Weekly Quest Redemption - Festive Wool Hide
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Just checked myself, and you're right, we got awarded a treasure chest! Granted, it's not the right reward, but at least it is a sign that things mostly work..., even if the challenge system probably still had some leftover data from beta testing.

Weekly Quest Redemption - Festive Wool Hide
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Probably really fortunate timing between the new patch and the challenge rotation. The patch announcement went up around 2PM EST on Monday. That would have given those players almost 5 hours to get the first daily challenge. The new daily challenge Monday evening would have let them get a second one, followed by a third one Tuesday evening. The rotation about five hours ago then clearly allowed for a fourth completion. You got it! And they've all been somewhat easy to accomplish if you pick the right scenario. "Bury 15 Cards"? Let's take the party on a trip to the Mountain Peak and blow every roll. Though, I guess it's good that relatively few of us tried to power-game an Ugly Sweater Card. Obsidian still has about a day to sort out server issues until the big wave of weekly completions.

Just finished the campaign on Normal....
Congrats on being among the first to get through everything! Anyway, the ending could have been worse!

Weekly Quest Redemption - Festive Wool Hide
I managed to knock out the last of four daily challenges in a record time. When I redeemed my prize... nothing happened. It appeared to properly "redeem" but the card was not added to my account. No change after couple force quits of the app. The Festive Wool Hide does not appear to be among my cards. Anyone else seeing this too? Update: The weekly challenge system is working... sorta. Instead of the Wool Hide card, we're being awarded a single Treasure Chest. Likely some old data in the "cloud" and not a problem with the app itself. For those of us who already got the award, the devs may need to add it manually. Hang tight, and I'm sure a fix will by by eventually.

Well, that was a shock.
Ethics Gradient replied to Bullwinkle's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Thanks. That's how I feel too. We hit AD6. We're at the end of RoTR. We probably have a long, long time to acquire all this new stuff. It is likely to be the only new content we have to play with for a while. Who know's what's next up for digital Pathfinder, but the character alts will give you stuff to buy, and a way to mix things up in the meantime.

Enchantress no longer deal fire damage
Ethics Gradient replied to Ripe's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Seriously. It's cold enough outside that any fire damage would probably heal more than it would hurt. Maybe fire damage bug is related to the snow in the title screen.

Enchantress no longer deal fire damage
Ethics Gradient replied to Ripe's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Same with Goblin Pyro..., not that I'm complaining about anything.

Succubus bug - can bury cards from Emerald Codex
Ethics Gradient replied to srdclark's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)No. This shouldn't be allowable. I already added the following post to Aarik's big 1.1.6 bug list. -- Emerald Codex: Players can discard cards from the codex to resolve damage. Cards will remain in the character's deck after the game.

Known Issues: Patch 1.1.6
Ethics Gradient replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Also: Emerald Codex: Players can discard cards from the codex to resolve damage. Cards will remain in the character's deck after the game.

Chest Drop Issue, again?
Ethics Gradient replied to Archangelrey's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Cool, thanks! I've been suspecting for some time that the drop schedule hasn't been updated in a while...

Holiday bundle card missing
Ethics Gradient replied to Ripe's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)The Pathfinder Chronicler is a "normal" treasure card, whereas Song of Hawkmoon may need a reboot/force-restart to get it to show up because it is something not usually displayed in the vault. Edit: It also may depend on when you purchased the bundle. Aarik said they corrected the problem of it not being added to your account. If you bought it when it first came out, you may need to contact support with your PFID/User#.

DO NOT PLAY AD6!
Ethics Gradient replied to Longshot11's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Thanks for the help, but this thread is probably best left here for now. For better or worse, all eyes are on the tech support forum. It has a catchy title, and I'm sure this thread will get enough replies to keep popping to the top of the queue anyway. [All aboard the bump train!]

Chest Drop Issue, again?
Ethics Gradient replied to Archangelrey's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)AD3 and AD4 Legendaries are known to have particularly terrible drop rates. Dragon Smiter has been seen in the wild, and the Unities should be in chests, but may be next to impossible to find. I think their probability stats worked out similar to Legendary Dice (something near 1 in ~200 chests).

DO NOT PLAY AD6!
Ethics Gradient replied to Longshot11's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)It is still advisable to wait this nasty bug out, but if anyone wants to live dangerously, it might be possible to get through it if you play AD6 offline. Should your deck be eaten, immediately uninstall Pathfinder, then go online and reinstall. As long as you are up-to-date on the cloud, you should be able to "revert" to your last known good save.

Unable to "Pick Up" Completed Challenge
Ethics Gradient replied to doejaster's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)When you finish up the weekly quest for the ugly christmas armor, expect to grab the loot using the "Pickup Rewards" tab. Last I was poking around, the game UI doesn't really have handlers to award awesome stuff like Cards, Characters, or Dice mid-game. The "Pickup Rewards" tab popped into existence not only to support complicated things like Weekly (or Monthly?) quests, but to provide a nice way to hand out rewards other than gold. Maybe if we all ask reeeeeallllly nicely, we can get some monthly quests to unlock the character alts.

DO NOT PLAY AD6!
Ethics Gradient replied to Longshot11's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Agreed. I love the work that Obsidian has done to make the Pathfinder ACG digital, but it has almost always been good advice to wait for the 1.1.x.1 release. As far as retroactive fixes for characters decks being eaten by Morgiv... that is not going to be a recoverable error. Banished cards don't stick around in character/party saves. Unless it is just a really mean display error, there's simply nothing left to restore. I don't think that the cloud keeps previous save revisions, so there's little hope for an administrative roll-back either. Be careful out there. ::sad trombone noise::

Rolling All the Way
Ethics Gradient replied to Jatrrkdd's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Send a PM to Aarik D or fire off an email to email to support@obsidian.net if you still can't find everything. There was an issue with the bundle earlier, but seems to have been corrected.

Horsechopper bug
Ethics Gradient replied to Urtar37's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Correct! The card actually does penalize the proficient. It's a silly little bit of goblin magic, but the original designers answered back in 2013 that the printed card text was not in error.

Unable to "Pick Up" Completed Challenge
Ethics Gradient replied to doejaster's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Oh thank you. So that is something new then? No longer having to "pick-up" the gold. Nice touch. Thanks for the help and quick reply! New-ish. Daily challenges used to pay out automatically. Then you had to collect them for a little while, and now it looks like it went back to auto. The good news is that weekly challenges are finally online. Maybe there will be some cool payouts in the future!

Unable to "Pick Up" Completed Challenge
Ethics Gradient replied to doejaster's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Your daily challenge reward gold was given the moment it was completed. You'll use the "pickup rewards" section to grab the silly winter armor if you manage to complete the weekly challenge.

Bug: Kyra's Dawnflower's Favor doesn't trigger properly
Ethics Gradient replied to LAntorcha's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Confirmed broken by devs. (Neither Kyra's nor Meriseils's blessings are recharging) also probably related: Patch 1.1.6 breaks "Animal Empathy" for Lini

Patch 1.1.6: Spires of Xin-Shalast | Bug Fixes | Character Equipment Set | and More!
Yeah, I agree that the "Buy It Now" price is a little steep (bundle owner or not). However, I can't help but feel that if Obsidian released two alts per month over the next 6 months, there would be far fewer complaints. They hit us with a real-life version of the Vault of Greed. Stiff (financial) penalties if you start grabbing around first-thing, but a little patience will get you there if you have some restraint. Also... now that the new Weekly/Monthly/Whateverly challenge system is coming online, wouldn't it be super-cool if they could work the Alts in as prizes? Maybe if we all ask really nice, they can fit them into the reward schedule.

Well, that was a shock.
Ethics Gradient replied to Bullwinkle's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Except you can't get most of it with gold, only real money, unless I missed something... Among the new things added, gold Purchases now include: Character Alts (6,000/7,000 gold each) Basic Dice (1,500 gold each) Marbled Dice (5,000 gold each) Luminous Dice (5,000 gold each) Among the new things added, gold purchases do not include: Character Alt Bundles Dice Bundles Epic Dice ($7) Legendary Dice ($10) The only things a F2P player doesn't have a direct means to acquire with gold are the Epic/Legendary dice, which still may be found in a chests.

Why is everything so expensive?! (real $$)
Ethics Gradient replied to jolyonb's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)It only costs $60 (US) if you want all the characters right now. With AD6, RoTR pretty much hit end-of-life; so until some new Adventure Path gets released, it's not like you have a ton of interesting new content to drop your gold on. Feel free to support the devs with real money or not, but you've probably got all the time in the world to slowly buy up everything using gold. -- Edit: Sorry; that wasn't directed at you, @Hannibal_PJV. Didn't notice I accidentally replied to your comment until it posted!
