
