  1. I'm going to say that's wrong. $40-60 is the price for some video games, but not this type of game. The graphics would have to be a lot better for me to consider dropping $60 for it (AAA level games are that much) If I'm going to drop that much money for a game, I also expect there not to be a ton of F2P grind elements in it. Unfortunately, game studios have been promoting the double dip style of model now - Capcom's Street Fighter V is the most recent example I can think of, and even then the base game was $30 and the DLC season is around that much (even though you can grind F2P for it). Note that Street Fighter V had a lot of people complain about an unfinished game at launch and they gave a huge single player content update. The alts just are too similar to the regular characters for me to even consider giving out that much money for them. If they had different, balanced abilities, that would actually be something worth considering.
  2. But some of us got cards that were eliminated (like Song of Hawkmoon) So do we keep our Songs of Hawkmoon? Or did they go away?
  3. Hi, can you list your characters and take a screenshot of your decks so we can analyze them? Also, how often are you losing fights? How many blessings/etc do you throw at boons? How many explores do you do a turn?
  4. The text and the effect is wrong. In addition, Superior Leather Armor allows recharging to reduce damage against non-combat damage (tried with a Goblin Pyro, was able to recharge against the Fire damage).
  5. Like the title says, even though the card text says "difficulty to defeat" the difficulty increase is applying to the recharge check on my spell. So 1) Fail Tickwood Boar check 2) Cast spell to defeat 3) Try to recharge spell, spell difficulty is +2
  6. Maybe there should be a fast/medium/slow XP progression? So people who want it to take longer can and people who don't don't have to?
  7. Yes; there are plenty of cards that are nice to keep multiple copies of; Greatclub, Greatclub +1 and Greataxe +1 are great low level weapons for high Strength characters; Fiery Bolt is the best low level Attack spell (equivalent to Lightning Bolt, but only 2 Lightning Bolts exist in the Vault and it's 1 AD higher); Utility Armors; Staves of Healing > Minor; Better Sage's Journals; Foxes and Evangelists; Favors
  8. Ah okay, I went off the reference of the physical card which doesn't have this text. If the PA version has worded like a Temptation, then it should deal damage
  9. Yes, it's possible to cast Cure on other characters' turns. Tap the other character's icon and you can use their cards.
  10. Actually nothing in the card says that the barrier is defeated if you decline. The is in contrast to the Temptations in the Wrath of the Righteous set, which explicitly say the barrier is defeated when you decline.
  11. That event also causes the henchmen to be shuffled into another deck when they're defeated, so I think that power is just messed up.
  12. With the current state of bugs I'd rather them wait a bit before releasing the next piece of content actually.
  13. So, I fail the Wisdom check for Goblin Cutpurse. I bury a random card... and it's the Strength I displayed the explore before. What? How can it bury a displayed card? And by the way, I still have the +3 to my Strength.
  14. The chains visual cue also doesn't clear itself when your check is done, at least during that turn, which makes it doubly confusing.
  15. Amiri was the second character I used (in the physical game) Amiri's movement power is actually very powerful, as there are some nasty "at the start of this turn" effects that you can dodge by moving her away. The bury power is actually powerful, because she can bury things she doesn't need ever to power her rage ability. Which means she can get to things she does need. In addition, if there's a villain, she can bury and discard a weapon to get twice the bonus. I think it's a matter of playstyle; Longshot is right in that they're both slow deck-cyclers; if you have the need to have everything in your deck at the end of the game, then Amiri isn't going to be good for you. It's similar to Seelah's Crusade power - people don't like it because they want 0 risk and all the rewards. If the class decks ever come out, those characters have certain situations they don't have to bury the card, so maybe you'll be more comfortable with that. Talking about health though, I think the lowest health I have ever gotten down is like 2, and that's maybe 2-3 times out of hundreds of runs. Health is quite manageable if you're aware of how many cards you have in your deck.
  16. I actually saw no issues with location randomness when I was using Augury (and I use Augury a lot). I did have a few "3 henchmen in a row on top" stuff but those streaks are part of randomness. Tweaking die rolls only happens during the tutorial and nowhere else.
  17. It looks like I am running into the same issue in quest mode - it seems to do with the "roll 1d6, discard a blessing" scenario power. I had the issue happen with Goblin Raid and Skeleton Horde, those summons prompted a close with at the last location it got defeated at.
  18. I tried to use a Brooch of Shielding to reduce Black Fang's Acid damage breath, but I wasn't allowed, even though it said to reduce all damage by 1. I only saw discard and bury as choices.
  19. Justice Ironbriar summons just do weird things for some reason. Justice Ironbriar summoned a Yeth Hound, and it was Ezren's turn, but I selected Harsk to fight the Yeth Hound - but after the Yeth Hound did all of its checks, Ezren ended up having to fight the Yeth Hound, even though I selected Harsk to do so.
  20. So I was in a quest that had the "roll 1d6. On a 1, discard the top card of the blessings deck". I noticed that summoned henchmen like Goblin Raid and Skeleton Horde will prompt a close at the current location, even though summoned henchmen should never prompt a close (because they are never "from" a location).
  21. No. A check that has a trait is different from a card that has a trait.
  22. I have a similar issue when using the Blessing of Zarongel against an Animal - but only when it's the current player playing the blessing. Screenshot attached.
  23. Having the same issue at local heroes legendary. PFID DC21FC24AED0B585
  24. I wouldn't call it a "weakness", it's something you have to account for. But re: suggestion, petition to have Grazzle in the game - his heal isn't limited to the same location (although it does discard cards from the top of his deck )
