  1. Once, he said that IWD2's 3rd edition engine was well-constructed. I've never seen him hump any of his games, and there was a time or two when I thought he really, like really, did not like NWN2, but on the other hand I don't think it's harsh to say that Josh hasn't yet made a game that's been all roses and worthy of nothing but high praise. I like NWN2 a lot, but I'm not going to say it couldn't have been better in a number of ways. Besides, this is his job. He's not obligated to love it in any case.
  2. I'm not sure Obsidian is foolish enough to break their game with a psionics class. They were pushing it with the Warlock as it was.
  3. Interesting. That would at least imply that (assuming the Red Wizards are antagonists in the storyline, which is reasonable) the PC will be able to be a bad guy. Maybe they'll do a better job of that this time Shame about the lack of characters from the OC. I'm definitely disappointed by that aspect. But I can't really blame them for not stopping to fix what was broken. New stories to be told and all that.
  4. Eh, I'll guess that the second un's a lighter, right? It's got the little teeth for the flint.
  5. If a guy has 999999 health my first instinct would be to find the magic switch involved in killing him, ala destroying Yaga Shura's heart, or using the silver sword on the portal. But that's a given, I think. In my MGS example, if you listen to the baddie he gives you hints on what exactly is going on and how to get out of the situation. I think Kojima really enjoys ****ing over people who don't have the patience to sit through his cutscenes or listen to his dialogue.
  6. Cola isn't exactly a good choice for hydration. Then again, I always thought it was crazy how you're supposed to drink 8 cups of water every single day. I used to scoff at it as I drank a 12-pack of coke.
  7. I thought a good instance of an unwinnable battle takes place in Metal Gear Solid 3, wherein what resembles a battle is actually more of a puzzle. The PC "dies", this is unavoidable. But he doesn't actually die. Most people whose first instinct would be to reload as soon as the death animation kicks in would miss the solution. It's not entirely fair, most people probably stumble over the answer in frustration, but MGS isn't really a series that makes everything obvious and easy (I know people who are still pissed off about the Meryl radio frequency from MGS1)
  8. Arab Strap - You Shook Me All Night Long SJ Esau - The Cat (He Has No Balls)
  9. Too sweet is Sobe. I got a strepp infection a few years back, didn't catch it in time, spread to my kidneys. So for a day or so I was stuck in a perpetual state of delirious thirst. I bought and drank about 25 bottles of Sobe and 5 big-gulps worth of limeade. I hurt myself pretty bad. Can't stand to drink a thimble full of Sobe now, it just makes me ill. But yeah, there are about 48 grams of sugar in a bottle of Snapple. I'd drink straight juice, but all I have is orange and grapefruit, and those are too acidic. On 4/20 I inhaled a little too quickly, and created that ulcer in the back of my throat I was complaining about in the Day thread. If I drink anything overly acidic it lights the thing up. Tried to drink some pineapple juice (eating pineapples creates ulcers) today and paid the price for it. So I'm stuck with this until the ulcer's gone.
  10. Been attempting to minimize my soda intake, so I bought a bunch of discount Snapple iced teas and Godiva chocolate drinks. Not sure if it's that much better, but my kidneys could only take so much. But the last thing I had was a cold thai iced tea from the best thai place in Denver. Delish.
  11. REM - Drive
  12. Would, but sound card's on the fritz.
  13. The first 6 episodes of this season of the Shield is up on the torrent sites (it's up to 4 on the tele) and things are speeding up and getting tighter. Riveting stuff.
  14. Great news. Congratulations.
  15. He's collaborating with some unnamed "hollywood big shot" on his next project. I have no idea what that means. Coming soon, Randy Quaid's Desperate Acting.
  16. define 'western' please Of the West.
  17. My Sutton's Disease doesn't usually bother me that much, but I've been taking penicillin for what I thought was strepp throat for the last few days, and it turns out I have an aphthous ulcer (warning, it doesn't look pretty, mine don't look that bad) the size of a penny on my uvula. It's the biggest one I've ever had, and it makes swallowing anything incredibly painful. I haven't been able to eat solid food for the last day or so. According to the infallible wikipedia, an ulcer of this size can take up to a month to heal. ****.
  18. It's not so much the femboys as it is the furries. But SquareEnix needs to bite the bullet and attempt to make a good FF with a female protagonist. X-2 does not count.

    O I C.
  20. I am a great admirer of erotic photography. Especially as it pertains to Belgian politics. It's a fine art in itself. Photography, not Belgian politics.
  21. I had yorkshire pudding the other day. It was alright. Italy has you guys beat.
  22. Wide lowlands? I thought Yeltsin was native to the Ural mountain range.

Scientologists are physically incapable of ruling, or engaging in rule-like activities. It's just part of their nature. Except Beck. I vote "No" on the Duff girl. That is a Duff girl, right?
