  1. Many quests you can start and not finish if you don't play them through properly. Talking to people and choosing proper dialogue options should be primary before actually doing anything, if you decide to skip this you may accidentally start an event you can never finish. As for the power sources
  2. Well he is suppose to fade away, Bastilla's light saber is not part of the game and your game may be glitchy. After he fades I believe Kreia speaks to you briefly "Well done" and so forth and the exit is one of the 3 doors into the walls, not the way you came.
  3. Dang KOTOR fanboys. If you love Revan and Exile so much, why don't you marry them? j/k Obi-Wan, seeing as how he was on the top of my "Most powerful" list.
  4. That is interesting. Yes. Revan would be more than a match for Vader. As for the rest of the imperials, not a problem. If he can slaughter Dark jedi after Dark Jedi and sith trooper after sith trooper on the much superior Star Forge, no doubt he could wipe out everyone on the Death Star.
  5. Battlefronts 2 for PC is my #1 choice. Replay value and entertainment is off the scale, add in online play and you got yourself a superb game. Though, Battlefronts 1 had the Rhen Var stages. I loved them.
  6. Mace Windu has one of the best all around records, lightsaber combat with his mastery of Form VII, his force use by being able to use Dark side powers with little or no effect on him and bonus it strengthens his Vapaad and finally his overall wisdom. That and the fact that he had Palpatine beat, hands down puts him up high on the list. Yoda could have beaten Palpatine had he not been reliant on Ataru, by this Qui-gon could have beaten Maul as well. My list (Not counting before the relative events of KOTOR, and assuming each is at their prime). Main factors are overall lightsaber combat, form mastery, basic/advanced force use and knowledge followed by battle victory/survival against other key Jedi/Sith in the series Obi-Wan (This one I stand firm by, the rest are subject to variation) Mace Windu Yoda Luke Skywalker Darth / Revan Dooku Exile does not make my list, his connection to the Force and others has unlimited potential to strengthen but also weaken him serverly. The Force is all he has going for him and his connection threatens that very power, also his combat could never meet or surpass Yoda, much less Windu or Kenobi. There are more to throw in, but theres no need to list everyone.
  7. The Gungans and Jake Lloyd were not detriments to the film, yet they did not help it (it was already a great movie with or without) Jar jar could have been toned down alot that much can be agreed upon (most of his dialogue was just jabbering and not relevant to the movie). The other Gungans had no real time in the movie to make it "soooooo" terrible. The SW universe and true fans are a "thick and thin" scenario. You either stick through the good and bad together and enjoy, or you get out and "keep yer yap shut".
  8. I must say it is odd how folks choose their favorites although my method is not so normal. Personally I like films that offer more information about the SW universe in comparison to the previous film. So based on the cumulative order of information given about the SW Universe and story line completion ANH < ESB < ROTJ < TPM < AOTC < ROTS And though TPM is not on top of the chain, it really was the movie that changed Star Wars to the modern day and secured an even larger fan base than it had prior and with Qui-gon, my favorite.
  9. Hmmm...it seems like every where you go, there is a general consensus that ESB is the overall favorite.
  10. In regards to Shaw being replaced there is this. To connect the films ultimately it was for the better and one of the few great changes. Not to mention when we last saw Anakin, he was his younger self. He never aged enough to look as old as Shaw. Hell if they had kept Shaw in the scene, why not make him the old, pasty white, crusty, dying Vader? Would that make more sense for you hardcore goonies?
  11. Phantom Menace. Qui-gon was just too good a character.
  12. Un-bunch your tighty whities, don't call your mom to yell at me, stop flipping out and take your ritalin. If you took it personally, thats your problem, dont get a hemorrhoid. Those who complain that good editing decisions and added scenes ruined the original films are the ones who should be ashamed. I would rather praise the enhancements. If you don't like the re-releases dont buy them, but don't get all ticked off at me for voicing my opinion about people who spaz out for petty reasons, which you helped to make a valid point for me.
  13. I recently purchased the original trilogy remake collection made in 2004. Aside from the same enhancements as the mid 90's re-release, and as many may know they added a few extra shots at the end of return of the Jedi and switched Sebastian Shaw as the force Vader with Hayden Christensen. And it was so much better than the original, the shots of Coruscant, Naboo and the other planets really enhanced the ending. All you "old school" nerds who disaprove of this should be ashamed. On a side note, having watched the six movies in a short time frame, they seem to fit together quite nicely with exception of two small things. One being Obi-wan did age quite a bit for just being 57 and Yoda's massive senility. Other than that, great. Comments? Tid bits of fact here or there?
  14. As cool as the Silver is, I always have a tendency, LS or DS to choose Red.
  15. Not sure what LS/DS Revan has to do with KOTOR2, but I have played many variations through and never had a problem finding the charges or getting in that room, and the holocron has always worked regardless.
  16. Thanks, I will look for them next time I go out.
  17. More or less for a home made SW universe based film, just for fun and personal entertainment value. Sabers are my prime focus...they are the one thing holding me back. But also to expand upon that into blaster firing and other assorated SW effects. Essentially I am looking for a great program for digital film editing to add to my current "movie making" programs. I can't get more specific than that. Just throw out any program names people may use, like, have tried, etc.
  18. I was curious as to if anyone knew of a good video editing program for special effects in relation to the Star Wars films.
  19. Why do I get the feeling that this forum is comprised of 15 yr old boys in love with characters?
  20. They were easy to find...but if you were like me and very impatient to get the saber...then it seemed harder than it was.
  21. I personally would fit into the Dark side. My love for smiting the arrogant in cold blood is too overwhleming. Using the force choke on a individual in conversations is euphoric. And ofcourse with just Dark side powers (and one or two mastered LS)...there is almost no need for weapons. Light side powers, where very useful for defense, are annoying to have to activate over and over and over. Then there is the "narrow dogmatic views" of the Jedi, which are a bit too preachy.
  22. Even if that is suppose to be a man...that is one effeminate twilek.
  23. How the hell did that happen? Carth runs before you even get the chance.
  24. Typical case of following an ideal blindly and never questioning it. The Order had to focus on maintaining Bastilla to the Light side, for use of her battle meditation. And truthfully they brainwashed her with stories of Revans past as she was older, Exar Kun and Ulic. Regardless of their intentions, the order was the cause of her fall at the hands of Malak. Bastilla didn't have the problem, the Order had the problem.
  25. Your money seems good here. As we know, not all Jedi are the same, regardless of their oath to the Order. They all have different minds and thoughts as humans (though not all Jedi are human :D). The codes of the Jedi work to help younglings, Padawans and even Knights/Masters control themselves and their feelings. Similar to modern religions of today, there are many different interpretations of the code, of LS/DS and of the Force itself. No one way has been proven right all the time, but the basis and guidelines are presented. The Jedi Order of the KOTOR had a strict interpretation and enforcement of the code and had become increasingly paranoid. Fearful of their own demise at the hands of the sith they became arrogant (Vrook and Atris) and overly cautious when decisions needed to be made "in the moment".
