Killing characters when there is no in-game reason to kill them doesn't equal "thinking outside the box". Things like being unable to kill Gunther is poor design, yes, but the game shouldn't accomodate my desire to kill everyone is in UNATCO any more than it should allow me to go to JC's home and bake cookies for the rest of the game.

Modding your console isn't simply about being able to pirate games, mod chips allow you to play games from other regions that aren't released in your country.

I always thought SH3 was never ported to any other systems due to the fact that it was a followup to the original, but I recall reading somewhere that is sold the least in the series, with people not being as interested in playing a female character.

I'd much rather see a CRPG of Vampire: The Requiem. The different factions in that are much more interesting. I'd imagine White Wolf would prefer a game with the new stuff rather than the old, too.

Animal Crossing isn't a game, it's a drug. Res Evils, Eternal Darkness, Wind Waker, all fab. I have The Twin Snakes, but I'm not too fussed about it. The levels are exactly the same and the MGS2 features are just kinda thrown in, so I thought it felt kinda messy. I found the cutscenes to be WAAAY over the top - there is far too much slow motion footage of Snake flipping all around dodging bullets.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is indeed a fine game. Mind you, I enjoyed the first two as well.

Any Knights of the Old Republic game should, like the comic series of the same name, be about the Jedi Knights. If I want to roleplay a janitor on Coruscant I'll have to find another Star Wars RPG.

I did that in Thief a couple of times. I quicksaved right before I died. I've since remapped the keys.

It's being done by Black Hole Entertainment, who did Armies of Exigo. Namco is publishing.

I keep all my original files as .psd, though I don't have space concerns. What are the images for? I'm afraid I'm not much help, dealing only in print media.

I notice, I just don't care. Like when I last had a game of Deus Ex, after not playing it for over a year, when I first loaded it up I thought "Man this looks so damn old", but that was quickly forgotten all thanks a magical little thing called gameplay.
