I actually think uniqueness is an admirable goal and should be explored. what i am wondering is the generic accuracy bonus stuff. so its fine to have only one flaming sword the whole game but if i cant bump its accuracy i will have to use another sword in late game due to scaling issues. Maybe this wont be an issue but we need more info. I'd assume the generic accuracy/damage enchantment will still exist, just, you won't be able to add kith-slaying abilities to a weapon without them, or burning to a non-burning weapon, or an attribute bonus to an item without them.

I have a tendency of confusing Bill Pullman more with Jeff Daniels myself, for some reason.

Damn... Last I remember seeing him in was Edge of Tomorrow - he was great fun in that. A shame, R.I.P.

That's a great one. I'd love to learn this: Used to know "Gnossienne" at some point, as well as a couple of "Gymnopedies". Love me some Satie.

That's the stuff of nightmares.

Originally your companions (both in and out of party) were going to act as crew. I'm also not too big on that stretch goal, but essentially what they're proposing here is more an expanded crew than an actual crew. Also I reckon that with the first campaign they underestimated the work they'd be able to put into some of the stretchgoals they promised, and that maybe caused them to lowball them this time around. And considering the difference in circumstances between the first and second campaigns with regards to the state of Obsidian and so on, perhaps they also weren't so dependent on their crowdfunding success this time around and didn't want to leave the cooler things up to whether they'd get to that stretch goal or not. But these are pretty wide and largely baseless conjectures so ignore me.

Worried that its turning into Pirate Simulator 2018? Don't worry, despite all the naval stuff, I think we're still going to spend most of the game with our feet on dry land. It makes you wonder whether they haven't already finished a lot of the content on land, with the exception of the islands Fulvano discovered. And, whether they're not going to spend the rest of their time implementing the stretch goals' content and polishing the game. Based on the material they've so far released I'd reckon they haven't. Still a way to go however.

Shoah is superb. Have not seen the other three (although I do like Svankmajer a lot). Also very interesting is Lanzmann's newest documentary The Last of the Unjust, centered largely around interviews with the last president of the Theresienstadt Jewish Council. And if the subject and style is interesting to you, I would also recommend looking for Marcel Ophüls' The Memory of Justice (though to my awareness tracking down a good copy of this can be pretty hard), which made in the context of the Vietnam War and based largely on interviews with those involved (either as judges, prosecutors, defendants or accused) in the Nuremberg trials, works on the dangers that could lead to history repeating itself, and how the US as well as any other group in power is capable of committing similar war atrocities. Very interesting stuff!

I like the idea but I believe it'd be best to find a name more fitting to the setting. As far as I'm aware they were already taking care of not using terms like "golem" or "zombie" and I think the likes of "katana" or "shuriken" should raise even louder alarms. The concept could be borrowed and then retitled using Rauataian or Deadfire languages as a basis (or anything else that might apply).

Nuuu... ;-; If there's a collection I certainly couldn't list, it's my CDs. Nowadays I mostly listen to stuff off of my CD collection than online, and I really dread thinking of getting rid of them some day.

Movies of the kids you keep in the RV? >_> And yeah, some collections can certainly be too big to list down. I wish there was greater availability for films over here, but you often have to pay a boatload for pretty dire stuff.

Kinda inspired by a convo I was having on another thread with Amentep. Do you guys collect films in any physical format? If so, feel free to share them here! Be it as a list, as pics or else. Feel free to comment on other people's lists too. Living in Argentina, it's pretty hard for me to get my hands on releases that are interesting, of good quality and accessible price-wise. Usually I'm limited to asking people who travel abroad if they can receive a few Amazon orders of mine. Either way, here's what I own... Can't hurt to have more - to this day I still hear people bemoaning the lack of this film or other. Can't get their hands on everything though. It's certainly my go-to home video distributor, I've spent more money buying out stuff in their catalogue than I have DVD/Blus of any other company. Those B&N sales are a godsend...
