Hiro's plot arc is tedious and predictable. Peter's is borderline retarded (Apparently he can't take a box from FakeBrogue O'Drinksalot even though he's got the ability to shoot ****ing lightning, and could they not get some actual irishmen? Those accents are baaaad.) and Claire's sub-Veronica Mars plotline is just as unwelcome as it was last season. Would've been cool had the severed toe grown into a second Claire, though.

I was really unimpressed by the demo. Interesting ideas (for an FPS), bad execution. It's really just the ending of Doom 3 stretched out to an entire game.

Which game are you playing, exactly? Honestly, I've beaten NWN2 twice, with a monk and a warlock, both classes that don't lend themselves to PrCs at all. I just went vanilla. I've never really used PrCs at all in any capacity in any game.

It would be tolerable in a free market system, yes, because the nature of the market would allow for someone not looking to rip people off to come along with a cheaper product and win out. But toilet paper ain't like concert tickets, there's lots of toilet paper but the amount of concert tickets is limited by the number of seats in a venue. There are measures you can use to get around scalping (a certain number of tickets to any one cardholder, for example) but they're easy to get around.

Apple's DRM record is pretty shoddy. That you have limited control over something you've bought means that you haven't really bought it in the sense that you own it, you've borrowed it and paid for the priviledge. That's not true. The most powerful weapons consume much more ammo than less powerful weapons, so it would be stupid to waste a huge chunk if it's not needed. I don't think unified ammo is the problem really, it's the fact that reloading is unnecessary. I don't remember there being a reloading mechanic at all, though it just might be that my mind is trying to purge the suck of IW from itself. The way unified ammo was balanced was the problem, I've been over it in a different thread.
