  1. True. But Yuthura Ban was shortsighted into believing that you might not betray her. Agreed. For one thing, Malak failed to kill Revan in the first place. Malak hasn't proven anything. I would also want to point out, if you go to Korriban last, you can tell you Uthar that you are Revan if you side with him.
  2. Fear is important factor in Sith rule, but respect is more important. Because a unready, brutish apprentice, (such as Malak), will not be as fast to usurp Revan. Malak did not out of fear as much he did out of power lust and contempt. IMHO.
  3. Sorry for assuming gray and Netral as the same. But yeah, gray is fine.
  4. Is this character we are playing much more of blank slate, or is he more like Revan, who actually wasn't? Just a thought.
  5. Agreed. But my point is, no is, or can be, truly and completely neutral.
  6. I agree, but I don't think they will do it. I guess I'm have to get Neverwinter Nigths 2 instead.
  7. it looks nice artiiscally, but it they way the fight is going on, it makes them look like amateurs. IMHO.
  8. Emperor Palpatine was the biggest example of "grand evil". Whatever happens, something will always goes his way. Except when he died. That was his biggest mistake. :D I sort of liked that about Malak. When peopel are crafty and evil I tend to have some respect for them at least, but when they are just stupid brutish idiots who blow up entire planets to try and kill one person and that one person still manages to escape, it makes them more dislikable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. I liked Malak too, actually, but as main evil guy, he didn't really fit the bill. If you ask me, it was more like the Redemption of Revan, or the Return of Revan.
  9. Agreed. Ultimately, people like Jolee were not definitely grey as he claims to be.
  10. Agreed. The Light and Dark. Life and Death. Happiness and anger. Peace and chaos. There isn't anything in between. It is possible, but eventually you will come to crossroads... you will have a choice. You can be neutral, but not for long. The only thing that is neutral is the Force.
  11. Malak obviously wasn't too smart. He a lot of brute force, but not a lot of genius. He obviously found a way to repower himself, but still beaten down. Why? Because his power was damagable. If he could think of something to regain his health and power, why not find a way to make sure it's not destroyed? Revan might or might not be stronger, but obviously smarter, light or dark. Malak made two mistakes; his first mistake was trying to kill Revan when neither of them were ready (Betraying your master when you are both ambushed: it's not like he does not have more to deal with, he lost his jaw!), and his second mistake was not finishing Revan off.
  12. Can we be a Rogue Dark Jedi, again? I don't think it's actually a very appealling option, but It's a curiosity.
  13. Follow the story is my pick, although the Sith Lord is would have been my second option.
  14. Correctoin: after the fall of Malak AND disappearance of Revan.
  15. Eh. To each, to their own. I always thought that it was fine to not be exactly follow the Star Wars completely, as long as it doesn't contradict.
  16. but it also says winte 04 which means winter during this year You don't get my point. My point is, they were being ambigous. They said that they aren't going to release it this year. They just said Winter 2004 to make it ambigous. when did they say they werent gonna releas it this year? i know they used to have feb. 2005 but since then when have they SAID it was next year? .... Take a look at the Gamespot post I just did above. I don't want to repeat myself. I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying you are not right, or not exactly right, anyway.
  17. Nevertheless I am curious how they made up the story (hoping the best). We shall see.
  18. The things is, you are the believed to be the last known jedi. That leaves room for a lot of things. If that sounds ridiculous, think about this: Sith are notoriously agressive and impatient. If they can't find them or know about them, they move on. Certain Jedi may have left the Order before the Sith attacked; that means there will be certain stragglers left. Other force capable users may not have joined the Order, but are neiter with the Sith. Wit hthose factors combined, that means the Sith can miss anyone that is in hiding, left already, or wasn't in the Order to begin with.

  20. I didn't like Juhani because of character, rather, it was her fighting skills.
  21. They didn't change the date. They simply made it more ambigous. Instead of saying definitely "Feb 2005", they said "Winter 2004". "Winter 2004" can include up to "Feb 2005." no it cant its 04. i know its the same winter but 04 means this year  Oh, yes, they can. I've seen many publishers do this. BTW I got this from game spot When the latest trailer for the role-playing game hit the Web on Wednesday, it riled up the already easily excitable fans of the first KOTOR. Besides revealing that members of your party will follow you as you turn to the dark or light side of the Force, the trailer also promised that the game will arrive in "winter 2004"--two months earlier than its previously announced ship date. However, a phone call to LucasArts revealed that the publisher may be using some variant of the Orthodox Christian Calendar, which celebrates Christmas on January 19. "Winter 2004 extends to February 2005," said a rep, meaning that there's still a chance Obsidian Entertainment's first game won't make its debut until next year.

  23. Umm... No. At this stage of the development, I doubt they could, would, and should, make any additions. Improvements are another story, though.
  24. You mean, make KOTOR based on the new engine with the new stuff? Possible, but unlikely.
