  1. I can say with almost certain probability that Half-Life 2 will be the game of the year if and when it comes out!
  2. You don't like this idea? I think it's a great idea if done well. That's one thing I didn't like about the first game. I'll wait until the final game or perhaps more interview before passing final judgement on how well it works. I like this idea but you should not be able to corrupt everysingle member... Some of them just have to be too strong in their beliefs to be swayed one way or another.
  3. It's not too realistic. It's a simplistic solution to a problem done better in previous games. It restricts my choices as a player. The story evolves around the characters too much for it I think... Imagine killing Bastila at the start... You might be right in your own view, but I personally would be willing to sucrifice those choices for better storyline involving the characters...
  4. In KOTOR1 you could not kill the party members anytime you wish, but you can still leave them at Ebon Hawk... So whats the big deal about kicking them out...
  5. There is just not enough information about new characters... Shortly after the game comes out there will be people who hate the new characters just the same as in KOTOR1... "She is so anoying *whine*, *whine*" The haters being the most vocal ones, but outnumbered by the: "she is so hot *drool*, *drool*" But right now all there is, is a poster. What if Atris turns out like Mira ingame who people think is ugly. For now Bastila wins...
  6. I think Republic is probably loosing the war badly as in the first game... It's just I dont see how they could storm the jedi headquarters on Corusant while the Republic is strong there. If they assasinated them one by one then the jedi must really suck....
  7. Yes maybe you will have to organize them somehow as you say...
  8. "The halls of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant lie empty, and the waters in the Room of a Thousand Fountains have fallen still, in reverence to the Jedi who fell to the Sith in battle... or were seduced by the lure of the Dark Side." From Lucasarts page for KOTOR 2... Well, there may defintively be Jedi in hiding and part of the game might be that you have to seek them out and unify them. Or destroy them, if you walk the Dark path I think its made clear that there are other jedi in the game you will meet... Its just you are beleived to be the last one...
  9. It must be if the jedi are presumed almost completely destroyed... And since the main council is on Corusant...
  10. There is probably some underground resistance led by the few remaining jedi, but not a council as such.... This is where we might see characters from the first game aswell... Possibly Revan is part of it...
  11. Anyone else think that guy looks like Deadeye Duncun? http://media.xbox.gamespy.com/media/679/67...mg_2232916.html
  12. You can be sure the main villan uses a lightsaber... It would be cool to have somebody that you dont expect. Even if it is the guy in the mask who you see throughout the game. So when he takes off the mask, it is someone you know but never expected.
  13. Why would DS Revan search for an ultimate weapon though.... Assuming DS ending of the first game, the Starforge is still functioning. I wonder how they will explain the Starforge....
  14. What makes you think it is still Revan's ship after 5 years? He/she could have given it away and got him/her self a bigger one... I am sure there should be an explanation as to how it is your character that ends up with it, but I doubt he got it from Revan directly...
  15. I actually think Vandar is the easiest in that respect.... Unlike other characters you dont see him die, so you could come up with tons of excuses for his survival... Unlike others who die by your hand infront of you...
  16. I think what he/she means is people who have enjoyable lives dont brag about it...
  17. I guess I just dont care about game mechanics... Its all about the story and gameplay...
  18. There might be a better explanation then "forgot" when the game comes out. Maybe the PC has personal reasons to stop practicing force use. And after you dont you do tend to forget. I think it wont take you long to remember again anyway, so whats the big deal? I liked the idea in KOTOR1 of not being a jedi from the start, it makes it a better experience once you finally get that lightsaber and force powers!
  19. How much possible "personality" are you expecting from a utility droid....
  20. They already said in interviews that some characters will have cameos. Certain characters will play part in the storyline, some bigger others smaller.
  21. If that be the case, then there would not be a need to ask the player about choices they made in KOTOR1. There were strong hints already that those choices are beyond just LS or DS. The only possible reason for it is to see what happened to other characters.
