But seriously you tell me, what am I supposed to be seeing in these reports from Sochi? These "journalists" want me to take away that Sochi isn't ready for the Olympics. Ok... If someone said: - This picture is how 50% of Sochi hotels are. -- I can understand this. - There is no hot water in 30% of facilities. -- I can understand this. - This is how everything is over here. And here is proof. -- I can understand this. Those would be statements with at least a pretense to actual representative research. Something that attempts to paint the big picture. But what am I supposed to do with pictures of some toilets and gloating remarks? Am I supposed to take pictures of some bad tap water as evidence of "poor delivery" overall? Are they serious? If Sochi Olympics are so poorly organized then they need to prove it to me with actual reporting.

I did not mean "offender" in the way you are thinking. Just pointing out that a lot of sports offer more exposed skin because I thought you meant to ask why they haven't banned those tennis skirts. And not necessarily because you have a problem with it but because there are enough vocal people in general who take issue with anything they deem sexualized.

Tennis is hardly the biggest offender.

Honestly I am no fan of Putin or the way Olympic construction was handled. But this western media masturbation over a handful of toilet pics is toxic in the most unbecoming manner and frankly pathetic. Ironically it's the same nitpicky nonsense Russian media uses. As for antigay laws. No one has done more for "gay propaganda" than Putin's cronies. It used to be that no one cared, now that's all anyone talks about. Also very typical of our government. Max Payne 3, Gears of War, (new) Tomb Raider. All have good mechanics. A game like Mass Effect (imo) is to a descent shooter what Skyrim is to a sword fighting game like Chivalry.

Those are absolutely piss poor shooters as far as the shooting mechanics are concerned. If those are the only ones you can name I would say you have never played a proper shooter. Not that I think you would like one with your overall attitude towards the genre. The issue with Spec-Ops if I remember correctly (because it's been a while) was that the take cover button also did something else which led to some kind of issues I can't remember anymore. It happens more often than you think. Metro 2033 has weird floaty aiming. Crysis 2 mouse acceleration has to be turned of by edditing the config file manually.

Oh It's worse (on PC at least) due to terrible mouse accelartion which makes for floaty uncomfortable aiming, badly implemented cover mechanic, and bland gunplay.

Wonder if the DLC is even worth it. Most times I don't even use it and it's just a waste. I have yet to even install Dishonored tho, so it'll be a while before I find if I even like the game enough to get the DLC. Brightmore Witches DLC is six more full missions containing a parallel story with a different character. DLC done right IMO.

In PST I ran past a lot of the combat. Can't do that with TB.

How I feel about most things with "commentary" (*cough* Spec-Ops). Sure enjoy the game trying to mess with you but don't latch on to how it 'exposes' anything as if no one knows.

It's a big game or maybe they did finally fix it. I still got a handful of quests I've already completed show up a active again. A few I had to fix through console commands. There is also small stuff aplenty that you may start to notice the longer you go, like NPCs talking about long over events as if still ongoing, happens often.

I personally don't give a crap about choice. I just don't. I perfectly happy to play along with linear. As far as quality of writing, like I said better than the main quest. Not very good still, nothing in Skyrim is.

I would recommend installing UI mods that let you switch weapons/spells/equipment instantaneously without using the menus.

I know of only one way. To me that did not seem like an obvious path to get there.
