I'm back to wondering at what point in the Fallout timeline this takes place. If they follow the pattern and have it take place 80 years past F2, radiation shouldn't be an immediate problem outside ground zeros, mostly.

RE4 was still a horror game in some respects, it just wasn't survival horror, a genre which burned itself out when it married the J-Horror craze and gave birth to so many uninspired "games". RE4 is to Aliens what RE was to Alien. They decided to stop making enjoyment of the game dependent on ammo rationing and arbitrary puzzles and instead made it dependent upon (vastly, vastly, vastly) improved combat. The important difference is that RE4 doesn't require cheating / exploitation to beat.

This is either going to suck terribly or rule supremely. Leaning towards the former. Here I was hoping for a Gary Busey / Warren Spector collabo.

I discounted it because I was used to the BG2 school of epic levels, in which all enemies have to be hit with +2 weapons or better. IIRC, the armor bypassing sword was not enchanted otherwise. I figured that when I went up against demons or the like, it wouldn't do me any good at all.

Looks like Roleplayer took a pass on NWN2. As for myself, I wouldn't be able to name them all. Most of the games I played when I was a kid were shareware.

Great news, everyone! They're making a SIMS movie! Nothing about this could ever possiblie go wrong. In better (worse?) news, Matt Damon is ending the Bourne franchise with Ultimatum, which I think is a shame, because the series has been uniformly excellent so far, and Paul Greengrass has spoken hopefully about its future. I don't see them replacing Damon.

It gets a little bit easier. The beginning part where you only have wildly inaccurate weapons is part of the charm. Once you get to automatics you're set. I'm playing using Kaftan's mod, but it seems that armor still degrades. I don't know if that's intentional.

We've been playing Arkham Horror every night for the last week or so. It's really pushed our sleep into the daylight hours. Working on custom content for it atm.
