Russian pro-democracy protests
The best thing is they got >90% in prisons and... insane asylums.

Russian pro-democracy protests
99% in Chechnya to be precise. And not for the first time. Also 91% in Ingushetia and Dagestan. Everyone knows it's retarded.

Russian pro-democracy protests
I am Russian so don't lecture me on this please. I know how this happens, first there are small protests that everyone brushes aside and then suddenly there are 500 000 people in the streets. That is how it was in 1991. But until this happens there is nothing to talk about because years may pass. You think this is the first protest that gathered 5000 - 10000 people? There have been dozens. There were protests exactly like this after the last election in 2007: And everyone said it will be just like the "color revolutions" in Ukraine, Georgia, etc. And hello, it's 2011. Putin is still there. And now it'll be the "Arab Spring" in Russia? Not convinced. Saturday will be another supposedly big demonstration. We'll see then.

Russian pro-democracy protests
When at least 50 thousand comes out there will be something to talk about. This is nothing and will lead to nothing. Fact is the people who pass themselves as "leaders of democratic opposition" are incompetent buffoons with unpopular ideas or no ideas at all (no I don't refer to the basics). Fox news being their usual self trying to pass clashes in Greece as Russia:

Killed more than 70 people in BF3 in a space of 10 minutes by shooting grenades up the escalator in Metro. Same two spots over and over again... That's what you get when you design a level with no alternative routes and put 64 players in it.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim + at least an average Bioware/Obsidian story and characters = would be masterpiece. *sight* I'm really liking the area design though.

STEAM!
Damn, missed it then. Oh well, I might still buy it. EDIT: Ha! Still found it cheap on the "evil" Origin. Now there is a benefit for buying BF3 and installing that thing.

Played some Battlefield 3. First impression: that flashlight is a gaming abomination.

Bought New Vegas at 75% off bare moments before the deal expired. Boy am I glad I logged into Steam today. Anyone thinks Mass Effect 2 will be any cheaper?

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Enjoying it so far. The game has some pretty locales and it's very atmospheric. What this game could really use is deeper character interaction in the style of a Bio/Obsidian rpg. it would damn near be perfect. For those who played more that me: Is there any point for taking henchmen with you (aside from as pack mules)? Do they get any more dialog and story? Also: Stormcloaks or Legion?

What are you playing now?
Playing which I bought on a whim for 1.75 euro on Steam. Would probably never notice this if not for the price. Which would be a shame since it's pretty cool so far.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
What I don't get is why a digital copy of say Arkham City on Steam is 39,99

What are you playing now?
I am not sure why you'd ever expect different. In my experience any teamwork worth talking about is practically nonexistent outside of playing with people you know.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
As much as I don't want to install Origin I wouldn't risk my cd-key being banned or some such. Mixing cracks and online play isn't a good idea.

Amnesia the Dark Descent. It's the scariest video game I've ever played.
-
Mass Effect 3
One thing I've been wondering. So what exactly is an on-line pass that you can't pass it on to another user?
-
Mass Effect 3
It might not prevent second hand on some massive scale. But money is money. People will always think twice if they are not getting the complete game buying second hand.

And they hired a novelist for Doom 4. Or so were the rumors some time ago.

You could collaborate with a group of people to rotate your games thus being able to play every game for the price of one. I don't see them going for this.

Mass Effect 3
They couldn't come up with a more interesting less generic face?

Diablo 3 Discussion
I have a good Internet connection. But something still happens to it once in a while. At one point it took the phone company two months to fix my line. Not being able to play single player would piss me the hell off. Besides I just plain don't like the idea of having less and less privacy. Now some dude at Blizzard HQ is going to know what I do with my game.

Mass Effect 3
Sheppard will search for five pieces of an ancient artifact then plug it into the reaper supercomputer. Or some such.
