  1. What ever happened to good old fashioned slaughtering of junk dealers? One thing about KOTOR allingment...slaughtering always gets it done.
  2. Why not a gay romance plot? Maybe because it has no relevance to the game. People like you would rather introduce these politically based, agenda ideals and make the game a fore runner for some extremist cause, that "breaks the mold of the mainstream" to promote its self-righteous and imposing views upon the masses. You disgust me.
  3. Ofcourse it is possible. Prior allingment has no effect on which side you help.
  4. Yes, I know. Yet you didn't take the time to interpret properly what I wrote. I was implying if a Wookie jedi master, mastered its rage and control, as well as the Vaapad style of light saber combat, that Jedi would be the most powerful and well skilled of all Jedi, past, present and future. I was speaking ambiguously about a hypothetical situation while completely aware that Tyvokka was a master.
  5. Wookies are animalistic and their rage would more than likely turn them to the Dark Side if they could ever manipulate the Force. Even though that is not a reason why they can't be Jedi, its a damn good reason why no Jedi master would undertake them as learners/padawans. Although a Wookie Jedi Master could have the possibility to be the greatest Jedi of all time, if they mastered their control over their rage, or better yet mastered the Vaapad form...they would be remarkable in all aspects.
  6. Explore your interest in the Star Wars universe by going here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page The active population of this forum is well aware of any of these tid bit facts you keep making threads about.
  7. It wasnt hard, once he showed you the dead Jedi, I just ran around using Force Storm or Death field on the Jedi so he could not. After that, start brawling.
  8. icebox, clearly unable to continue? Ever hear of acting? From what transpired after Anakin sliced Mace's hand, it seemed Palpatine had more than enough power to continue with his lightening attack. He even stood right up afterwards as if not even phased. Palpatines apparent "lack of energy or will to continue" was planned to help convert Anakin. Palpatine knew Anakin would save him. Because it is the SW Universe, general laws of physics aren't just different, they almost dont apply at all, and the laws of energy also don't apply, which makes theories easier to create. But some base laws still apply. It would negate the whole concept of a light saber. It would theorhetically create two opposing sources of "energy", one of light and one of dark, which in combat would go right through each other, thus being possible but not practical.
  9. To spark your imagination and intrigue.
  10. In the far reaches on the Unknown regions there is said to be an Ancient Sith empire of True Sith and sith teachings. This is confirmed by Kreia and Bastilla in the holocron on Korriban. Among those teachings was an effective and flawless method of turning Jedi to the dark side. At the end of the Mandalorian Wars, Revan, Malak and the Republic fleet under their command went into the Unknown Regions, where they came across this hidden sith empire. Nobody knows what it was and it was never fully explained. As much as speculation, *IF* there ever was a third KOTOR, it would most likely explain what this Sith Empire was and everything else about it. Right now its open to interpretation on what was in the unknown regions, if you play KOTOR 1 and 2 carefully (mainly 2) you get a better understanding of it from Kreia, but nothing specific.
  11. Could have been an editing oversight during post production. Infact it very well may have been white on purpose, but there is no special meaning behind it, it doesn't symbolize training levels or any of that nonsense. Either way, I was basically paraphrasing what Lucas and various people said during the special features on the newest SW trilogy DVD collection. to Exar Kun, it may be possible to use a black crystal, but not to the extent that it would consume/absorb light rather than project it. The concept of a black saber may be "cool", but its not practical, it would not look good on film or in a game.
  12. Black would not be possible. Do you know of a Black crystal? Even if they existed, black crystals would be too opaque and lack the clarity to create a focused beam. Putting a black crystal in a saber would be the same as putting water into a car's gas tank.
  13. The reason for the whitish look has nothing to do with the crystal or training reasons, it was merely a technology flaw with the method of making a lightsaber "glow" for the film. At the time of the orignal filming, the lightsaber blades rotated with a motor in the hilt and were covered in reflecting tape to create the effect. It relied on a light being shown on the blade during filming and caused a reflection towards the camera. It wasnt until the editors could do quality compositing layers on the film to make more defined colors. Even Vader's red saber was a bit "dull" in the original. Generally Ep. 4 was a "dark" film lighting wise, which was required to enhance the "glow" of a light saber from the reflection.
  14. Malaks eyes did have a slight yellow quality. But its hard to find a good head shot without a glowing lightsaber or just a well lit close up. check it http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/mridalmn/...mMalak_1024.jpg
  15. for another method Just open your Start menu, click on "Search" Select to search all files in the "C" drive, and type in "swkotor2.ini " and then do the search. It will appear, then open the file, it will most likely be in a notepad program, scroll down to "Game options" after the last entry under Game Options, type in EnableCheats=1 Then close the file, make sure you save it, start up the game and follow the cheat directions that sites like GameFaqs give you.
  16. Well I say when Chodo remarked about "healing", he was talking about the "Wound" and not the Force connection. Which to comprehend the concept you must put aside the bonus force points. The points are more related to game mechanics, and as I feel, Exile had already been reconnected when Kreia made the initial bond, it was only a matter of feeling it completely, extra Force points dont entirely mean re-connection. If anything Chodo helped to strengthen your connection, but in no way healed you because the wound had remained. Chodo was extremely vague on the subject. The following is not a spoiler, but a related issue of my interpretation
  17. Briefly putting aside the Force points you get for helping him. Chodo Habat mentioned that he could "heal" you. It seems that everyone assumes he meant to help you reestablish your connection to the Force. Although even Chodo admitted that he could not heal you fully. Which that begs the question, what exactly did he mean? Chodo could feel the Force, and anyone who can feel the Force could sense the Exiles "wound", that he was a "shell". I propose that Chodo's failed attempt to heal you was really an attempt to repair the wound caused from the events at Malachor. In the attempt to heal you, he failed, but was able to restore part of your connection (with the bonus Force points). Any thoughts?
  18. No such thing as "Sith eyes", this much can be observed from the statements you just made. Where there is no clear pattern, there is no relation. True that Malak does not have "sith eyes", yet his facial features and skin tones no where resemble the typical "zombification" of the KOTOR Dark Side or resemblance to a Sith Lord. No pattern. As for Kreia, I call her awkward eyes, "Force eyes", as she sees through the Force, yet could heal her eyes at any time. Her color change could be attributed to her proposed Force alignment. The possible yellowish coloring of the eyes could be attributed to a strange force connection. An invidual with the eyes could possibly see things differently than someone with normal eyes. It could enhance battle performance and connection with the Force by allowing an enhancement of vision more suited to the dark side combat. Instead of looking for similarities, look at the differences.
  19. Exceptions have always been made when it comes to killing. In KOTOR 1, playing the light side canon, does killing Malak make you any less a "real" Jedi? You had to kill him for the good of the Universe. The same applies to Mace's actions towards Palpatine. Ki-Adi Mundi was allowed by the council to have wives and children for the sake of his home planet, does that make him less a "real" Jedi? You cling to light side ideals and would rather sacrifice the universe for blind faith.
  20. Its not hard to get one type of every saber, the game has 3 types of saber, normal, short and double bladed. As for getting as many as possible...why? You only need enough for yourself and kreia And there is no set amount of lightsabers to get, but there is more than enough for one person to have, there is no reason to get greedy. Extra sabers are only good for breaking down or selling.
  21. I am starting to think a "Bug/glitch" forum should be made.
  22. The tunnels were above all else, easier than all hell. You walk in, either head all the way left and then right or all the way right and then left. If anyone ever had trouble with the maze...you may be disabled. What the hell is Atris' "malfunction"?
  23. That is not who Kreia is. Maybe in the real world it might be the case. Kreia's one goal was to destroy the Force and she only needed one person, the Exile. Everyone else is of no consequence to her. And by the new canon of Female Exile, the Handmaiden doesn't even exist as a NPC and by that, there would be no mention of her or Arren Kae. This isn't a weepy, whiney game scenario of a mother and daughter reconnected.
  24. On a related note, I have gotten it before, but it seems useless at that point of the game. Can anyone vouch for it being useful at all?
