Stop the whole Exile + Raven fighting the Sith.
Fighter replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
One more point... Never does it say that the true sith is a race of creatures with a giantic fleet ready to overtake the republic. Infact Kreia says sith is a belief and that true sith empire rules elsewhere. What kind of empire and who does it rule is never mentioned. Maybe they are just true believers and not a separate race. Maybe it is an empire of knowledge and technolgy that lies there waiting for someone to claim it and use it in a 'great war to come', like the rakata (who were also an empire) starforge. And Revan went in the hopes of discovering its secrets and got lost on the way. Which is preferable since I really dont want some alien race with no connection to the republic to suddenly come out of nowhere and atack. I much prefer an internal strugle, it is better for rpg. Kreia is cryptic enougth to interprit things in many ways. -

They just need to finish Revan & Exile story. There is no need to even show them in the game. Just mention through other characters. You should definately not play as one of them, it would be really stupid. Their characters are already established there is nothing more to discover. -
Did anyone else just get a KOTOR II survey?
Fighter replied to Sir Cedric's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
So since they are asking about KOTOR3, would this constitute a conformation of a sort that there will be one? -
I would go to fight but not follow a specific individual. All this talk of "I would follow Revan and not Malak" is weak people.... You should decide on the action for yourself not blindly follow. And I would figh against the Republic afterwards...

It was a curious way to help it by first beating it into submission...

That is a mark of a true tyrant not a leader.... Really? First the jedi come to take him out then Malak turns on him... Does not seem like he/she prevented either act... As if you somehow know this for sure... I cant beleive Revan is winning. He/she was a person whos tactical abilities are unknown beyond "Revan was great" and that he/she threw away other peoples lives to gain the upper hand. That on its own does not make a great strategist. Plus Revan is the PC and voting for yourself is stupid...

Fighter replied to FaramirK's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
And why would the behavior of the character say that Kreia is not Kae? What do we know of Kae? What we do know however is that Kea's and Kreia's stories are surprisingly simular: Starting from both training Revan to participating in Mandalorian wars to being exiled to both being beleived to have died in Mandalorian wars. Kreia's name is is not actually Kreia, Atris says as much. Ofcourse she can be refering to Traya. But that is not a name it is a title. If that is not her name then her real name must have been mentioned somewhere and Kae is a logical choice. Handmaiden's theme of betrayal being in her bloodlines. Kreia's entire 'Betrayal' routine when you start training the Handmaiden. Plus Revan learned from many masters, but Revan could only be a padawan once and only to one master. We know that he/she was a padawan to Kreia and since Kae was his/her first master that probably means that Revan was her padawan and not just someone who learned from her. So ofcourse there is no absolute proof. But there is more hints at it then are against it. And I dont think it was some kind of 'accident' on the part of the writers. But beleive what you will... -

Fighter replied to FaramirK's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What is important are the last parts of those quotes. Desiple says Revan came to Kae before he left the jedi order. Kreia says he came to her. They are one and the same. There are lots of subtle hints at this which I cant be bothered to look up now. I dont beleive Obsidian just did it for fun or overlooked it. They meant for Kreia to be Kae. There are just too many mentions of Kae for her not to be and too many links... -

It wont make sence if you translate it word for word. It is an expression and you have to be Russian to understand... -
They should not change the style of the game so drastically. Jedi academy is good in its own way, but KOTOR is different. Plus alot of people who play rpgs dont like 'arcade' style controls.

Conspiracy hidden by last minute cuts...
Fighter replied to FaramirK's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Basically about this. Kreia=Kae Disciple: "As a Padawan, Revan was trained by Master Kae, before she was exiled. Strange, I do not recall who Revan's master was after that. And it is said that he went to his first - and final - master to learn how to leave the order entirely, as she had." Kreia: "He came to me, yes. Both before and after, before Revan knew himself. And after, in the times when Revan was coming into his own and learning he was more than he had been told. At one time, Revan was my Padawan. In times past, long ago. But Revan, when he had learned all he could, had other masters... that fool Zhar, and other Jedi on other planets. He learned from each. But in the end, he turned back to me. When he realized there was nothing more to be learned from the Jedi - except how one could leave them forever." -

I think it is pretty clear that Kreia is Kae. There are too many hints at it and all of them can not be just coincidences. It was not cut, it was just not developed further. -
I like the KOTOR2 storyline better. It felt deeper and more intelligent. KOTOR1 was simmple but perfectly executed. But I still think that KOTOR1 is a better game overall. The pacing of character interactions especially was alot better and they had a chance to resolve their issues. As opposed to KOTOR2 where they just stoped saying anything new after a certain point. If only Obsidian spent more time on the game.... Linear gameplay: How was KOTOR1 different in this respect? The only place where you could really choose how the story plays out was at the very end with Bastila. But this I personally dont care about as long as the story is good. In K2 you could do entire planets with a different outcomes.... And btw both endings sucked. I really expect more from a 30+ hour game with such characters and story. But all you get is: "You won here is a medal" and the Ebon Hawk flying away force knows where....

Do You Think Revan Deserved A Second Chance?
Fighter replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Revan got alot more then he/she deserved. Mindwipe was a small price to pay. Whatever reason Revan used is irrelivant, what he/she did was not better then what would do or Mandalorians did. I guess if you play LS he/she proves to be deserving of a second chance, redemption was always a theme in star wars. But it was still reckless of the jedi to let Revan loose on the galaxy. He/she was their last chance I suppose...
