  1. I'm currently playing NWN2 and enjoying it muchly.
  2. I'm posting and I'm under influencec of alcohol. I believe them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You may have been/currently are drinking, but are you drunk and would you have mentioned it without any prompting? The peeve, afterall, is people who claim to be posting while drunk not people who happen to be drinking while posting.
  3. People who claim to be posting while drunk. Does anyone really believe that?
  4. I have has decided that one of my pet peeves are people who see something in a movie/tv show/book/game/whatever and then claim "they totally stole my idea!" and mean it.
  5. Why not, TB RPGs aren't unpopular on console.
  6. The Sims 2 is much more lenient with all the sims needs, of course that's no guarantee that one would like the sequel any more than the first.
  7. Everybody dies. In Spider-Man 4 they'll all be resurrected as b-movie actors. Michael Par
  8. I think I registered The Sims way back when, possibly needed to download official tools for modding, but I can't quite remember. So no, because I'm lazy and don't care. And I delete the registration folders that some games install.
  9. That's pretty much what I said. The PC and console market may be, as you say, pretty far apart, but it doesn't make any sense to completely ignore one when deciding what is or isn't a "killer app". Oblivion may have been a killer app for 360 had it been exclusive, but it's not because it also has a huge fanbase for PC. In other news, typing "killer app" makes me feel silly, like I'm using leet speak or something. Blergh.
  10. I don't own an Xbox 360, but that game is the only one for the system that interests me.
  11. You should see a doctor, it sounds like belly button cancer.
  12. 4 of those games are available on PC. I think for a game to be a "killer app" it needs to be an exclusive. Like Gears of War, for instance.
  13. Gee, you gave up on the game when it was only getting started. I found that segment quite frustrating, but I felt so good when I finally got past it. Of the Project Zero (Fatal Frame) games, I've only played the third. Like the video mentions you do your best attacks when the ghosts are right on top of you, which is rather nerve wracking at times. Something I liked about that game is the fact that between chapters in the spooky mansion you woke up in your own apartment, but home never felt quite as safe as it should. Creepy.
  14. The computer won't recognize them as installed for the purposes of expansion pack installation or autoplay purposes, but the games will still work fine. I found this out the hard way, wiped my C: drive during a reformat. Autoplay no work anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've always had a seperate hard drive just for games, and it's nice that so many will run fine after the usual format and reinstall of Windows.
  15. I finished it around 10 to 15 hours, I suppose. Probably longer if you aim to play a more stealthy game, which is harder. There are lots of secrets to find, and a couple times later when you have optional objectives that change the story, but not the gameplay. Although I did .
  16. The ads aren't made to sell the product, they are to generate interest in it. They aren't made for people like you or me or probably anyone else on this forum, who have likely already made a decision on the systems they will buy.
  17. The whole thing? The demo or the game? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The full game.
  18. There is a fancy pants magical sword you can make later on though. So what bugs have people heard about? Other than the two oddities I mentioned in the other thread, I played through the whole thing without a problem. As for loading, it's longer than HL2, but not quite as frequent. It's no better or worse than any other FPS really.
  19. Ads that seem to have little to do with the products or services on offer are nothing new. in Australia at least, banks seem particularly bad in this regard. I guess they just follow the philosophy of "if it gets noticed, it's done the job", and it did.
  20. ^ The blonde woman isn't Nico, she's Georges new companion. Apparently Nico only appears in a small part of the game.
  21. That second ad was creepy and awesome.
  22. Any good? I'm starving for a good point&click. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm enjoying it quite a lot, and rarely do I find a point & click that I enjoy nowadays.
  23. Dark Messiah & Secret Files: Tunguska.
  24. Combat is very samey, although I do enjoy using the environment. I've probably killed more characters by kicking them off ledges, kicking them into spikes, kicking them into fires, hurling things at them, etc. I doubt we'll ever see those type of rpgs, not from big mainstream companies anyway.
  25. ^ It's Morning's Wrath
