The Progenitor was a massive female firaxan shark that lived in the Hrakert Rift of Manaan. It was believed to be somehow responsible for producing kolto, and was the center of intense spiritualism by the Selkath, who believed it to be the ancestor of their species - which she possibly was. The Progenitor's immense size and strange capabilities seemed to be linked to the Star Map it swam about, which may have mutated it with the Force. When the Republic established an undersea outpost within the Hrakert Rift, the Progenitor went berserk as the scientists began to harvest her precious kolto. The firaxan sharks, believed to be her children, began attacking the station unprovoked, and a strange phenomenon initiated by their mother made drove the Selkath scientists to insanity, causing them to attack everyone around them. Once distress calls were sent from the underwater base, the call was answered by the reformed Darth Revan. A scientist named Kono Nolan had worked on a poison which in theory could kill the Progenitor, but his assistant Sami believed that doing so would pollute the waters of Manaan in ways that may never be corrected. Following Sami's advice, Revan destroyed the kolto harvesting machine, and the Progenitor immediately calmed down, even allowing him to approach the Star Map. ~ wookiepedia

There are two areas to Malachor's surface, each area holds two ship spots. I can't say for sure, but in each area there should be one at the top of the map and one at the bottom.

How Do You Contact LucasArts By E-mail?
Darth Hades replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
LucasArts is like the Exchange...you don't find them...they find you. Seriously though, I had also previously looked for their contact email and I couldn't find it. There are a few numbers and mailing addresses, but no direct email. I suppose the reasoning for this is them getting flooded with emails from everyone about their own half assed ideas for SW games to make. -
It would be nice to actually use some different forms in combat.
-
Thats not a half bad idea. Although if I may, one feature i would like to see for a SW game is the hiding of information from your group and personal schemes. For example: You want to be a sith lord, but you have to hide your actions from your light side companions, so by leaving them out of your party you gain access to different options. So in essence you could conspire with bounty hunters on mos eisley to kill a prominent Jedi who may cause you problems in the future or kill one of your own team. Better yet you need to hide your actions from your Padawan, and then set in forth events to turn him to the Dark side (palpatine/anakin scenario) and ultimately destroy the Jedi.

I am sure its somewhere on the never ending list of game bugs and defects. If not...congratulations!

For the Wii system, assuming the controller lives up to the hype, I'd like to see a star wars first person game, with an original story that doesn't leech off the rest of the franchise. Similar to the SW arcade game, but not as cheaply done and with vast improvements. Light sabers, swords, blasters and force powers all in the palm of your hand, among other things... Mmmmmmm....

40% is too much, maybe. Combine all the cut dialogue, actions involving various party members that were cut, the droid planet, cut off areas of the game, game endings and everything in between...it may not add up to 40%, but it sure as hell adds up to enough to make praising the game blindly make you look retarded.

I just remembered a realization: Comparison between the two games will have San Andreas be the game to prevail over K2. Why? K2 was a cluster f**k of a sequel. Atleast 40% of the game was cut. On top of that were the countless bugs that made it into every copy of the game and the game in general was rushed by half assed developers. Star Wars or not, the defects of the game put it far below SA.

It all sounded good until this part. I wonder what you mean by "not a long time had passed since they took the identity of Sith". In the game and for atleast 5 years prior to kotor 2, it was understood that Kreia was always a Sith, since the days she trained Revan. She could just mask her true intentions very well with a somewhat darker grey philosophy. Where as Bastilla was DS for barely a day before you met her at the temple.

I've seen others like that, but its still good.

Thank ya much.

I have 5500 nvidia card, so it can't be that. How far into the game are you?

I liked Rakata Prime. Even though there wasn't much to it, it was nice in a very primitive way, I can only imagine it was like that on the whole planet though.

I was wondering if anyone knew off hand the name of the "dinosaur" looking Jedi in Ep. 2. He had a reptile version of Ki-adi mundi's head. He was shot off Dooku's balcony by Jango Fett.

San Andreas is entertaining, and as much as they tried to create a good story, they failed horribly. Mass genocide of "gang bangers" is only one of two good aspects of the game. The other aspect was how enhanced the actual game play was in comparison to GTA3 or VC. Kotor 2 had a great story and fun to play a few times. The genocide wasn't to the scale of S.A. but allowed for more "finesse" in killing. And its SW...come on. But naturally Kotor 2

Exile gave up his force connection and lived without it. Kreia manipulated events in her favor so that upon your first re-connection to the force she was the first person you met, forming such bond. But your ability to form bonds with others eventually diminished your's and kreia's bond. The more formed with others, the weaker is your bond with Kreia. The moment with Visas could have finished kreias connection. A theory.

"It has always been true that one vote will not make a difference...same goes for opinions." Ep. 3 definitely was a good film, it brought the main story together. When Episode 1 was first announced, the SW community was astounded and baffled by such changes and believed Lucas could never bring it together for the story, yet he did quite nicely. -

30 years on top...why change? Despite your angst, it is a proven fact that the Star Wars title is literally a cash machine...they would be stupid to give that up. -
She is only in the game in holocron form and only briefly, but depending on your discussion with Atton will determine if you get to see her holocron or not. I believe if you make Revan Dark side Male, you may get to see the holocron on Korriban if you find it.

Such hatred....release your anger for these films... All the movies have "teary moments" here and there, its natural to cry. -
Most visually impressive world?

Rakata Prime -
Slusk, Visquis, Overseer, all are of the Quarren species. Rakatan would be my vote, goofy fish-eyed bastards.

Well, it didnt have the new standards for most modern FPS' (dual weapons and such) which may have enhanced the game a tad if they had them. As you said "Star Wars" the title is the actual selling point, not the game itself...but it works perfectly...and they know it works. It is "ultimate marketing".
