  1. Gatts>all. After that Killy from Blame!
  2. Interesting, so why do I get a CTD with HG2, I agree though, superb game! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I played it years ago. Could be a compatibility issue with newer computers. I never had problems with it.
  3. Heavy Gear 2, without a doubt. Superb single player campaign, awesome multiplayer, no bugs upon release. It pretty much didn't get any better. Amen to Sanitarium too.
  4. Celestial Fury (or was it Fire?) is the sword that requires Lawful Good but there is plenty of other good weapons around.
  5. Yea Call of Duty 2 sucked.
  6. Torment, Fallout 2, and the third one is too tough to decide its like a 10 way tie.
  7. You guys are all wrong, the best gun is eithe the solar scorcher or the Alien Blaster gun, I can't remember what its called anymore. Random encouters rule.
  8. Or you can go hand to hand I once beat the game using only unarmed attacks.
  9. .223 owns all.
  10. Try playing with a Intelligence of 2 and then going to Klamath and talking to Torr, that alone is worth the price of the game.
  11. No contest Exar Kun, with maybe Darth Maul coming behind.
  12. Is the Ebonhawk compartment fix being added?
  13. The problem with having a unified computer and console gamers' board is we keep getting 11 year old l33t b0yz g3niU$, with their inane commentary.
  14. It amazes me there are no projectile based weapons in Star Wars, all it would take to kill a Jedi is indirect fire from an artillery battery. Gas them, not with choking gas but agents that react upon contact with the skin, disease them with biological agents, inject them with drugs, etc, etc, etc.
  15. Looked it up, looks a lot like Europa Universalis, which is so different from Civ that you can't even compare them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All Paradox games look the same cause they use the same engine. It's a grand strategic simulator, which is essentially what Civilization boils down to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is the gameplay in Victoria anything like Europa Universalis 2? I know a lot of people praise EU2 and while I had fun with it, it didn't compare to the addicting fun of the Civ series. And the depth they're adding to Civ 4 makes it sound even better than before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I haven;'t plaued EU2 before. VIctoria is primarily not about combat but economy, diplomacy and colonialism. Combat is straight forward based upon capturing regions, several regions make up a province and many provinces make a nation. The economic system in VIctoria is far more realistic and complex then the hokey stuff in Civilization. It takes into account ethnicity, productivity, income, etc, etc. War is often counterproductive as a long war is guaranteed to ruin your economy and send you into enormous debts you will spend the next 3 decades paying off. This discourages "rushes" or expanion for the mere sake of expansion and forces the player to economize the situation through diplomacy more often.
  16. I'll pass and upgrade my computer.

  18. Paradox Entertainment owns the Civilization series up the ass. Play Victoria, blows Civilization out of the water.
  19. Icewind Dale by definition is set in a place with lots of snow and I just can't stand another setting like for a DnD RPG.
  20. Actually I thought in some ways Kreia did it to him when he was her apprentice.
  21. Red, always red, single red saber.
  22. Hanharr does more damage then my main PC.
  23. The Practical incarnation is trapped there for sure. The good and paranoid probably not. You can get the sensing stone in the room with the crystal that leads up to the Trial of Impulse and the Practical Incarnation will comment that the crystal is some kind of prison.
  24. The best moment in Torment for me was when I found out that guy in the Clerk's Ward (Iannis I think his name was) was Dieonnara's father. I just froze there for 5 minutes.
  25. Merely voicing my opinion on the impression I got when he was posting on the old BIS forums. A statement. An opinion. Nothing else. I would hardly call that flaming. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hades used to post at Black Isle?
